Rhaenyra is such a good mother, looking after her kids and making sure theyre fine and loved.

Daemon was preparing Vermithor to bond with a new rider. He was his grandfather's dragon.

Rhaenrya wears Viserys's crown. It was worn by Jahaerys. Aegon wears the Conqueror's crown which was also worn by Maegor.
I love the Conqueror's crown, however, Erryk brought Rhaenrya the right one. I think her wearing the one her dad hand meant more to her personally.
Rhaenys didn’t bend the knee because she didn't want to commit her house to war before consulting the head of her house.
Great point! With that perspective it definitely makes a whole lot of sense why she woundn't bend the knee.
They left out a scene from the book. The reason Aemond went after Luke was one of the Baratheon girls goaded him. She asked if Luke took his balls as well as his eye.
Arrax is normally faster than Vhagar but he was struggling to fly in the storm.
I heard that he got teased by one of the girls. I like watching a person on youtube called "Alt Shift X". He does a good job going over each ep. without spoiling the next.
Read somewhere that Daemon getting Vermithor is him basically apologizing with a grand gesture because he's too emotionally constipated to actually talk to his wife, and now I can't see that scene differently.

Well tbh one of two people currently alive could’ve approach vermithor daemon and rhaenys cause they knew the lullaby vermithor ate anyone who tried to claim him or even got too close cause he was bonded with jahaerys for so long almost a century had daemon not went to see vermithor before hand Hugh hammer would’ve been eaten the moment he tried to claim him

Season 2 almost here!!!!! Season 2 absolutely will have a different tone and flow and feel than season one. What’s that mean? It means not prologue time skips, and instead it’s all WAR and conflict

I used to work as an ABA therapist.I cannot diagnose Helaena, but based on her behavior, I'm about 95% certain that she is on the the autism spectrum. Not crazy.
Helaena is the only one of the family I like. I need to stop giving her a hard time. Everyone else

Rhaenyra should have sent Lucerys to the Eyrie; since he is a grandson of Aemma Arryn (Rhaenyra's mom); they would not have allowed him to be harmed; and sent Rhaenys to Storm's End (she is kin to Lord Borros through her Baratheon mother).
What a tragedy! ☠️
Rhaenyra wasn't seeing Syrax when giving birth. Syrax was feeling Rhaenyra's pain too. Daemon's and Rhaenyra's connection to their dragons is very strong, so much so that they dont need words to command. Way stronger connections than Aemond's bond with Vhagar. Even poor Luke and Arrax had a strong bond but unfortunately they were still both kids and learning so poor Rhaenyra & Syrax both lost their young adorable son. As well as Rhaenyra first losing her only daughter Visenya 🖤
Crazy that the war haven’t even started yet and Rhaernyra has experience the most loss. Her dad. Child lost through pregnancy. And Luke. So sad!
Technically Lord Beasbury was the first casualty of this war.

@@reactuniversity5277 actually didn't like that moment. As Ser Barristan told us, Kingsguard is for life. You can't just walk away. In the book, he was already dead and Cole was Lord Commander.
Committed till the end. We all know Cole would do it. He don't play when it comes to hurting Rhaenrya. He can't wait to do her end. She shouldn't have took his cookies.😆 He can't get that back!

Note that Daemon said the greens have 4 dragons. Aegon rides Sunfyre, Helaena rides Dreamfyre, and Aemond rides Vhagar.
Alicent has another son who should show up next season...
Also note there are 4 bloodlines flowing from Alicent in the title sequence.
I heard about the other son, whos currently with the High Towers. I did not catch, however, Daemon stating 4 dragons - hinting to the other son. Nice insight!

@@reactuniversity5277 oh...they never officially released the deleted scenes for the entire season - they rushed out an "in time for Christmas" blu-ray, but otherwise bare-bones...of course, they had a Fall release when up to then Game of Thrones was always released Spring or Summer...and instead of "DVD commentary" they DID have a weekly podcast one per episode which interviewed cast and crew (free on their youtube channel)....and a LONGER behind the scenes video series on HBO Max "The House That Dragons Built" focusing on pragmatic concerns of physically making everything (and the art choices that went into it, it's great)..........but we never got two things:
A - No official deleted scene releases
B - no animated "Histories & Lore" motion comics (except for the 10 minutes of promo videos they did leading up to Season 1, like GRRM explaining "This is who the Velaryons and Hightowers are"....they ARE working on high budget animated projects which might be the NEW version of the "Histories & Lore" videos we don't know...
Point is that there's always deleted scenes and we've been doing reports on them since Season 1 came out, but no footage....EXCEPT for ONE scene, whichc they screened at a convention, of Baela confronting her grandmother Rhaenys in the finale after the war council, insisting she's also a dragonrider and wants to join the fight (though she has one of the younger ones, younger than Arrax, who really can't stand up to the adult dragons in war). Just search "Baela deleted scene" it's all over youtube.
There were A LOT of deleted scenes particularly from the final episode: as they explained, at the last minute HBO told them that they were imposing a time limit because international markets add commercial breaks to them.....Condal and his team were really annoyed, accurately pointing out "the time to tell us this is when we were WRITING it, not AFTER we FILMED it!!"
I love getting into the Lore of this world. Sounds like I got a lot more for my viewing pleasure!!😎

Yes the baby was deformed rhaenyra named her visenya in the book she had scale and tail like a dragon it’s very well known targaryen give birth to babies who look like dragons but those babies never survive the reason why a lot Targaryen have birth difficult because of all the blood magic and incest

Why do all the reactors think Aemond attacked first when they were kids? It clearly wasn't what happened, every physical escalation in the situation was done by the other kids.

@@reactuniversity5277 Sure thing. If you go back and watch the scene where the kids fight after Aemond claims Vhagar you can see that every singe physical escalation was by the other kids. And no he wasn't and "innocent bystander" since he was talking shit but he didn't attack anyone first.

The Baratheons are salty for several reasons. When Aegon The Conqueror came to the 7 Kingdoms, he had a Baratheon half brother. Oros, who helped him in literally every battle and secured the Iron throne along side him. And in the end he won the castle Storms End and all its lands. But he was not included in the line of succession or given dragons. Rhanese, should have been queen. The rumor is that the great election was rigged and Visarys stole her crown. Rhanese is half Baratheon. In the books she has Baratheon black hair. When Rheanera was young she should have married a Baratheon. Or Visarys should have married his children with Alicent yo the Baratheons, welcomed them into the line of succession and gave them dragons.
This is why 300 years later, Robert was able to take the throne and make himself King. Lana Stark never loved Robert. She was the excuse he needed to do what his family always wanted. Take the Throne.
And Rheanera made a huge mistake sending her baby boy. She's so out of touch, that she sent him with a letter. Not realizing that Lord Baratheon could not read. And she sent a threat, not a request. She should have sent Damon, or some other high Lord that could negotiate, with the Prince by their side. Rheanera has not been in the business of running the Kingdom. And as a girl, was so angry at Alicent that she avoided her Princes duties.
What a great insight. A lot of pent-up bitterness and anger for the Baratheons. I wonder if they will stay, siding with the Greens, the whole time or change sides since their house owe some loyalty. Or maybe not, and their hatred grows deeper. 🤔

the fact that you think that Aegon the Conqueror, with his 2 sisters/wives and their three dragons, needed help from anyone to secure the crown is kinda funny.
Daemon was/is a loose cannon. Negotiation is not in his skillset. Rhaenyra was trying to avoid fighting. Sending Daemon would have all but guaranteed it. Also, time was of the essence. That's the whole reason for sending dragons in the first place. She had no way of knowing that Aemond would be there.
As to Rhaenrya avoiding her duties, she doesn't have any. Otto made sure of that. Daemon was similarly neglected when he was the heir, again, Otto's doing. Giving Daemon command of the Goldcloaks was also a set up by Otto who knew Daemon's aggressive side would cause him to overreact. It was exactly the wrong position to give him and exacerbated the schism between Viserys and Daemon - again, all part of Otto's ugly game. There's also the issue of Ser Criston Cole, Aegon and Aemond basically beating the tar out of young Jace and Luc every day during practice. How long before there's an "accident"? Even if that didn't succeed, Larys Strong would make sure Jace and Luc would eventually meet some untimely end like their father. Rhaenyra had to leave King's Landing for the safety of her family.

@@gunkulator1 ur coping very hard, they should have expected the greens would send people thats common sense and a fault from the blacks, aemond killing luke was obviously unexpected but they should have knew the greens would have sent someone too. Also, sending a threat to a lord like borros is a huge mistake when they have literally no benefit from choosing to side with the blacks beyond staying loyal to vows made 20 years ago by Borros's father
Where well yall made it to the finish line and man I when I tell ya the finale gets me everytime, poor rhaenrya went through so much in span of a short time which is so crazy to think about! She lost her mother and siblings so young , her father, the friend who betrayed her once again, the iron throne, lost her stillborn daughter that she always wanted, and her baby Luke smh, the amount of hate that she gets is so insane like I get you don’t have to like her but people fail to see her story or let alone try to understand that she was set up fail in a man’s world with no options for the position that was placed upon her by viserys who didn’t even do anything to secure it better , that’s why this show and got world shows a good example how yes we are watching noble or royal people with luxury and privileges live but the women have it harder in this time since they don’t get the secured position the men do who don’t have to work for it since it’s already given to them but yet a women has to do what she can to survive given the little option they have which is why they have to work 10 times harder than the men do but yet it’s never good enough since they are always reminded that the only thing they are good for is securing an alliance through marriage and provide heirs that’s it and nothing more which is why I love the different aspects of the women in this show good or bad, so yes rhaenrya may rebel against the system a lil which can’t name. Her for but that doesn’t she didn’t have it any better cause the men was plotting on her since day one and her dad just threw her to them by having sons instead of just naming daemon heir regardless of how everyone felt about but it would still be male tradition and we all know demon would’ve made rhaenrya his queen, I can’t wait for Otto to go cause that fact that he was so delusional that every legitimacy’s belonged to aegon when that is pure delusion cause if that’s the case why did yall lock up everyone at the keep about viserys death and rushed to crown aegon without princess rhaenrya even knowing but knew damn well that king viserys never publicly changed the succession even on his death bed💀rhaenrya deserved so much better even the choke scene threw me which is heard the actors especially mat who plays daemon was confused why it necessary for the choke scene even though daemon is wild but that was too much but rhaenrya wasn’t even fazed and goes to show that viserys never even considered daemon his heir since he never told him about the dream! Cyclops aemond thought it was funny to mess around with 140 year war dragon who used be in the game and didn’t mess around, he taunted his nephew because of his impulsiveness and now he started the war which alicent is gonna poop her pants knowing what her favorite has done! Team rhaenrya all the way and the queen is done being patient for too long after everything she’s been through so she coming for their asses and i can’t wait while i am wearing my shirt of her and matching glass cup sipping for this season to come! Interesting that people were mad at Otto for threatening lords to support Aegon. Not as many were mad at Daemon for threatening the Kingsguard to support Rhaenrya...
That is because those lords and kingsguard had bent the knee to Rhaenyra. Aegon being crowned is usurping, him threatening people because they won't break the rules is a different matter. It is not the same thing bud
@LauraGS564 it is exactly the same thing. Both are threatening to gain loyalty.
"Usurping" is a matter of perspective. Some called Robert Baratheon a usurper. Joffrey was Robert's named heir. Was Ned trying to usurp the throne by opposing him?
Moreover, no Targaryen was named heir and given the throne. Each had to take it and hold it. Maegor had to murder his nephew. Jahaerys had to wait for Maegor to die mysteriously. One cannot rule without the support of the great houses and half the great houses will never support Rhaenrya.
I can't wait to see the bloodshed that will take place next season. I'm here for it all! I love the back stabbing and betrayal! I have no idea who will win in the end. One takes the throne; the other plotting to take it back. Mahahahaha! WAR is here guys. Time to play a Game of Thrones.
@@havok6280 it is not. The whole realm bent the knee to Rhaenyra. The whole realm. Robert was called an usurper because he took over from the Targs. The Targs have always been in power at this point and Rhaenyra was the sworn heir and everyone promises their fealty. It's not the same thing.
Yes, a Targaryen was named heir lol. Rhaenyra was named heir. That's why she's not a usurper. My goodness, imagine having to have this explained to you lol.
And actually more than half the houses will actually support Rhaenyra. People will rally for her just because of their fealty. That's literally a point in the book.

The Targaryens have not always been in power. At this point in the story they've ruled for a little over 100 years. When Aegon took over, he adopted the traditions of Westeros to solidify his rule. That's why he was crowned by the Faith of the Seven. One of those traditions is primogeniture. Primogeniture is a legal system that states that a person's property passes to their firstborn legitimate child upon their death. This means that the oldest son inherits all or more of his parents' belongings than any of his siblings. Primogeniture is also known as male-preference primogeniture because it historically favored male heirs. So Viserys naming Rhaenrya broke tradition. Jahaerys reinforced this practice when he passed over Rhaenys and named Baelon heir. For that reason, many houses will never accept Rhaenrya.
Also, I said great houses. By that I mean lords Paramount. At this point in the story, Aegon has the Lord of the Westerlands and the defacto support of the Reach. Lord Baratheon just took his side. There are only 6 kingdoms at this point. So by my math, Aegon has at least half. The Tullys, Arryns, and Starks are undeclared. So my statement is correct. If a bunch of minor houses support Rhaenrya, it doesn't change that math.

Wild guess but Rhaenrya could play the, "the king meant my son Argon". Of course that wouldn't fly.
Daemon is Rhaenyra's war commander. The reason she married him is because of what he can provide. You think she can chop his finger or do anything to The Rogue Prince, Daemon fucking Targaryen? She needs him more than he needs her.
It's a good thing to have Daemon on your side. My guy is staying on business! 😎
Daemon needs Rhaenyra to give him access to the Iron Throne and give him children who have a shot of sitting on it, particularly if something happens to her first three sons...
