New subscriber here. Like all the content that is local to me. I'm between 138 and 395. I like the storage room in the newer models. If I ever upgrade I definitely will be installing the goose storage. My two over land projects have limited products available so I have to watch videos like yours for ideas to transfer into my older Jeep's. Still catching up on your videos keep them coming.
@@395jnky working on my YJ to finish up a nice night of night wheeling. Right here at the overlook where you can see the 138 and 15. We all put lights on for a reason and tonight is one of those nights. Take care fellow off roader 🤙
Yeah, everyone loves that neighbor...only if they loved everyone coming over for a quick question which turns into them leading the job. I always make sure to keep him beer’d up🤣😅😂😎. Nice build.
LOL. Right?!?! And I definitely keep a cold one or two or three ready for him at all times...depending on the extent of the "help" I Need. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
No problem. As far as weight goes it really is insignificant if any weight was added at all. By the time you remove both seats (60/40) I'm not sure it is any add weight. If it is heavier, it is so insignificant there is no impact on gas milage. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video. I just ordered the platform and 60% plate as well. Didn’t opt for the cubbies. My question is did you have to order the side plate for the passenger side on the 60% platform or does it come with it?
Yes I did. But, it wasn't that big of deal...I don't ever plan on running around without the fridge, so the holes will never be exposed....Hope the install went well.
@@395jnky, it went ok. We didn't buy the cubbies, so we had to do some plastic trimming in the back, and we will have to take the platform back out to put the t-nuts in for the fridge slide. But, it'll be worth it. Thanks so much for replying!!!
Thanks Troy for watching and for the comment. The other platform was just a homemade one, that I made from plywood. Took about 3 hours of cutting and taping cardboard together to make a template. Good little weekend project. Happy Trails
Nice video! What fridge are you fitting in behind the single seat there? I’m wondering how big I can go with a dometic... quite like to look of the new cfx3 55!
Hi Megan. Thanks watching and leaving a comment. The install really wasn't too bad! With enough time and patience, I'll bet you can! Nevertheless there are quite a few Goose Gear dealers out there that I'm certain will be happy to do the install for you. Happy Trails!!!
Hi, I am from Japan and would like to know which dealer that you purchase your goose gear system from? I am going to import it by fright fowarder. Please assist me to get one.
The side cubbies and platform bottom for the rear and pass side was about $2k. So far it is holding up amazing and just as good as the day I installed it...Money well spent.
thank for taking the time to show the install, just got the rest today installing now. cheers . Fabian
No problem Fabian. I saw your post on FB and IG, it turned out great!!!! Happy Trails!!!
looks great so much storage

One of the best purchases I've made...I love this system...
Yes...Really made all the space more usable. Thanks for the comment!
Looks great man! Thanks for the video
I would like to see how you installed your fridge with the goose gear system
Wow that looks super clean and really looks amazing.
Thanks Bret!
Nice install...looks sturdy as hell..👍
It is! Goose Gear really put a lot of thought into this product and it shows!
Great install video my man...just subscribed. 👍👊
Thanks for the sub Booby. I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment. Happy Trails!!!

Can you add the cubbies after you add the platform?
Great job on the details of the install. Thanks
No problem 👍 Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the video, How much weight did you add with this? can you tell the difference in gas mileage?
No problem. As far as weight goes it really is insignificant if any weight was added at all. By the time you remove both seats (60/40) I'm not sure it is any add weight. If it is heavier, it is so insignificant there is no impact on gas milage. Thanks for watching.
how bad did it sag your rear suspension? and was it alot more on that passenger side?
Didn't really notice any sag from the GG. specially by the time you lose the weight from the seats.
@@395jnky ahh gotcha. Haven't down the seat delete yet. Thank you
Looks good man! Tons of room.
Misfit JLU thanks! I’m a big fan of how it turned out. Headed out this weekend to test out the new organization!
Thanks for the video. I just ordered the platform and 60% plate as well. Didn’t opt for the cubbies. My question is did you have to order the side plate for the passenger side on the 60% platform or does it come with it?
Hi Clinton. Thanks for the comment. You do need to order that part separately. Take care
We are installing the same GG system this weekend without the cubbies. Did you have to drill any new holes to put your Dometic fridge slide in?
Yes I did. But, it wasn't that big of deal...I don't ever plan on running around without the fridge, so the holes will never be exposed....Hope the install went well.

Awesome video...looks great! What was the other platform that you were using and uninstalled before putting in the goose gear setup?

Thanks Jason. I have the Dometic CFX40. Love it!
Like what you’ve done ✅
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really want to buy and install this kit but not sure if I can do this myself lol 😂

whats the cost of something like that?

Looking good.
When I saw the title I thought you were doing an install on your wife's Jeep. LOL
LOL...
Guess that's made of wood?
Yes...and then line-x'd.
Bud light? Really? Down stream beer at best!
Some habits are too tough to break. Love me a nice IPA, but Bud Light will always be my go to when its time to crush some beers!
