I would go to London just for that shop ! This is the abssolute treasure that I'm dreaming of ! Thanks for the video as I might never have the opportunity to go ! By the way I'm from Quebec ! the good news is that we've got direct flight from Montreal !
I did not make it here while in London but will be back soon and plan to visit. I did make it to the one in Edinburgh. Nice to get some education about what is there.
I’m an American who’s been drinking bourbon and American whiskey for 15 years. I just recently branched out to scotch. I’ve got to say, I love the enthusiasm and depth of knowledge here about the bottles and distillers. Makes me want to enjoy my bottles and pours even more.
really appreciate this comment - this is exactly why we started channel and continue to focus on bringing our amazing community content. great to hear that you're enjoying you whisky journey and branching out into new things. stay tuned as we have lots more coming. sláinte my friend!
Cadenheads 25 Year Enigma. I just seen it at my local shop. I'll be buying it soon. This video introduction is great. The Quality of your videos is clean. Thank you I appreciate it.
it's a great buy - be sure to grab it before it sells out! thanks for the support my whisky friend, be sure to subscribe to keep up to date with all things whisky. sláinte
delighted to hear our content encouraged a purchase and shone a light on Cadenheads for a fellow whisky lover. Merry Christmas Koski, hope you enjoy your whiskies! sláinte
Where are you based my friend? Definitely not easy to get good liquid at reasonable prices overseas; although as a bottler I can also say it’s equally not easy to get liquid to a lot of destinations thanks to local duties and other red tape
has Jack found another whisky brand to start collecting? I dare to think how little Cadenheads there might be for the rest of us in future years if so as you don't mess around with your collections!
@@TheWhiskyBaron I don’t think I’ve got the funds for that but I very much like the atmosphere in their shops and the tour at Springbank sounds like a lovely thing to do. I’ve only ever got as far around the Mull of Kintyre as Claonaig to get the little ferry over to Arran. Need to travel further down there someday ☺️
@@TheAldawg77 not one I'd frequent but great to hear you're finding value there! might need to log in and see if I can find anything to add to the shelves. sláinte and thanks for the input
@@TheAldawg77haven’t been quite as far as NZ but I was in Aus and can definitely appreciate your struggle. @@TheWhiskyBaron yeah we’re going there on Saturday. We did The Whisky Show at Billingsgate in 2022 and really enjoyed it so wanted to try a different one this year. Similar to Posh Scotch, not long got into Scotch (early 2021) and I’m already at approx 140 bottles 🤦🏼♂️ but still completely new to Indian, Japanese, English, Irish and blended whisky so looking forward to trying some there
We need to do a Cadenhead's episode very soon.
agreed!

always some gems in Cadenheads! did you pick up anything decent in Edinburgh?

seems to be going down well!
Just popped in and left with two bottles and two 20cls - thank you for opening my eyes/wallet to this incredible place. Merry Christmas!
Amazing! 🎉

go on lad!
Loved the shop tour and selection of value buys. It’s getting harder and harder to find good price-value whisky these days!
isn't it just! luckily Cadenheads have you covered
I need to join the CH club!
I can't believe you haven't already!
The Enigma Lowland is most likely Ailsa Bay. I picked up the 25yo blend in Campbeltown.
Not a bad shout - I haven't tried it yet so will reserve my opinion. the 25Y/O blend is smashing David, I hope you enjoy it!
As someone outside of the UK, I'm so jealous of both the selection and the pricing

Very festive and fun! Thanks for showing us around Ian 😊 I didn’t know about the Cadenhead’s Club, that does seem like good value for money 😊

Wow, that's awesome. Love the in-depth tour of the shop. Really need to get over there soon 😢
there's always something good to dig out from their shelves
Sad that the guy at the counter didn’t get a hug. He was screaming for it 😂 (please fix this next time)
😂 this made me chuckle, thank you Anton. HUGS FOR EVERYONE IAN!
Sorry, more hugs coming 😂

@@TheWhiskyBaron we don't have as many options in NZ as you guys in the UK. Whisky Galore is the best here imo.

The one in Scotland is tiny
In fairness none of them are massive. It’s what’s inside that counts though!
The beautiful small batch bottles where unique and beautiful, but no let’s rebrand and change to cheap vodka style bottles from Russia 😭😭😭
you don't like the Enigma bottles?
