The Subaru guy thought that his car haven't changed since he beat him before and he think he can beat him again with his pricey WRX

The guy in black is the hero he drives the EVO, the Villain is the guy in white he drives the WRX. I think the EVO had a strategy to win the race based on the previous race and the limited resources he had to work with and here it is. The EVO knows that if he takes the lead he will be rammed for sure and the EVO is the good guy, so he can't ram the WRX, the villain also knows this. The EVO instead plays an aggressive attacking game. The EVO baits the WRX by driving lines designed to allow the WRX to overtake him, but there is a cost, the WRX has to push his car a bit harder to overtake the lancer. The longer the race lasts the worse the WRX will perform, tires wear, engine is hot, random mechanical failure, etc, the EVO driver also drives for the most part with better technique allowing his car to in better shape for the final part of the plan. But right before the final part of the plan and very late in the race, the hero uses his first shot of NOS, The EVO is pushed to the MAXIMUM and the already weakened WRX is now getter much weaker, the set up for the final move, and it's very risky, it's all in. The first NOS wears off and the EVO is smart and again takes lines designed to give the villain the lead. The villain takes the lead, just like he the entire race. The EVO is now behind the WRX eventually out of view. The EVO pushes his car to MAXIMUM and near it's top speed he uses his second shot of NOS with the intention of ignoring the warning and risk the engine exploding. The EVO overtakes the WRX at incredible speed, I assume at this point the WRX uses NOS even though it's not shown, but the WRX has been weakened the entire race and now it's engine vs engine, who's will blow first from using to much NOS, the hero get's scared and goes to turn the NOS off, but the girl stops him and with luck his engine does not explode. However the WRX is not as lucky, and his engine blows you see this in the manner in which he stops, his car is ruined, he lost the race.
the girl with the white panda bear or whatever is beautiful, I love hr... the movie is great.. guys, wanna have some laugh, search for cruisin 1, and 2 ...its hillariouse, Youll love it
some of them I guess, but there were parts with fake drifting that looks like crappy CGI, should have made that better or just leave the drift out of this as it is more suited for touge racing.

@Paepat2524 just over a decade later I finally switch sides to the STi as the Evo left in 2016 and the STi stayed and got better.
