Gran Turismo: Spa Francorchamps Out of Bounds - *Historic Spa Sections*
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 жов 2024
- Welcome to Spa Francorchamps, a circuit which opened all the way back in 1921, and made its debut on Gran Turismo some 90 years later, as downloadable content on Gran Turismo 5.
Today, we'll be taking a look at the circuit in a way that it's never been seen before on GT5. We'll be taking the camera out of bounds and discovering what lies beyond the circuit itself.
As always, I hope you enjoy watching the video as much as I've enjoyed making it.

Genuinely awesome to see that it's actually possible to go inside the Rouge building with it actually being somewhat "detailed". The sunlight hitting the floor through the dome in the roof was actually kind of mind blowing
I've been really enjoying these gran turismo secrets/Easter egg videos
Keep up the good work matt
I've been to Spa and spent a whole day exploring on foot. I'm surprised it's so accurate in the game. Thanks for the video. I love Spa. Like many, it's my favorite track ever.
Did you get to try the food at the croissant, waffle, and ice cream shack?
@@SaabEJ I did went for a snack in one of the shacks near the track. It's not the best though. You'll find much better waffles, fries and ice cream elsewhere. But they do still exist. At least one of them near the entrance.
The paddock section is really realistic, he looks like reality bro
I'm glad Project Cars lets us run the old layout.
Shame the Spa karting circuit wasn't in PC though.
It was, but under a different name and scenario, it had a huge rock wall on the left instead of the circuit, like it was in mountain. Tricky fun track
@@lorenzodicosmo2708 I found out it's called Greenwood Karting circuit, I think I drove it in one of the manufacturer events once, real fun for sure.
Excellent work my friend! The "red water" is most likely because of high iron content in the creek bed & possibly a certain minnow which graces the stream
Love these, thanks for doing the detailed behind the scenes GT5 videos with all the extra info
One thing that would be worth along the track itself could be that Karting course, since well... they have the PDI Karts, and even if was the last hurrah before GT6, would be worth to race in Senna's, regular, or the Red Bull karts
I wonder how much it is to license the karting part of Spa since devs already say the main course is already expensive as is, I can't imagine the fees with adding every circuit from Spa.
@@TheFurryInShambles ah, no wonder they don't add the 'Curcuit du Bugatti' sector of the La Sarthe.
Let alone the 'Maison Blanche' course before the grand stand area.
I was thinking the same thing! I guess it would've been really expensive to acquire the license to use the kart track. A shame but understandable.
Hey Matt i was wondering if you checked with this debug camera the two track of Tokyo, the ones who's Always at night ? Because on gt6 when i looked at those like office building it look like theirs interiors are modeled and maybe you Can find something interesting, idk if it is the case on GT5 but it's still intriguing
(Sorry if my english is Bad)
Can you do brands hatch next? It’s in gt6 and so on. Love your vids I’m a massive Gran turismo fan.
Wake up babe new gt lore just dropped
I think the dissapearing buildings are just from an incorrectly setup culling zone, not that it would be noticed anyway, so no one bothered fixing it.
It would've been cool if Polyphony actually made the kart track playable. Missed opportunity if you ask me.
kinda impressive they put a bit more detail into the outside of the track than I thought
6:20 this section was used during WRC rally
Your "out of bounds" videos is turning into my favourite series in this channel, after following you for over 7+ years at this point.
I remember back when I was still young playing GT2 I always wondered how the world beyond the crash barrier looked like. I would pretend one of the houses in Grindelwald (I think that's how it was spelt? Haven't played the game in decades) to be my house and I would pretend "going home" after racing by parking my car near "my house".
Same with GT4, its photo mode was a blessing, I would spend hours just "walking around" with the camera imagining myself being there. My favourite one was the Marunouchi (again, spelling), I lived at the countryside back then so seeing a man-made structure that massive was unreal to me.
Of course, that's not how you're supposed to play Gran Turismo, but hey, it was fun, and it's good to take a break from the racing once in a while.
These out of bounds video are like a dream come true for me, after 20 years later of course.
thats really nice
I wonder how they did model and how much of the old Österreichring (Red Bull Ring now). Irl the old Flatschach section (when you go straight instead of taking the current 1st corner)
there's a kart track at spa too.
Well committed for areas wasn't supposed to be driven around at all.
Have you checked the House on the left of eau rouge? Just to see how they watch the circuit from there hahahah
I would love to see Daytona next.
Could you do nurburgring nordschife next
Very cool video, the karting track has been updated and changed a bit since this lay-out. The small pitboxes are no longer there and the restaurant has a bigger deck in front and most importantly there is a monster kerb chicane added in front of the restaurant.
Why does the kart course look like motor sports land from gt2?
Spa, my favorite track of all time
also one of the few tracks I got gold on in Gran Turismo 7
That kart layout is really similar to the one in the stadium - I forget what it's called.
GT Arena?
I wish this was possible in GT7.
It is possible there's a channel that show this develop camera on the ps4 gran turismo games

Interesting
You should do special stage route 5 or 7 next
I'm too early
I thought this was only in GT6 and later
It was part of the dlc track pack with Kart Space 1/2, though it's better in GT6 and onwards since there is actual events for it that isn't in the online portion of the game only.
song id?
Great even the grandstand is pretty accurate, underneath is just a car park. Also the gas station is used to refuel in smaller racing series which looks pretty cool
