To all the TTA family and for everyone that is new to the channel,I love you guys wholeheartedly!!! the reason why I went outside in the beginning with KAREN,is because the cop was physically,slightly,guiding me toward the door with his hand..(both times)If I instantly stop walking,all he has to do is say,I backed into him,or stepped on his foot,and then he can claim I assaulted him..this is chess not checkers..you have to think 3 moves ahead of the enemy..you don't have to get in a physical altercation or resist,all we have to do is get these people on camera admitting to violating civil rights,and thats when we file complaints...(Secretary Of State police Springfield Illinois 217-782-7126)
Just a suggestion, when they ask you to step outside, do not. It's an old tactic that they're trying to get you out of your comfort zone. Stand firm, stand strong.

Personally, I think he gets far more information, esp by the higher-ups, when he does step outside. If he remained inside, he's more likely to be arrested and viewers wouldn't have the benefit of hearing what the higher-ups have to say.... And would miss the opportunity for them to be educated. Getting arrested is not the goal. Educating these officials is the point.

I think cops should be required to go to law school with a minor in sociology and a constant psychological evaluation annually. Invest in your career with educational requirements and minimal standards, especially with ones that carry a high probability of killing someone and enforcing the law.

That Sargent is a piece of work for a lack of a better word. He should NOT be in any type of law either, let alone a supervisor. He's a disgusting tyrant, and needs to be held accountable for the unprofessional manner in which he conducted himself. And the karen needs to be fired for being completely ignorant. This "personal information" line really gets me. A list by state of every voters' name, address, which elections they've participated in and primary party ballot is available for anyone, including foreign entities. Hell, in the early 90s my county was the first county to scan and post every document used by someone to purchase a property/home. This includes the countless pages of documents requiring a home purchaser's signature and SS# used by a bank to generate and secure a mortgage for a property. I had my identity stolen and it was determined the county's property deeds website was used to obtain ALL of my information, including my DL #, SS#, monthly mortgage amount and through which bank, and a copy of my personal check used for the down payment. While "protecting one's 'private' info" from being filmed may sound nice in theory, it's my own county govt that allows anyone with internet access to see it.

And yes, in every state anyone can request (in some states) or access online (in others) all voters' names and addresses, what party they are registered under (or independent), the last primary they voted in, the last time they actively voted and so on. And guess what? Citizen members of the regular ol' public can REQUEST and RECEIVE a LOT, a TON, a HUGE AMOUNT of all kinds of information from city, county, state AND federal government agencies, divisions, departments, offices, bureaus, commissions, law enforcement, courts, etc. any time they want to...INCLUDING the names, titles, salaries, employment records, disciplinary actions, complaints and so on for INDIVIDUAL government public servants. And if they don't like it, they are working in the WRONG jobs...THEY work for US because WE pay them and for what their (OUR) part of government they work in DOES. Looking into state information request laws by state and also FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) federal law which COVERS all 50 states is GOOD INFORMATION to know and be able to recite to a government goon who is on a power trip OR is woefully ignorant of such laws/legal rights.

Most of these DMV people are so ignorant. They fail to realize is that their job to create the privacy for people's personal information. As a journalist you can record anything you can see from the public.
They are officially a part of the ruling class and have every right to treat anyone not associated with the Cabal, like peasants. It was written into the constitution a few years ago in a backroom of the Supreme Court under a cloak and dagger operation around midnight.
I don't necessarily blame the DMV employees. They are only doing what they've been told by LEOs and/or their bosses. Most people aren't going to have a showdown with their boss over a disagreement like this. It's law enforcement that has failed these DMV employees, imho.

Police can ONLY enforce LAWS, lawfully...anything ELSE they do is UN-lawful and if they DO IT...then THEY are breaking the law and it probably won't go well for THEM later, whether they think they'll be okay or not. See how it works, how simple, common sense and logical it is? Most cops are SLOW ON THE UPTAKE when it comes to LEARNING SOMETHING, getting BETTER at their jobs, IMPROVING HOW THEY DO THINGS to BETTER serve themselves AND the public. It's a stubbornness, ego, arrogance, control, tyrant thing with cops...THEY are their own worst enemies, and bad cops are any good cop's WORST nightmare. All good cops can thank a bad cop for all of the hate they are also racking up against THEM because of every bad cop's unprofessional, power-tripping, abusive, bullying, often illegal behavior and attitude. Good cops, you NEED TO REPORT ALL ABUSES of the law, authority/position or peoples' rights EVERY TIME you witness it happen. Lieutenants, Captains and Internal Affairs Investigators need to be made aware of what you saw that was NOT right, that was UNnecessary, that shouldn't have been pushed or escalated and didn't warrant arresting someone or detaining them in cuffs, in a patrol car, or forcing someone to ID when there WAS NO legal reason fot it (no ras, no suspected crime).

What that officer doesn't understand is once they rent a facility for a state business. It simply becomes public accessible arias especially in the waiting area of the facility, plus all commonareas. You just simply need to ask him what hes gonna do when you enter. That's as simple as that. Then it should light a fire underneath him to actually do something or have someone to show up.

The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals was the last circuit court to rule that citizens have to right to record their public officials in the course of their duties. That was in July of 2022. They ruled that based on Supreme Court rulings that the citizens have the right to record their public officials in the course of their duties. These public officials need a lawsuit to teach them the actual limits of their duties.

The security officer gave you an opportunity to inform him that because he is infringing on your Constitutional rights that you can have his badge, his pension and he will never be able to work as a law officer / security guard. Because you will sue for violating your 1st Amendment rights and he is not a policy enforcer, he needs to be a law enforcer! Because Policy DOES NOT Trump Constitution!!!! Point Blank Period!
To put the SGT. mind at ease, simply tell him that if he gets a complaint that you are video taping someone's private information that you'd be willing to show him your video footage that will clearly show that whatever that complaint is about your camera will show otherwise!
Foia all the cameras in the public places in the building and put them on line.
