Hey, I'm currently using the Harrows Wolfram 97 with Condor axe clear silver long with the small flights. Had a conversation about it and now I ordered mission sniper points to remove the lip adding a seamless look. After two months they already have some damages and i guess without that lip wear and tear will be reduced.
Because of you, I started using specialty points to remove the lip and my goodness! I’ve had the same set of condor axes on my darts for over a year. Still in pretty darn good shape because of the points! Thanks worldwide 🔥
I am a recent fan and advocate of the Condor Axe and Condor Zero Stress system. In my opinion they both work well but the Zero Stress are so flexible they bend out of the way with incoming darts almost every throw. The Condor Axe is my personal favorite and they are indeed rigid! Over the past year and a half I have purchased many sets of Darts Clearance Darts at their super price point. For many of these sets I have a trident nose cone and a punched Darts Clearance Flight. I have not even begun to tear up any of these folded flights yet. So back to the Condor Axe. For around $25 I have secured a set of Condor Axe Stem / Flight combos + I have been installing Mission Sniper Points. This combination is more expensive than the Darts Clearance barrels however for about $45-$50 all said and done I have the most perfect setup you could ask for. I have been using my Condor Axe + Mission Sniper setup for at least 1 month now and I have zero damage to the flights! Expensive but completely worth it!
100% agreed Worldwide. I say specialty points, or Trident nose cones at the very least, are CRUCIAL even for normal flights, let alone Condors etc. Once you go specialty points, you never go back! I have Condor Axe, and L-Style, but on my main match set I just use normal pear shape flights with aluminum stems…but those darts are Steve Beaton Special Edition, which as you know have a bull-nose. For that reason, my Mission Sniper Specialty Points are critical in eliminating the lip and therefore almost outright eliminating ANY damage to my flights.
Personally, for me, the best flights that I own are Robson Molded Flights that pop off when they get too close to another dart. This seems to work best for me as the dart doesn't robin hood or lose flight but goes where intended.
I use both the Axe and Zero Stress and they are great. Really durable as long as you take care of that lip as you said. Probably the best moulded flights on the market right now
Been using the Condor Axe system for the past 2 months with my one80 R2 REVAMP darts and absolutely no damage to the flights as these darts have a rounded end, no flat lip.
I have experimented with various kinds of dart flights, but I have had no success with traditional paper or film flights. Whenever I use them, I struggle to keep them straight, which makes it impossible for me to throw consistent darts. However, I have found that using Condor Axe flights has given me the level of consistency I need. Additionally, since they come with an all-in-one design, I no longer experience issues with flights flying off of the shafts.
I have seen a picture of a guy's Condor Axe flights on a dart without specialty points they where ready for the garbage after just a couple of months. I always use the Mission Sniper ripple points now such a great points in my opinion.
I’m currently running them with the Beau Greaves one80 darts and no problems here. Those one80 darts are extremely well made as you’ve shown over and over. Flight system is like new 🍀
These have saved me so much money, 1 set hasasted a year and 3ish months and yes theyre battered but to be honest theres no need to change as they fly no different

I have one or the other on most of my darts and they absolutely make my L-style or other expensive flights last much longer. Received them yesterday. Had to look for quite a while cos tthey were out of stock nearly on every online shop. I‘m using the Target storm point so I‘m on the safe side 😉. Absolutely amazing! Not only the look (I‘m using the clear version) but the dart has a nice stable line on its way to the board. If you don‘t already own them get them, you won‘t regret it. Have you seen a couple weeks ago a match with Dave Chisnall where his yellow condor axe flights, when making contact with his barrels, were coming off in chunks. Even the commentators mentioned it. Chunks of yellow plastic on the board. I use the Daryl Gurney special edition darts with the special points. They are 24g and I have zero issues.
Dave mentioned it in the interview. He paints his Condors yellow. That was the paint falling off. He's a great example of someone that loses a lot of darts on the floor. He needs specialty points

Another good video with some good ideas. I've tried the Condor Zero Stress, but found them to be too bendy, to light and also quite expensive. I then moved to the Harrows Clic System. Which I found to be more rigid, no bend and less expensive. So have stuck with them and have been throwing with them for a while now.
100% agree, Voks Tornado points rule !, always used Target Storm points but cannot find them lately and yet to try RD version as they are quite expensive
Very good video brings it straight to the point!! My first condor set lasted me 10 months and I played A LOT!! Without elimination of that nasty lip they would have landed in the trash way sooner for sure after 1 or 2 months... The way I eliminate the lip is a bit odd tho....Since I play 40mm points there's no storm points in that length available so I simply remove the points and grind the sharp end down with a small angle grinder tool so the end is comparable to one80 darts....I don't grind off much of the material just so it's in a round smooth shape... :) Its a bit of a hustle but I personally don't like the cheap plastic look of the tridents so I don't use them ....In Germany there's a guy that sells stainless steel tridents which I ordered a set from...I am excited to see them on my 40mm points ....🎉
I use 40mm points for most my setups and no one makes 40mm storm points. So I'm forced to used tridents. Even though the tridents don't get chewed up by the spider, I still think the tridents themselves have a very small lip. Have you tested these Condors with brand new tridents before? Any noticeable difference with deflections?
It's crazy to me how many players you see in the club, pub or league NOT using specialty points to remove the lip! In a lot of other sports, it seems people push their equipment to the max. Most darts players will throw their same old setup forever 🙈

These flights are definitely not for everyone. In my opinion they work best when your darts lays in certain angles. Multiple people in my club used them, and the guys who’s darts sit very upright or flat still use them the others switched back to something else. I personally can get massive deflections (even with Tridents) one turn and incredibly tight grouping the next turn. I don’t know what I will get with them.
I just stopped using them because of deflections. I don’t think it’s the lip of dart as I have storm points. I just think that if your dart is coming in close to the other darts, the the top of the flight is catching the bottom of the other flight and it will spring off. Just switched back to regular flight and Stem with no ring and it’s night and day difference. Any resistance to the flight with this set up and the flight will just pop off with the dart most likely continuing into the board. It’s too bad because I liked the condor axe.
These yellow ones are the best much much better then cuesoul these are the best ever made us if when they are busted use a lighter and you can shape them again and dont forget Kim Huybrechts his personal black condors❤❤❤ i love the condor axe fluos

Yes but them nose cone special points snap i had the harrows apex ridge and one snapped hitting the wire and may snap on the floor too so you can't use your darts then
I have used the Trident for some time, and will try the Condor Guards soon when I get them, I have read some people say they have slighter better material, last maybe a bit longer than the Trident that was giving up earlier.... True or not, I don't know but will try the Condors soon!
Do you see any problem with using a soft tip barrel with a conversion point full time as a steel tip? This can make for a very smooth transition dart with no lip, and tips are easily replaceable. Would it teach bad throwing habits? Would you stand at soft tip distance from the board or steel tip distance? Or is it just a dumb idea altogether?
Don't see how they could do that but I know L-Style is releasing a Condor type flight soon. That might be an option for those left that still use spinners
I've got three days of Condor Axe flights and they're already horribly damaged. In your opinion, is it still worth using them or should I go back to the classic nylon shafts and flights (what do you recommend and whether or not I should punch flights). Just got 3 sets of condors. 2 standard ones and one with the smaller flight shape. They also came up with a slim version, have you tried any variation of the condors or just the standard size?

The only reason I use Condor is because of how fast they travel to the board. Imo they're faster than any other flights I've ever used and that makes them forgiving with my throw caused by dartitis
I literaly bought my First condor flights yesterday^^ But i have I question, because im using the mikuru suzuki Jadeite Darts and they have These rings on the back of the point so you have more grip if you are Holding your dart with one fibger on the point. So the question is, do you know if there is a specialty point out there that doesn't rip my condors and has these rings? And thx for your awesome videos! Please continue😊
Where do you normally purchase your condor axe from managed to get one set to try from darts corner but most the time like you said a lot are out of stock in several lengths and shapes but since using them have found a slightly flatter and quick delivery to the board anyone else find that and cause I use currently snakebite 3 darts have got a speciality point fitted to help with the longevity

It's so obvious information, don't know why isn't well known. But be honest, a simple nylon shaft with a titan ring and a cheap flight could be extremely durable if your barrels haven't got lips. 😉
In my opinion it's the most important tip about darts! Eliminate the barrel lip and you'll experience a massive improvement in your dart game :)

Already using trident points. Make a huge difference overall.

Tridents definitely help but they don't keep their shape all that well. They do work great on longer points though.
Play with a normal shaft flight and you are set 😃

I found a bunch of these types of shirts on Amazon USA. I think I paid $17 for it. Sure beats paying $40 for the same dart specific jersey

Deflections are going to be an issue for some people for sure.

I play soft tip mostly. Im just thinking the stem will break on the AXEs from hitting a hard floor

I use the extra short stem's WWD for some reason there hard to get only certain manufacturers do them

For about a year I used soft tip darts with a conversion point. Threw some of my all time best darts with them
It would be interesting to see a spinner-type version of these.

I never recommend molded flights if your darts have a lip on the front end. Yours obviously has it

Should also add im mostly using XQ max MVGs. Its not exactly the biggest lip, but you think its worth getting rid of I will give it a shot
Yes absolutely. I personally think it's one of the most simple things someone can do to improve their game. It makes a HUGE difference imo.
