  • Jeep JL 2 Door Goose-Gear Install
    In this video I show you how to install the Goose-Gear rear seat delete and platform system for the 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL 2 Door.
    This is my first UA-cam video. I plan on creating many more with installs, off-roading, over landing, road trips, etc. Don't mind the missing passenger side seat, I am also in the middle of mounting PRP seats.

      @Wobblenuts  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the love. Archer is roughly 85lbs and I think it’s safe to say I could have fit another dog back there about half his size. You get a pretty decent amount of room with the floor installed. Plus it’s nice being a flat surface.

    • @Wobblenuts
      @Wobblenuts  3 роки тому

      Looking at where goose gear put the mounting holes, I would wager that yes you can access it once the draw is open. I’d ask them to be sure, but I don’t see it as being an issue.

  • @randomstuff3672
    @randomstuff3672 3 роки тому +4

    Serious question - what advantage does this have over simply removing the rear seat? Looks like I’d lose my D-Ring tie downs, I’d have less access to my storage compartment and I’d need a tool to get to my jack. Additionally, my dogs need carpeting to keep from sliding everywhere. Great video and clearly a quality product but what am I missing?

    • @Wobblenuts
      @Wobblenuts  3 роки тому +2

      The biggest advantage is going to be the recessed/tapped holes to mount different accessories. You can mount rail based storage systems, a fridge, and they also sell d rings that you can mount to the floor. When I removed the rear seat I was never really content with the look of it. I kept it out permanently, so I wanted a more permanent look if that makes sense. I will admit when I had my dog back there I used my rugged ridge rear cargo liner as well.
