You need to read Joanne Fluke's Hannah Swenson books. Hannah is a baker who has her own shop in a small town in MN. Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder is the first book on that series. So cozy.

Yay for Poirot! He’s so enjoyable. The best TV/movie version is David Suchet by far. 🥰 If you can find the audiobooks read by the man who plays Hastings in the show-Hugh Fraser-they’re wonderful. There are a few read by David Suchet himself too that are fabulous!

The Hamish MacBeth series by MC Beaton is really good but I would definitely start with book 1 ("Death of a Gossip"). Beaton also writes the Agatha Raisin series (Book 1 is The Quiche of Death) are MUST READS!!! Another series I think you would REALLY enjoy is the "Juniper Grove" books. The first is called "Death of a Dead Man. EXCELLENT series with great characters and interesting plots!!

Hey Ann Marie just wanted to let u know that your recommendations r on point once again. First it was the Color Series by Krista Davis which was so freaking good. I just finished another Body and Soul Food and Soul of A Killer by Abby Collette although I loved Soul of A Kliier more they both were really good. I love Koby so much he's sweet, smart and compassionate, Keaton is lovable but dingy imo. Now I'm off to stalk your previous videos to find more great cozy mysteries. Keep up the good work. 👍🏽

Hi Amy. My list of serious I want to start is so long I can barely even keep track. Some are ones on your list . I listened to the first in the Caribbean kitchen series and I really liked it. The mother-in-law was a piece of work. One negative though was when they spoke Spanish there was no interpretation. I really would’ve enjoyed to understand better what they were saying. I absolutely love the coffeehouse series. I saw there was a negative comment about it and I can understand the vibe from the time the series starts, but the characters evolve so much and just the whole coffee theme is phenomenal. I hope you give it a try and reading a few in order to make your decision. I am current on that series. Happy reading. ~Mary

The Hat Shop series is good - I am looking forward to the new one. My favorite classic mystery detective varies (although it is usually Miss Marple) but I really love Roderick Alleyn by Ngaio Marsh. (Sorry this is a bit disjointed - I am popping in comments as I watch.) I kept pausing to check out these series on Amazon and was surprised at how many I own - time to start reading!

I very recently DNF book 2 in the coffee House series, I found this series has a lot of early 2000s negative stereotype. I could just kind of ignore them in book 1 but in book 2 The main character basically scream at a guy for being bisexual. I wish the books didn’t have that because otherwise the vibes were amazing and they would’ve been 5 stars

Food can be a negative yes the literal food we eat because it can lead us uncontrolled him without moderation to something called gluttony gluttony can also apply to alcoholic beverages will become so interested in by being in the feeling that a gift that we have no self-control so glad this behavior is a negative in the scripture food is what we need to have we need it for a body to function but overindulges overindulgence is the difficulty the same with spirit to some people call them or beverages of an alcoholic nature if you are an American and you say go to Paris children inIn France drink wine they water it down their parents water it down but they drink wine it’s a different culture so the power of how people feel about certain things when something can be attained we have to understand and consider the power of what the scripture say we can never moderate what the scripture say by what men say we must follow what the Lord tells us and this is to do with the call to eternal life
