Awesome satire. I almost believed he was serious until he said that pluralism and religious liberty as concepts were invented by Christians. Pure gold comedy from the Babylon bee keep it up.
Yet again, I feel the need to step in and say that Mr. Wilson is incorrect in the idea that in the Holy Trinity v US, Supreme Court decision, declared that the US is a Christian nation. The mention of the US being a Christian nation was in multiple reference to its population composition. It was referenced to further support the court's decision that while Holy Trinity did violate the letter of the law, the intent (or spirit) of the law simply could not have conceivably meant to include ministers from outside the US. Justice Brewer, the author of the opinion, several years later, wrote that Christianity should never be regarded as the official national religion, nor should any citizen be in any way obligated by Christianity by any governing body.
This preacher believes God has predetermined and decreed absolutely everything that happens. So I find myself questioning him when he tries to make us believe we can do 'something' about our crumbling world! Reformers are all the same, cognitively dissonant. We either have freewill to chose or we don't. You can't have both.
There can only be one will that is "free". Either God is free to do all his holy will or he is contingent on another will and can have his plans foiled by a greater will. The Westminster Confession summarizes this complex concept in chapter II 'Of God's eternal decree' I. God from all eternity did, by the most wise and holy counsel of his own will, freely and unchangeably ordain whatsoever comes to pass;a yet so as thereby neither is God the author of sin,b nor is violence offered to the will of the creatures, nor is the liberty or contingency of second causes taken away, but rather established.c a. Rom 9:15, 18; 11:33; Eph 1:11; Heb 6:17. • b. James 1:13, 17; 1 John 1:5. • c. Prov 16:33; Mat 17:12; John 19:11; Acts 2:23; 4:27-28. II. Although God knows whatsoever may or can come to pass upon all supposed conditions,a yet hath he not decreed anything because he foresaw it as future, or as that which would come to pass upon such conditions.b a. 1 Sam 23:11-12; Mat 11:21, 23; Acts 15:18. • b. Rom 9:11, 13, 16, 18.
It's refreshing to hear people be truthful about the fact that they endorse Christian Nationalism. Many of its most prominent proponents are covert about this. Trying to have it both ways.
Thr babalonian bee guys seem so immature to me, compared to Doug. Its like American Christianity verses robust reformed orthodox Christianity...... Sadly we are like at a 98 to 2 ratio
Doug and his ministry has blessed my family and I like no other author/pastor. Truly has changed our lives. His view of fatherhood/motherhood/rearing children is so biblical.
Any legal law against blasphemy is basically going to create an "established church". There's no away around that. (The NT church is not the same thing as the covenant between God and Israel).
When Doug say “take a stand” what exactly does the look like? Meaning, if my pastors speaks out against abortion, LBGT, CRT etc is he saying they need to do more? Is so, what is the “more?” I agree with his premise/ideas I guess I’m struggling to understand how CN suppose we execute.
Two ways to use the Sword of the Spirit. Pull a John the Baptist and tell Herod “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” ; And make disciples of all the nations baptising them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit teaching them to OBEY EVERYTHING Jesus commanded. That is the way to have a gentle reformation and not a violent revolution resulting in the obligatory reign of terror. Isaiah 42 Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations. He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice, or make it heard in the street; a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice. He will not grow faint or be discouraged till he has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands wait for his law.
"CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF..." When did our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the whole while He was in the flesh on earth, ever once force anyone to serve or worship Him? So on what Bible doctrines, texts, or teachings does Mr. Wilson base his opinions and religious philosophy? If he were a true follower of Jesus, wouldn't he do as Jesus did? I was always taught that to be "Christian" means to be like Christ. Wilson says that Christians are the ones who invented religious liberty. But the New Testament says Jesus Himself is the one who invented religious liberty, The Bible says He set forth that great truth when He said, "...Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's". Matthew 22:21 (KJV), Thus He showed that the civil government can only have authority in civil matters, and can never have authority in spiritual and religious matters, pertaining to the individual soul's relation to their Creator. God is no respecter of persons or of nations. He will maintain His shield of omnipotent protection over our country, only so long as we remain true to our founding principles of civil and religious liberty. Because this is the covenant He has made with us as a nation.
A good floor joist would be to teach creation in schools again. God as a 6 day creator the way it is described in Genesis. Evolution as a whole has done immense damage to Christianity because they have gone under the guise of "we're the scientists, the smart ones, and God isn't objective." The irony is that almost all of the founding fathers of science believe in creation, not evolution. Frances Bacon, Johanne Kepler, Blaise Pascal, Robert Boyle, Isaac Newton, Carolus Linneaus, Georges Cuvier, Michael Faraday, Samuel F.B. Morse, Charles Babbage, John Herschel, Richard Owen, Louis Agassiz, James Joule, Gregor Mendel, Louis Pasteur, William Thompson-Lord Kelvin, Joseph Lister, James Clerk Maxwell, John Ambrose Fleming, George Washington Carver, William Mitchel Ramsay, William Ramsay, Wernher Von Braun, Arthur E. Wilder-Smith. This is just a small list of the many more scientists who believe in creation. You might notice a lot of these names are the founding fathers of our natural laws in the textbooks. Secular scientists are a bunch of loser scientists wanabies who are funded by the government. Variations happen, but it has limits, it is a far cry from what evolutionists claim overall.
I've only started listening to this but I would like to ask people to look up the etymology of idol. One of its roots meanings is that of a pretender. In Jewish and Christian thought that would be a spirit or idea or something that is trying to say I can do what God does and I can do it better. And many people fall for that and so they worship The pretender or the idol. Idolatry is merely putting something in the place of the living god. The creator of everything. So do we want pretend laws laws that are not based on the eternal Rock? Or do we want the real thing?
Wilson is a Calvinist and a presuppositionalist. Calvinism is the weakest Christian theology, and presuppositionalism the weakest Christian apologetics.
He starts off wrong. Law is NOT the "imposition of morality" . Law is the imposition of ORDER upon society. There are plenty of legal things that are immoral (Adultery, using tobacco, abusing alcohol, etc).
I just discovered Doug on Tucker. My husband and I are in our mid 40s, life long atheists/agnostics and now coming to Christ. Its not just existing Christians who are hungry, I know so many like myself in the last few years who are waking up to God and are hungry for a strong Christian community. God is working in people's lives and its been mindblowing to witness.
If you want to be a christian, go for it. If you want to be a part of a christian community, go for it. What you're getting into here is trying to enforce your religion upon everyone else by force. It is clearly unconstitutional and evil. Freedom of religion is a basic right. You have no right to enforce your blood god on me. I will always fight against the evil that is christianity and for human rights and religious freedom.

Great interview...timely!
This was epic. Thanks for having him on!
The Westminster Confession summarizes this complex concept in chapter II 'Of God's eternal decree'
I. God from all eternity did, by the most wise and holy counsel of his own will, freely and unchangeably ordain whatsoever comes to pass;a yet so as thereby neither is God the author of sin,b nor is violence offered to the will of the creatures, nor is the liberty or contingency of second causes taken away, but rather established.c
a. Rom 9:15, 18; 11:33; Eph 1:11; Heb 6:17. • b. James 1:13, 17; 1 John 1:5. • c. Prov 16:33; Mat 17:12; John 19:11; Acts 2:23; 4:27-28.
II. Although God knows whatsoever may or can come to pass upon all supposed conditions,a yet hath he not decreed anything because he foresaw it as future, or as that which would come to pass upon such conditions.b
a. 1 Sam 23:11-12; Mat 11:21, 23; Acts 15:18. • b. Rom 9:11, 13, 16, 18.
I think Calvinism is unbiblical.
The things you do are determined by God, including your decision to do it and you being persuaded by Doug
It's refreshing to hear people be truthful about the fact that they endorse Christian Nationalism. Many of its most prominent proponents are covert about this. Trying to have it both ways.
This was good! Would love to see a Voddie Baucham interview.
Thr babalonian bee guys seem so immature to me, compared to Doug.
Its like American Christianity verses robust reformed orthodox Christianity......
Sadly we are like at a 98 to 2 ratio
Fire 🔥
Doug and his ministry has blessed my family and I like no other author/pastor. Truly has changed our lives. His view of fatherhood/motherhood/rearing children is so biblical.
🎯 me too!! The ministries and educational platforms out of Moscow, ID are such a blessing.
Any legal law against blasphemy is basically going to create an "established church". There's no away around that. (The NT church is not the same thing as the covenant between God and Israel).
You misunderstand what the phrase refers to. No, it does not create a state religion where the federal government picks sides between denominations
Great interview.
This was your best interview, yet!
Thanks for having Pastor Doug on!
Yes!
Evangelize the lukewarm Christian in the church and evangelize the people outside
@@georgewagner7787 That is not a synopsis of what Wilson is saying.
Two ways to use the Sword of the Spirit.
Pull a John the Baptist and tell Herod “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” ;
And make disciples of all the nations baptising them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit teaching them to OBEY EVERYTHING Jesus commanded.
That is the way to have a gentle reformation and not a violent revolution resulting in the obligatory reign of terror.
Isaiah 42
Behold my servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen, in whom my soul delights;
I have put my Spirit upon him;
he will bring forth justice to the nations.
He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice,
or make it heard in the street;
a bruised reed he will not break,
and a faintly burning wick he will not quench;
he will faithfully bring forth justice.
He will not grow faint or be discouraged
till he has established justice in the earth;
and the coastlands wait for his law.
This was excellent.
There is no morality without Christ. The Holy Spirit leads us and the Bible never changes.
"CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF..."
When did our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the whole while He was in the flesh on earth, ever once force anyone to serve or worship Him?
I'm simple
I see Uncle Doug

An awesome interview!
*Secularization is not a movement, rather it is Evolution.*
MACA is a bit ambitious. Start with Make Christians Christian Again.
Unfortunately, pre-mils will continue to polish the brass on the sinking Titanic.
That was really enjoyable to listen to.
Thanks for letting us know where the pan handle of Idaho is. At first, I took him for a prospector until the map made known his intention for us.
Wilson is a Calvinist and a presuppositionalist. Calvinism is the weakest Christian theology, and presuppositionalism the weakest Christian apologetics.
@@isaacmaue-tg7kl Do you have anything specific to question?
Robert Bork in 1999 wrote that true Christian revival on the local level was the only hope, to paraphrase. In Slouching Towards Gomorrah.
Best interview yet!
He starts off wrong. Law is NOT the "imposition of morality" . Law is the imposition of ORDER upon society. There are plenty of legal things that are immoral (Adultery, using tobacco, abusing alcohol, etc).
This is a good distinction. Thank you.
You should have David French on next. He's become the straw man target and should be able to speak for himself.
Why should we think Christendom 2.0 would be an improvement?
Did you hear him out? He answers that in multiple places.
You should check out James White and Voddie Baucham
Also answers in Genesis and is Genesis history
If you want to be a christian, go for it. If you want to be a part of a christian community, go for it. What you're getting into here is trying to enforce your religion upon everyone else by force. It is clearly unconstitutional and evil. Freedom of religion is a basic right. You have no right to enforce your blood god on me. I will always fight against the evil that is christianity and for human rights and religious freedom.
In a fearful world we need a fearless church. CSLewis
I like the sound of Kuyperism very much! Great interview, really informative and encouraging. Praise God!
Wilson is so spot on.
He really is an educated man, with a deep knowledge of American and a good deal of other history.
Thanks!
@@ZephaniahL indeed.
"and they have chainsaws." That was brilliant. Lol
The right to protect vulnerability from an abuse of power.
Soooo pumped
Is it more woke that Disney made the little mermaid black or Christians making Jesus white?
👍👍
The xtians did the same to Adam and Eve.
Both bad, one frankly blasphemous.
If you saw Jesus on the street of New York you would call him white
Athiest nationalist took over.
It would be great to see Doug Wilson talk to James Lindsey and Glenn Beck who recently were talking about Christian nationalism and Steven wolf in particular after talking to Doug I think they would have a much better understanding
"Country Christianity" 😂
I would really like to hear Michael O'Fallon and Doug discuss the merits and pitfalls of the identifier "Christian Nationalism"
Scrolling comments & saw this just as he said it. How’d you time it so well? 🤣

Love hearing from doug! Hoping to see him more
Go, Jarret! Naming names.
Calvinism is totally unbiblical totally depravity of the true gospel
Shut up heretic, be gone, reviler!
Pre-Destination is all thru the Bible. Cannot be ignored. Denying this truth is denying the Bible.
@Michael Ward LOL 😆 yeah politics and calvinists don't mix huh?
@@guitarhillbilly1482 Actually, there are very few pre-destination verses. Look them up. And then see what they actually teach is predestined (I.e. conformity to Christ - not heaven or hell).
