hey Miles: "the world needs to hear my message"?! as a 65 years old man in great physical condition, however, I´ve been lack of motivation to do anything... never mind my youtube channel (witch Ill be doing) but you most likely saved my life,, and I really mean that...thank you for your contribution, thank you for this video and muchas gracias for everything!! cheers from the Panama Canal
As a hispanic I love how you roll the tongue on those dreaded R's! Thank you so much for your eager spirit and kind heart to give away so much info that many other uses to exploit newbies like me.
I’m literally at work listening to your videos stopping every once in awhile to type out an idea I’m getting as you talk. Thank you so much for your FREE motivation it’s a beautiful thing! I’m a baker and I’m rushing to get stuff done and I had to stop to leave this review 👏 bravo sir.
Whatever Miles says you guys better listen! Been subscribed since you had a few thousand subs and you've been a HUGE part on my journey Miles - hope that property is prospering 🙏
Miles- Great helpful content as always. I’ll refer back to it. Also a side note- Niche Navigator is gold! I uncovered a niche that was right under my nose. You are blessing to all of us!!
Keep spittin the truth, Miles! Been checking out your stuff for years, and have always appreciated your candid, NO-BS, straightforward advice. Your tips have helped me grow my channel (and income) immensely, thanks buddy! 🤙
After years of following you and debating in my head which direction to go and never starting anything I finally took a leap into making content. I made two channels that were between my passion and major pain point In my life that I would have to document my journey about. Both are doing well but I find it easy documenting my journey and people are taking too it which is nice. Just wanted to say thank you for always inspiring the masses. Idk how big this thing going to get but at least I know the next step in the journey I can come to you and seek direction haha
Thanks miles watch you for years. Thanks for all your content as time allows I push. My niche is in arduino electronics side providing complex direction. Moved into commercial side trying to film and explain electronics at the PCB level. Not many followers.
hey miles, your energy is contagious and comes through the window, i love your authenticity, transparancy and also the fact that you are a very practical guy no need to get bogged down with this whole tech stuff. you keep it very simple and straightforward :) this is tremendously helpful and your free youtube course, no exaggeration thank you very much for telling us the truth, and sharing all the necesary resources for free with us you´ve earned a forever fan and supporter here, and i´m sure you´ll keep on earning many more!!!
Right on! thanks for taking the time to give this video a watch and be sure to go through the deep dive UA-cam training I linked to in the description as well. These two videos together give you everything you need to crush it! you've got this
Alright. I agree. Appreciate the set guidance and keeping it basic. Lighting suggestions and angle’s and how to stabilize. Mainly being consistent. I have a very simple set in mind. For just my hands. Any suggestions? Content may vary though structured around one theme; my channels call to actions will be a strong point. You seem to be of the mind set that Niched down doesn’t have to be “the way”. Your display of simple gear made sense to me. Spiritually centered I like that and you didn’t even get a buzz of bees in the country setting! Nor catching a plane overhead. Now others say the monetization requirement have changed and even after meeting requirements UA-cam may not accept you into the partner program. How long did it take you? Do you have a detailed video how to basic edit, and up load from android and iOS to go to publish? This is key and do you have a detailed of setting up a description box? I know having an offer in the box is important. Do you have a how to comfortably get around the back drop of UA-cam? My simple set idea is conducive for publishing consistently. Anyway nice to meet you today! Again proof is in the pudding.😊
As for a set I would watch other random channels that focus in on hands. Tarot card readings, fingernail art, etc... then just test a bunch of things. Do something different in every video until you find a style for "set" that you like. I don't have any videos that teach how to edit or upload on mobile... it's super simple and I recommend just making a video and uploading. You can delete it immediately… Just get experience. All of your answers will be revealed as you take steps forward
Hi miles, thanks, can you do a video about faceless videos..it feels standing in front of the camera isn’t for me..i do want to share and create..i cant seem to pass the starting phase..
I'm the same way and don't want to show my face either. I'm going to give it a shot anyway and do tutorials sharing my screen. I watch a lot of videos teaching Adobe Illustrator or embroidery digitizing and they don't show their face
Hi Miles, quick question if I may (other people might be interested to get your thoughts on this). If your native language is Dutch (about 20 million people) would you start a youtube channel in Dutch, or would you still go for English. (Assuming Dutch is less competitive, but the market is 100 times smaller). Appreciate your work, learned a lot over the years!
You can also talk about local subjects (municipal politicians, underground punk rock bands in Rotterdam) in Dutch and switch to English if you want to cover spmething that has more global interest..e.g. the farmer protest. Luis comes to mind (Italian guy who did the best croissant in Paris video)
With shorter UA-cam videos, how does that work for monetization? Does it take a lot longer to get monetized because the videos are shorter& therefore the watch time is shorter? Thanks Miles!😊
This is so helpful…200 videos let’s go!
This is the way!
unrelated but that greenery behind you looks amazing and I bet it smelled great out there
It really does.
You’re awesome Miles. Thanks! 😊
My pleasure!
Thank you so much Miles for the practical knowledge and the motivating encouragement! I also loved getting to sit with you in your lovely backyard :)
El gusto es mio amiga!
It would have been hilarious if at some point Bigfoot walked by in the background
That is hilarious!!! 👣👣👣
Millions of acres of forest behind me... definitely Squatchy up here

I get really tongue-tied. I must edit my videos!! Question...what about closed captions?
I let youtube generate them. I don't do any captioning on my end anymore
@@MilesB appreciate your replies, thank you!

Dutch. No doubt. Become a star in your back yard! There is an abundance of opportunity in every language!!!!
