For me it is because lore-wise, the imposters are still there even if tasks are complete so...is it really a crew victory? With the exception of the reactor and o2 sabs there is nothing on the task list that is life-threatening if not done immediately. I think finding the imposters is more important than some meaning less tasks. In other words I RP among us, even when nobody else is. Works too. Harder to "catch me" faking tasks as imposter if I also fake tasks a crew. What's the difference? There isn't one. Sure, this gets me kicked from random lobbies but who cares about those?

Valkyrae is extremely scary as crewmate. She identifies impostors a lot, and quickly. Her instincts are something to behold. Then the lobby ignores her and she starts doubting herself. "Is my mic on?" 😂 I think her biggest weakness is her inability to properly express why she thinks someone may be impostor.

The problem with sykkuno is that in most lobbies he would get voted out 99.9% of the time with his trolling playstyle regardless if he was impostor or not, it just works in the lobby because they know him

Hafu is a psychopath if it comes to Among us. She is in a 50/50 and so freakin calm like she knows she can talk the other person to vote for her benefit. Hafu would be easy an S tier for me.
He has one of the most unique playstyle out of all other Among Us streamers/players and i think that's why more people are coming to his stream. He used to have one of the most predictable meta in their lobby, now he changed it and it is literally making him invisible most of the time and is making the lobby much more entertaining. I mean everyone would be tired of the very-serious playstyles so we have guys like Sykkuno making the game much funnier. He also technically isn't bad, even Toast put him on A tier, he just wants to look like one. Most of the time, he has the right sus with the right player but chooses not to pursue cz it wouldn't be fun if everyone's a smart ass in the lobby
The problem with Nogla is that, he's probably the most voted out person when he plays. Imposter or not, he either annoys them or they just do it for fun

Corpse manages to sound extremely calm when he's impostor and make everyone believe him even when he admits he's impostor or gets called out by someone who just saw him kill or vent. He's always really believable and makes insane plays, usually in the dark and then leaves by venting or just walking out and letting the ones who were in the room fight amongst themselves and accuse each other. He always kills the ones who should be killed to prove himself innocent and then kill next to the person who was sus, then report and blame it on them. And then every time he finishes a round as an impostor he admits he was actually super scared even if you wouldnt even think that could be the case from how composed he sounds.
Corpse's tell is how much more aggressive he is at accusing people when he's imposter. But he makes up for it by still somehow managing to convince everyone that he's right.
Sean’s weakness is whenever Felix is around. Felix can sniff out his lies like a bloodhound, he hears liar voice. Whoa, I have more likes than Mr Cr1tikal?! Thanks guys!

Jasmine Williams Yeah, that’s true. Felix is one of my favorite gamers, and I think he’s a pretty good imposter, but I’ll admit he’s really not good at being crewmate. He always ends up being third imposter because he immediately picks out who he thinks it is and will build his story around that whether it’s realistic or not. And A LOT of the time, the person he does it with is Jack😂 He’s still very fun to watch as imposter though lol.
Katarina Post I’ve always been confused how poki does so well so often, she has such obvious tells, her whole attitude and the way she plays is different, when she’s innocent she always talks and has valid accusations, when she’s innocent she NEVER talks and when she does she throws random accusations and jumps on anyone else’s evidence, during arguments she switches sides 8 times just gaslighting😂 it’s funny cause pewdiepie is the only one that reads her, and that’s the only time he’s not confused😂🤣

how come nobody’s talking about rae? she’s a really great impostor when she’s serious and not really trolling. she’s gotten so much better at lying in the game and does really clean (but sometimes risky like charlie said) kills. she’s also sooo underrated as a crewmate, she’s so good at picking out little details that everyone else might’ve missed and always had a good alibi when she IS impostor. hafu and rae would be such an iconic duo

Sykkuno is the wild card he is an imposter. No one can tell if he is lying or not, his explanations and reasonings are like a double-edged sword, which puts him at a disadvantage at some games. And there's one thing about Sykkuno that no one can beat him at: his luck

I mean, there were times someone said that they saw X kill someone, noone was voted and X was killed that round, which means that the person X accused was an impostor 100% (Since they got killed, which means they were crewmate, which then means they literally have no reason to lie about SEEING someone kill) and Sykunno still trusts the person that got accused by X. Or very recently, he saw Syd vent, he actually acknowledged it on stream (Like "Wait she vented!!"), ran around like a maniac yelling "I HAVE TO GET TO THE BUTTON PLS DON'T KILL ME SYDNEY", actually managed to reach the button and all Sydney said was "No i didn't vent" and he no joke said "Oh then someone else must've vented". He literally saw her coming out of a vent and confirmed it by yelling it out all the way to the button and Sydney still made him believe he was wrong. Sykunno is a good player, most of the time he is right and when he's impostor he get's on some nasty killing sprees. But his main weakness, a weakness that is getting so bad to a point I feel like he should talk to a psychiatrist(overexaggerated, it's nothing clinical. But it's really noticable to a point you kinda worry about him), is that he has literally NEGATIVE confidence.
Toast and Corpse are going to be the ultimate combo. Toast baited Rae into confessing that she was an impostor but Toast didn't even see it. Corpse convinces people no matter what, everything he says it's like it's always true. No one can tell if he's lying.
They're not that compatible, Corpse likes to win as fast and easy as possible, Toast likes to create confusion and chaos so most of the time he goes for the long con.

Trainwreck and Ludwig combined are the only ones to stop Toast. Poki is becoming better at sniffing Toast. xQc destroys toast - he causes so much chaos and confusion and somehow forces everyone to vote on toast, wether he's right or wrong - xQc will make sure toast is always dead if he feels toast is sus.

He's one of the few imposters who has tricked the lobby that there was a double kill or that there were two imposters left because of the pile of bodies he killed. I know some streamers who were ghosts are shocked to see it when they follow him.

Someone I haven't seen be talked about is Nux Taku. From what I've seen, he's a pretty good impostor, but he is an AMAZING crewmate. He's able to tell who the impostor is based ONLY on the subtleties of their voice. He can read the tells that nobody else even realizes are tells, even the impostors themselves.
Corpse Husband is the best imposter in my opinion... He just killes everyone and convinces everyone that it wasn't him. Then he begins playing Among Us

one of rae's biggest tells as impostor is that she never votes on seven. when she's crewmate she'll be like "I DONT CARE", also she's way more aggressive as crewmate and not afraid to call people out.

Many people are viable her but I feel like the four above are indisputed champs at the game I agree that Valkyrae has serious tells that hurt her as imposter. She’s also too aggressive sometimes and people see it as suspicious.
@Hanif Ibn Ishmael You do realize that just about everyone ranks Among Us players by who they watch/enjoy the most, right? I don’t watch Train much but he also deserves mention I’m sure. 5up gets sussed out a lot because he goes for crazy clips and everyone knows that. He still has my favorite clips on UA-cam (besides Toast) regardless. Corpse’s unreadability and charisma still make him an incredibly hard imposter to figure out and he’s definitely a top imposter. I have no reason to believe 5up is a worse Imposter than Sykkuno or Valkyrae just because he’s inconsistent. I enjoy high-risk plays and haven’t seen anyone who does it better than Toast and 5up. Don’t watch crew mate perspectives as much because Imposter easily has the most entertainment value. Not sure if he still is, but Greaseball was undefeated in competitive as Imposter for a long time (even if he’s not a genius player) so if you’re ranking Sykkuno as number TWO imposter for his win rate then you have to keep Charlie in consideration as well. Corpse is definitely not an average player lmao, you’re trippin and you must be annoyed by him to say that. Either way until a definitive ranked mode comes out it’s all pure conjecture.

I probably don’t watch enough Valkyrae to have an opinion on her but 5up is the only other imposter that has impressed me as much as Toast with his creativity. I think most would disagree that Corpse is an “average” player when even other pros are unsure how to read him. The fact that he can claim to be imposter and people are still not sure is nothing short of hilarious. Until there’s a definitive ranked system in the game we really don’t know. I’m sure there are tons of amazing players out there who don’t get the spotlight, the only ones in discussion are the most popular streamers like I said. I agree that Greaseball is not a really smart Among Us player but by the “current” competitive Imposter ranking he’s number one. This game isn’t like the Smash Bros community where there is a tried and true competitive system that can accurately decipher who is the best, we’ll have to wait until that happens in the future and I guarantee some nobodies will come up as the best of the best.

"Is my mic on?" 😂 I think her biggest weakness is her inability to properly express why she thinks someone may be impostor.

Lol yeah he’s always panicking in his videos but if you watch anyone else, he’s pretty good and good at hiding it.
Corpse manages to sound extremely calm when he's impostor and make everyone believe him even when he admits he's impostor or gets called out by someone who just saw him kill or vent. He's always really believable and makes insane plays, usually in the dark and then leaves by venting or just walking out and letting the ones who were in the room fight amongst themselves and accuse each other. He always kills the ones who should be killed to prove himself innocent and then kill next to the person who was sus, then report and blame it on them. And then every time he finishes a round as an impostor he admits he was actually super scared even if you wouldnt even think that could be the case from how composed he sounds.

Someone I haven't seen be talked about is Nux Taku. From what I've seen, he's a pretty good impostor, but he is an AMAZING crewmate. He's able to tell who the impostor is based ONLY on the subtleties of their voice. He can read the tells that nobody else even realizes are tells, even the impostors themselves.

I agree that Valkyrae has serious tells that hurt her as imposter. She’s also too aggressive sometimes and people see it as suspicious.
@Hanif Ibn Ishmael You do realize that just about everyone ranks Among Us players by who they watch/enjoy the most, right? I don’t watch Train much but he also deserves mention I’m sure. 5up gets sussed out a lot because he goes for crazy clips and everyone knows that. He still has my favorite clips on UA-cam (besides Toast) regardless. Corpse’s unreadability and charisma still make him an incredibly hard imposter to figure out and he’s definitely a top imposter. I have no reason to believe 5up is a worse Imposter than Sykkuno or Valkyrae just because he’s inconsistent. I enjoy high-risk plays and haven’t seen anyone who does it better than Toast and 5up. Don’t watch crew mate perspectives as much because Imposter easily has the most entertainment value. Not sure if he still is, but Greaseball was undefeated in competitive as Imposter for a long time (even if he’s not a genius player) so if you’re ranking Sykkuno as number TWO imposter for his win rate then you have to keep Charlie in consideration as well. Corpse is definitely not an average player lmao, you’re trippin and you must be annoyed by him to say that. Either way until a definitive ranked mode comes out it’s all pure conjecture.

I probably don’t watch enough Valkyrae to have an opinion on her but 5up is the only other imposter that has impressed me as much as Toast with his creativity. I think most would disagree that Corpse is an “average” player when even other pros are unsure how to read him. The fact that he can claim to be imposter and people are still not sure is nothing short of hilarious. Until there’s a definitive ranked system in the game we really don’t know. I’m sure there are tons of amazing players out there who don’t get the spotlight, the only ones in discussion are the most popular streamers like I said. I agree that Greaseball is not a really smart Among Us player but by the “current” competitive Imposter ranking he’s number one. This game isn’t like the Smash Bros community where there is a tried and true competitive system that can accurately decipher who is the best, we’ll have to wait until that happens in the future and I guarantee some nobodies will come up as the best of the best.

Charisma & Voice aside- he makes _insane_ kills. He’s like a ninja & no one knows what or how a death just occurred.
He’s so fast, he pops up & leaves before anyone can even say _“oh.”_
He once killed someone in a room full of five other people & no one ever even saw him or suspected him; they all just thought it had to be one of those five the entirety of the game.
His vent kills are _legendarily_ known for making someone else seem guilty & himself seem far away & clear.
