    20 years ago a pro I took a lesson from in Myrtle Beach named Brad Redding taught me this laging take away and I played great for a while until You Tube. To much free information ruined my golf swing. You have given me some hope to get back to some simplicity and enjoyment in the game again.

      Like I said in the video, no need to add to it or take from it, just stick with it. If you think you can make it better by something you saw last week on UA-cam and add it to the formula the formula becomes infected. Best way I can explain it because I did the same myself. No more looking no need too, it’s as good as it gets for we the amateur golfers who without us the sport would fold. Thanks wantonjr, just get back to knowing what you knew when you found it.

      I have had sore backs before also Joe but I continue with the journey and this is in my opinion a back saving , bad ass way to actually play golf without the pain. Thanks and I love the north and its ancients also.

    Very good.. That's the same grip and takeaway that Bobby Jones had. Ben Hogan did the same thing but with more force. You're the first person I've seen with Bobby Jones swing. Cheers !

    Bill, I'm 43, took up golf 3 years ago. Went through lessons last year, gained 30 yards on my 7 iron. More lessons this year, gained another 10 yards. Watched this video once and I tried your technique thinking it was a joke and I added 30 yards to my 7 iron and I hit it 190 yards total (175+ carry) , which is unthinkable for me!! I was pissed off when I saw the result and how easy it felt and how straight or even a bit if draw I got on the ball (I'm a fader, big time, so this is a miracle). I did this at the range yesterday and went back today and hit my 5 hybrid (25 degrees) 230 yards! Now I was really furious that I hit the ball so far and effortlessly! This should not work but it does and it works better than anything I've tried in countless hours of practice in lessons. Thank you, I'm devoting the rest of my life to the orbitan swing!! It really does happen on its own and I am feeling so relaxed with a more relaxed grip pressure just knowing that it's going to get back square to the ball. I'm not thinking during my swing anymore; this is freedom!

    • @Wooduck
      @Wooduck  4 місяці тому

      Hey JB, doesn’t surprise me with the results you experienced. Most gain so much more distance with every club in their bag that it’s damn near illegal. A free orbiting club will always move faster than one which changes direction for obvious reasons. You found it out pretty fast as others who understand what is going on with this motion. It’s easy to learn and I believe anyone can do it in less than 10 balls if they have the knowledge to make it happen. Easy on your body as you know because you’re not fighting with the club head changing direction. You can hit it high, low, mid range, draw or fade when you understand the right wrist is the club face, but that’s for those who have played with this for about two weeks and have it ingrain and on automatic. Yep most people get pissed when they spent countless hours on lessons that never worked and countless hours hitting balls just trying to find IT. Well here is everyone’s IT which has been around for years but no one taught it for obvious reasons, they would have gone broke, and it certainly goes against all the crap we have had shoved down our throat by the industry. Now you can say you have been happy pissed and just enjoy what you know works. Just don’t go down more rabbit holes thinking you can make it better, you can’t! Thanks for the report and I’m very happy that another has found what they were looking for that will make playing the game fun. Thanks 🙏

      I would also add that the equipment manufactures would sell a fraction of the clubs that they do if most golfers learned this swing! They would not be constantly upgrading their gear!

      Less than 10 balls will prove you’re right Matt. Now can you keep from adding to it or take away from it? That’s the key leave what you found alone it doesn’t need anything else.

    Hay Bill
    Yes …it does look the old negative loading from the past that worked then and now
    I never did like that term ( negative loading) I thought it felt like a …sling shot or side arm pitcher release
    Like skipping a rock…that’s the feeling I get seeing you demonstrating this hand movement
    How the hands are delivered back to the ball to square up the face is a adventure in the golf swing searching for the right fit
    And this is a good one 👍⛳️👍

    • @Wooduck
      @Wooduck  4 місяці тому

      Thanks Bayou, many people have been brainwashed about the hands and that they are swing wreckers. I say …….well you know what I say. I don’t think it’s negative load either Steve it’s just letting the club travel in the direction it’s wanting to go and not where you want it to go through manipulation. Thanks buddy, shitty weather here right now I’m sure I will be up all night.

    Thanks for the great info. Tried this method yesterday. It some of the best shots of my life - I’m 65. Long and straight. Unfortunately hit quite a few fade/slices. I think I have to wok on quieting my hips when I just swing the club everything works just right. Best of all no back pain.

    • @Wooduck
      @Wooduck  4 місяці тому

      I would say that’s a pretty good result for first time out Bmatt. Think of how good it will get with some reps under your belt. Your right on the hips, they have to act like a brake that prevents the lead shoulder from spinning out too early. You’re on it and sounds like you have the understanding necessary to make it exactly what you expect. Thanks and I always love to hear viewers are finding how simple this motion can be and the benifits it offers.

      It was done before the Count Lugnuty. Look up Joe Norwood. As I’ve said many times there is nothing new it’s just presented in different ways . Back in those days no one understood anything about orbiting the club, negative loading the shaft or cross lateral brake. Now there are a few bringing it back to the public and it’s catching on due to all the new technology we are privileged with. Thanks for the comment and yes I agree he did what I am showing now, nothing new!

    Hey Bub, I’m confused about hands at impact
    Thought the lead wrist was bowed (not cupped) at impact, hands ahead of ball with iron. Am I misunderstanding you at the beginning?

    • @Wooduck
      @Wooduck  4 місяці тому

      How did you set up? If the lead wrist is cupped then it should be cupped at impact. If it isn’t cupped at impact then you haven’t released the lure you just keep pulling the hands through the ball with no zip.

    Bill, I know that you are starting back down with the belly button but how about the takeaway is it shoulders or core? At last, we are starting to get some decent weather,😏 so I can put all your help to the test Thanks again

    • @Wooduck
      @Wooduck  4 місяці тому +1

      I feel my core move which moves my shoulders which trains down to my arms hands and club. That’s what I feel in the sequence I said. I never feel the hands move first if I do I have done it wrong. Just start turning your core and everything follows until you feel the club flip or change ends. When that happens I’m done and I start back to the ball bell button first the the club just does what it wants without any manipulation on my part. Hope that helped, you will find it or I should say it will find you if you just move the way I said and it’s all automatic.

    Hi mate how do you address the ball ie is positioning still the same like hands slightly infront of ball..

    • @Wooduck
      @Wooduck  4 місяці тому +1

      Good question, as long as the lead wrist is cupped at address you will automatically know where the ball goes in the stance with any club you use. It’s that foolproof. For me generally speaking the butt of the club is always pointing at my core or belly. Any leaning of the shaft to try and get the hands ahead of the ball will eliminate the cupped lead wrist.
