lol, me and my mom (and one of my little cousins recently) have baby pictures with a version of this hairstyle 😂 I'm laughing semi out loud because me and mom joked about my grams doing this to our hair. She's not the best at doing hair, and no one (when me and my mom were growing up) could understand the hairstyle so it was deemed odd. I Am SHOOK. This is beautiful! I've never in my life saw anyone else do This, and I'm from lil ole South Carolina. You guys do this better than my grams that's for sure. I'll definitely keep up the tradition now and I MUST research more about these styles (you've piqued my interest!) SOOO Much LOVE to you guys!💜💜💜 Such a blast from the past!
Edit: Still SHOOK. My mind is blown, mainly because I've been so interested in where my ancestors came from (specific tribes) and have been paying for silly background material from ancestry.com, and even considered (still considering) an African DNA test to see if I could know more about my genetic makeup, and in one video about hair, it's like it just hit me! I saw the thumbnail and was like "that's The Puffball". "That's the family Puffball"- since me and my mom would call it that (humorously and lovingly of course). I am in full shock and possible tears. It's official, I have to research the Fulani tribe now!

I saw your message on someone else page. I love Fulanis! I did a video in Spanish with English subtitles. Where can I get these earrings I thought those earrings where only worn by Fulanis from Gambia, Mali, Senegal, Mail, Guinea-Bissau

Hi! just subscribed! In the USA these ear rings can be found in some African stores. I bought mine while I was in Harlem NY.

I bought the Fulani earrings at an ethnic store in Brooklyn New York but you can find them in many African jewelry stores.

You could even do an afro puff at the top (as a child version of the hairstyle). That's how my grams did my and my mom's hair when we were kids
