I've noticed that i use using my right hand to hold the scissors and left hand to hold the sharpener. Am I supposed to use the right hand to hold the sharpener? Is this what you mean by using it the wrong way?
@@kaysigethy2331 the scissors should be held with your dominate hand. So if you write with your right hand, then hold the scissors with that. Same goes for your left hand. The sharpener should be held down with the other hand. Hope this helps. Blessings to you. 💖🌺
*A very interesting knife and scissor sharpener! I recently restored a vintage knife sharpener with a very interesting operating principle. I would like to know your opinion about it ;-)*
Please put it into NO.1 scissor slot, keep the scissor's blade parallel to the slot, then pull 5-10 times, Please see the teaching content in the 21-41 seconds of the video.
She scissors video does not give enough information to use it. The knives videos are fine. But I haven't met anyone who can figure out what to do the with Scissors. @@LongzonOfficial
I'm really pleased with this! It works like a charm ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxDcr-y2Pf6xdnrFHrSP7dl9kpKaCozcSQ Takes less time than my old electric sharpener because it can take more off the knife faster, and then it smooths out nicely with the finer grit polisher. I don't know how long it will last before the grit wears away, but I wouldn't mind having to replace it every once in a while.
Sad that the handle is made for left handers. 😢Hold with right hand, pull knife through with left. 😢 Edit: I had to look into this a lot, lol, as none of the sellers were clear about the fact that the knife can be run in either direction against the sharpener. Hence; we can hold with left hand, pull with right, or vice versa. There are several companies selling the same model, under different branding.
This might be the worst video I've ever seen demonstrating how to use the scissor sharpener. Why is there a notch at all? "Keep the scissors blade parallel to the slot." Ok what part of the blade? Parallel to what part of the slot?
There are many similar models but with the different sections in different order of location. I find just using the Tungsten steel section and then the grey Diamond rods to finish gives good results. The white rods do not seem to help my metal knives.
There is one thing is very WRONG in this demonstration ! The way to hold tight or grab the object to be cut, like the meat, onion .... very easy to cut your fingers !
Excellent instructional video.
I felt like an idiot trying to sharpen the scissors... I was doing it wrong and video helped a lot! thanks for posting.
This video is excellent!! What a jewel I found.
How can I get one urgently
Oh we are not supposed to move the knife back and forth? I was doing it wrong. Good to know. Thanks for posting👍
Does it matter which way im pulling?
I've the sharpener and after watching this video, I've realized I've done it the wrong way. So glad I found this video!

Terrible idea
Used this sharpener on all my blades that have an edge... Not getting the razor sharp results i'm looking for.... ?
The overly dramatic music really helped
What overly dramatic music?
I was doing it at an angle this entire time no freakin wonder.
Longzon can you please tell us what is the correct way to sharpen scissors? In the video you are showing two different ways. What is this?
Please put it into NO.1 scissor slot, keep the scissor's blade parallel to the slot, then pull 5-10 times, Please see the teaching content in the 21-41 seconds of the video.
For scissors, do we hold sharpener with our right hand or left? Does it make a difference?

This just got my cuisinart block knives back to normal 🔪 🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪
No oil lubrication required ?
No need, please clean the iron filings with a dry paper towel or a dry cotton cloth after use.
Can you sharpen serrated knives with this sharpener?
Def not

Couldn't you just turn it around and use the other hand lol?
Seeing howe this guy cuts an onion I dont think I should get advice here 💀

I smell a hater in the group
The part that has a picture of a scissor under it.
Common sense should answer all of your question. I promise the video is not the problem here lol.
I used this to sharpen four pairs of scissors, and it ended up making them all dull. I have no idea what I did wrong.
@@Crai6Machave you used this to sharpen scissors? How did it turn out? It worked horribly for me.
I bought 1. But the arrangement of sharpener are different. The steel part not at center.

What's with the terrible car commercial music?
Good way to ruin your knives, putting too much pressure on the knife at the start will soon have your knives out of shape.

I've tried countless types of these knife sharpness and they are shit easiest way is learn how to use a steel or a stone
The how to demo moves too fast so also written directions. Frustrating!
I agree. You have to slow play the vid.
I totally agree.
the best way to use that pull type knife sharpener is.
just don't use it! it suck! it's ruining good knifes
