I have been to hundreds of concerts over the years but never seen Simply Red. I heard that Manchester United fan Mick was late on stage once because he was watching the Champions League final in 1999 which of course gave Man Utd the treble!! 🤭😁🎧🏴🏴🎸🎼

I can still remember to this day,the first play of "something got me started",on the saturday morning chart show,
which at the time, was one of the few ways, to see new videos on terrestrial tv.
You just knew from the start with that first single, the album was going to be their defining moment...and it was!
Mick is simply one of the sexiest man alive...

I've loved Mick Hucknall/Simply Red since there first album came out Picture Book back in 1985🤔 played it too death (and following albums) Been lucky enough to see Simply Red a few times in concert...First time I was 29 years old and very pregnant I wore a bright red dress and was dancing💃🏻 on a divide wall at Old Trafford Cricket ground Manchester UK, security were having kittens 😂 2nd n 3rd time I saw them was in my 50s Mick did not disappoint 😁🥰 I'm 60 now n dancing round my living room listening to this like a Happy young thing 😃💃🏻🥰

Saw Simply Red at a jazz festival in San Diego. One of the promoters was a smooth jazz radio station. So a portion of the audience was there for the more toned down acts. Simply Red came in hot. Some people left. Too bad. Simply Red put on an awesome show.
