I doubt they intentionally made Sunfyre look worse for an "unreliable narrators" angle considering both GRRM and Condal have said Sunfyre is the most beautiful dragon in interviews. I think it's mostly just the colors being toned down, which is disappointing.
Yeah, they definitely still intended to make him the most beautiful dragon. I just don’t think it was necessary to tone down his colors, it doesn’t hurt to have the one dragon meant to stand out the most, well… stand out lol

I've also been a bit disappointed by how Syrax looks. Considering she's a yellow dragon I would have taken inspiration from the colour of real life yellow snakes and other reptiles. Syrax and Sunfyre could have looked magnificent in very different ways if they went for true yellows and golds.
@@vulgarveil they dont have the budget, there is like 17 dragons we gonna see in that show, we already say 9 in season 1 they dont have the budget to make all of them look good

Ryan condal himself said that Sunfyre is the most beautiful dragon and he also specified that they made him look different from the other 16 dragons so the spectetor could distinguish him. I think this is just a weird angle as he is in the air.
Yeah because he looks like shit in that angle
I really hope that’s what it is! I’ve noticed a lot of the dragons are often shown in very Smokey/ foggy environments (probably to save on budget) it really does a disservice to their coloring
I guess it's more so on the scales of the dragon that gets reflected in the sunlight, so it shines, as shown in the preview green trailer
@@Estella_Graves If you remember in season 1 ep.7 (yes Sunfyre appeared there) they made him very shiny in that scene from Driftmark. You can find some clear shorts of that scene on the net if you search "Season 1 ep.7 Sunfyre".

I think that first clip of Daemon walking to the throne was a vision from Harrenhal, just a guess
So hyped for it and such a great video! So nice to see a series with brilliant trailers and build hype, lots lately just fall flat for other shows/movies

Re: daemon conflict. I remember season 1 trailers built daemon up as the main antagonist. I suspect something similar here. I predict daemon and Rhaenyra will disagree on stuff but it’ll be more complex than the trailer lets on.
I’m happy with the entertainment weekly video they confirmed Daeron that Nettles news is kinda disappointing though

I’ve seen some interesting theories regarding this and who it is, but I won’t post spoilers in the comments. All aside I am very excited to see what that scene entails
Not Helaena, this AemondxHelaena theory is absurd. If you read the book you would know. I rather think it's the brothel mama from episode 9.
