My first video of yours and I wanted to thank you. I found your conversation very thought provoking regarding one's intentions on making a Prayer Bible. I agree that aesthetics is a poor reason. Deepening our relationship with our Heavenly Father, and learning how to better obey His commands, as well as helping our relationships with others, should be the only reasons why to tab and highlight scriptures to pray.

Hi Jennifer, new subbie here! Thank you so much for taking the time to post this and the previous post.Most of the time we tend to "go with the flow", esp for a great idea, as prayer bibles certainly are.
However, some simply cannot, for whatever reason. Thank you for expressing the heart of the Holy Spirit for those people. I won't be making a prayer bible, but I will have a small ring or disc notebook with categorized Scriptures.Or I may just use index cards,(all of which I already have) which I can duplicate for others as gifts, etc. The point is to get us into the Word, as you have so sweetly said. Please keep doing what you're doing and give that precious lady at your church a hug for me. She is a treasure and so are you ❣

But it is important that we are in the Word and praying daily We are all at different places in our walk with the LORD, so what works for one person may not work for another. Awesome! I’ve been struggling with all the verses everyone is putting out for different subjects. I really appreciate this comprehensive list. Thanks. I jumped hard and fast on the prayer bible bandwagon. I put a gazillion tabs in my cute little bible. I had A LOT of tabs and I was getting frustrated because I wasn’t even near through the lists of verses. Then as I began praying each day in it, I was getting extremely overwhelmed with all the tabs. What if I missed a tab? There was sooo many. And I found that some were a stretch to the subject matter. So then I thought I needed to pick the verses for each subject and minimalize to 3-4 verses per subject…I ended up very carefully removing all the tabs I could and cutting the rest off because my beautiful bible pages were tearing. I have stripped my prayer bible because it was way too much. Caused too much anxiety. So now, I am making a small notebook I’ve sectioned off into days of the week. I pray over people/family/friends/unsaved/country/Israel and ER prayer on the listed day, I have the applicable verses listed on those days. A lot of the verses I’m praying every day because I pray for a specific person each day. I hadn’t fleshed out the verses because I was struggling with finding just the right verses to pray. So the Lord led me to this video. Again thanks.

Is there any verses on addiction?
I've God a god son struggling with addiction

This sure beats the decorative "prayer Bible" that people are doing! This is exactly the same thing without the artistic fluff that you don't need! One is trendy, but prayer is tried and true.
One last thing, Jennifer.. I'm trying to start a channel and I am going to work on putting most of this in digital form. Would you consider a review? I'm going to open a PayPal and accept any donations that come in. My husband lost his job and I'm trying to get to better housing because I need transportation since I cannot drive due to low vision. Prayers are needed!

UPDATE: I have gone through the scriptures on the title "A Servant's Heart" as well as others. I have noticed that two verses needed to be together instead of just the one. For example she has just Colossians 3:23, but I had to add vs. 24. And of course I have to use KJV since it's in the public domain. If you read the verse below you'll see what I mean. I'm aiming to keep the scriptures in context.

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; [24] Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

@@jennifermeyers9430 Thanks, Jennifer! But with all due respect, and I don't mean to sound rude, but a lot of this would have to be redone with the Bible verses because some of it is a hot mess to be honest.
If I can just give you one example. Under "Poor Self-Image" the first verse is:
Proverbs 14:30 KJV
A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.
While this is an excellent verse, it doesn't have anything to do with the topic. This verse deals more with jealousy.
I still would like to send something if that is okay but it's just going to be way different than what I expected. I am so sorry and don't mean to sound rude at all but I do want to be honest and not lead anyone astray by taking any scriptures out of context.
@@BitesOfFaith not rude at all. Some of the topics I haven’t gone through the verse’s because I haven’t had a need to. But I’m sure that these were specific to her kids and situations at the time. I do trust her wisdom and her walk with Christ implicitly. She is one that I would definitely even want as a mentor. I thank you for your diligence in what you are doing and thank you for your support of my channel! I appreciate it so much!

Where are the actual Bible verses? Thank you!
I share the scripture references only under each category. The trend is to highlight the verses in your Bible. You can use the references to look up the scripture in your Bible to pray. These references in each category are to get you started. You set it up and do what works for you. I have a friend who will write out her scriptures to pray as she prays. Again , everyone does thus differently. The most important thing to that you are praying and in The Word. Thanks for watching! If you have other questions, I’d be glad to answer them
