Hi Vijestiistine wow I’ve never ran into that problem. I just told tell them the yr model and they sent me the correct one Sorry brother I don’t know. thank you for watching. I really appreciate you.
Nice video. If the brakes have been changed but the sensor is bad later down the road should I be worried about the sensor telling. Correct amount of mileage for pad replacement?
Hi Poverty no, you will be fine just reset the brake light and the new sensor will warn you when your brake pads need to be replaced and it’ll do that by rubbing on the rotor …………The sensor connects near the brake pad very close to the rotor. Once the brake pad wears down past a certain point, the rotor will start rubbing up against the sensor Eventually causing the brake wear indicator to light up on the dashboard. Hope that helps you thank you for watching. I really appreciate you.
@@Marty09933 I have question Marty, Do brake pads need to be specifically placed in caliper according to the sensor, I tried doing this at work and the sensor was too small for the brake pad
Hi Bussheadchoppa sorry to hear that brother just organize them where they won’t be rubbing on anything and use zip ties to keep them from rubbing on anything hope that helps and thank you for watching. I really appreciate you.
@@bussheadchoppa7184 check the dust plate behind the rotor. It’s real common when people work on their brakes those covers get bent and then they’re hitting the rotor. Just been it back and that should take care of it.
