Yea, i got mine a while ago and due to construction bsically had to cut through a forest "road"/trail recently. i was genuinly surprised how well it did for what it is, its obviously no jimny or any other "real offroader" but for light-medium trails, some mud/snow/gravel or bumpy roads, its genuinly good
everything thats not big rocks or deep mud really.

Actually I was leading just to see if I can pass (otherwise we should've try an easier way), if I could the others would've followed with ease... anyway Ignis is a very capable little AWD weapon :D

Awesome ignis, the only problem in off road situation is the low front bumper, it make a low approach angle. With a lift kit the approach angle improve, but also stock the ignis is fantastic
The lift kit it's the next item on the list of modifications :)

@@riccardomarinoni6733 nothing fancy, it will be a spacer on the top of the suspension springs front & back lifting the car about 3-4 cm, I'm trying to stay in the shock absorber 's motion range. I'll show it when it's done.

Amazing experience with the Ignis ! Which tire size ? Do you have a skid plate under the engine?
tyres: Pneus Ovada MT tyres, 175/65/R15. Yes I have the steel factory skid plate under the engine and gearbox.

The MT tyres are remoulded, made in Italy, Pneus Ovada Extreme 2, 175/65/15

Can you crawl through difficult sections? How is the automatic in this regard?
The gearbox it's manual, crawling it's not this car's strong point :( but it can be done feathering the clutch. For crawling you need an automatic and a good crawl ratio, or the best, a transfer case. Unfortunately the Ignis doesn't have any of these, the automatic gearboxes are CVT, not good for off road crawling, I honestly don't know the crawl ratio :( and definitely doesn't come with a transfer case.
Auto only 2wheel drive.

@@ramonpons2011 yes, original suspension, why? There is nothing wrong with the original suspension. The 2016-2017 models had a problem with the suspension, mine it's a 2019 model and they resolved the issue.
