- I love love ❤️ the Prayer Bible idea. It’s using a small compact Bible to highlight and categorize verses to use to prayer over friends and family. I’m going to make one. But I’ve seen comments about no supplies to make one. Broke my heart. Please use what you have. I show a folder in this video that I’ve had for 2-3 years with topics/categories and verse references to pray over family, friends etc.
Here are some of the videos I’ve watched with the ideas. I’m giving them credit. I’m taking none. What is important is that people are reading the Bible and praying. How awesome is that!!!

I went to dollar tree and got a bible there to use for this bevause i dont have the money to buy a really nice compact bible

I completely love your heart. I grew up with nothing, raised my kids with nothing, and now enjoy some financial prosperity (which may or may not be related to my kids being out of the house 😄). I am grateful I can afford to spend some money to enrich my scripture study, but I will always be frugal at heart. I ended up getting ~1200 transparent sticky flags/tabs on Amazon for under $10. There are always cheap and free ways to do the same thing.
What I feel is missing in this process (and I’m guilty) is to watch these types of videos for inspiration, and then ASK GOD (since, ironically, we’re talking about prayer here) how He wants you as an individual to execute your righteous desires. The goal is the same, but the way to get there has many paths. Peace and joy to all prayer warriors 🙏☺️

So many people feel they have to have the things to even get close to God. You made this video because God is not pleased with the ‘selling of his gospel. We have over complicated his word. We have made everything so aesthetically appealing that people feel what they have is not enough. I have bought things to help me study God’s word when I could have used those resources to help someone else. I can be so selfish in my purchases. Thank God for breaking your heart for what breaks His. Love ya!!!

I think that the intent for many people interested in the prayer bible is to have an “on the go option” that may be easier to travel with rather than a notebook and a bible to look up the scriptures. If it gets people praying more frequently then that is a good thing.

So love this. I'm an older woman and have things around. Notebooks galore and realised yesterday I'd rather use a notebook. So I'm hoping to get myself motivated to get on with this. I love praying scripture over people. It's got to be the best way to pray. Xx

Thank you for your sweet video!! I love that you are using what you have. I feel like things are going crazy in the Christian world for women. We have special stickers, special notebooks, special planners, special bible journals and bible journaling stuff, and then special totes to haul it all around. It's gotten a little crazy. And these companies are making millions off of us just wanting to do the newest thing and be closer to God. I love this video!!! I am going to use the stack of unopened mail to create an envelope Prayer Junk Journal by cutting each envelope in half and stapling them together. Blank halves will be the cover. I’m going to get a black, blue and red pen and maybe color code with just three colors. Once made, this half envelope Prayer Journal can go in my purse and I can start praying over my loved ones throughout the day!

Great video! With the materialistic nature of our world, it is good for people to be told that they don't have to be fancy for their prayers to be heard and that God loves each of us the same! It doesn't matter what our financial situation is- HE HEARS US! God doesn't care if we have a special book, folder, fancy Bible, or a notebook- He only cares that we PRAY!
Creating a special Bible/book may put a spark of motivation for people to have a stronger prayer life, but it is not necessary.

I saw my grandmother write on an envelope while watching TBN. She used legal pads to track her verses. When she passed away, I wanted her Bible notes, and I have them. Great video to show people there are other ways to create this wonderful idea.

Good video - I use old packaging from pretty soaps - wraping paper - old Christmas cards ( put the word out to our friends ) I cut small price tags into tags etc. Dont let money be an obstacle - you can do this !!

A few years ago I bought a NKJV Foundation Study Bible. It has a concordance in the back that you can look up words, such as healing, forgiveness, anger, salvation, etc and lists the scripture verses that are in the Bible about the subject. I also have a plain notebook that I write scriptures to pray. I don't have all the nice bells and whistles that others use in their Prayer Bibles, and that's ok. I love looking at the videos and how beautifully they decorate their Bibles and I think they are wonderful. But for those who cannot afford, or do not want to do all that, a Bible with a concordance and a notebook work just as well. You can also look up scripture verses for certain subjects on the internet if you want to use a Bible that doesn't have a concordance. Thank you for this video. I enjoyed it. Agree with use what you have. You can make tabs, bookmarks…maybe dog-ear the pages & highlight the pages. I actually prefer map colors over markers because they don’t bleed

I saw this and love the idea since i have a hard time remembering verses,so I got out my colored pencils and pen(both come from dollar general or just a buck), some my notebook paper and colored 2 lines and cut them out (as tabs)and use my glue to attach them, now to make my lists and I'll use the same color pencil as the tab to highlight the verses in that theme, I'm enjoying the process , I believe in prayer and do love hiw I feel this will help me and I'm using my small complete Bible that my husband paid for when i found it at Walmart 😊

Hey sis, I don’t know you, don’t believe Ive ever watched your channel but you caught me today. Unlike many of the other UA-cam channels you are not trying to make sure that we know you already pray scripted, its not a new idea….yada yada. Instead you are embracing a movement that God is using to raise up more prayer warriors and satan is trying to squash it by using peoples pride against them. I am praying for you content creators in this very important time to showcase how easy, accessible, inexpensive and convenient this concept is. Instead of arguing about who came up with the idea….pretty sure that was God! Thanks for using your talents, gifts and platform to encourage those wanting to pray. Im praying for you.

Jennifer Thanks so much. I paused the video over your prayer verses to copy them all down. I hightlight verses that seem like a purposeful prayer to me with a fluorescent green highlighter when Im reading my bible so they stand out. I use alot in my daily prayer. Theres nothing like praying Gods Word back to him from the heart. I pray Eph 6:19 over myself to give me courage to spread the gospel when the opportunity presents itself. I had washi tape, paper punchers, colored pencils and such to use. The only thing I bought was the small Bible. I feel like it turned out pretty good. It’s really cute!! 😊 Excited to really improve my praying and grow closer to God.

Wow, Jennifer! I was watching videos on making a prayer Bible, but it was so overwhelming for me. I asked the Lord to show me how to do it in a way I would enjoy it and be consistent in using it. I love the idea of the prayer Bible and it makes it so easy to grab the scriptures for prayer sessions. I have a lot of scrapbooking colored pages and I am making my own tabs with cardstock paper and some colorful tapes that I have in my craft stuff.

My heart is truly burning to get this. This video has been a great help. I need to get this going. Thank you for your help. I don’t want to lose an encounter I had with Jesus and this prayer bible has to happen. I gave myself to him and I literally felt like an infusion that I don’t ever want to forget. I always forget but I’ve got to hold on to this, and this whole prayer bible thing is gonna help me do it. If a bible is needed, thirft stores always have bibles. I also know the folks at Barn 45 sends free bibles if requested. Probably, any church would have bibles for free, too.

Junk journal dedicated to prayer is easy enough. Bible apps on your phone is free. Some apps have a search bar that lets you search topics like stress, anxiety, depression, salvation, etc.

for & it gives you verses to look up for that particular word. Example: the word worry has many verses.

Can you tell us how you attached the fabric to the Bible? That is beautiful! I have an old paperback Bible that is worn and plan on doing this.
I glued the fabric on with a special glue. I actually have a paperback Bible that I used scrapbook paper to cover. Nothing fancy. Then I took clear packing tape and covered the paper to help protect it.

Free Bible?? I’m thinking you can walk up to a pastor after church and ask for a Bible.
I would hope so. I hope all churches would bibles available to give away to those who need/want one.
