- We recently got a call from our friend Chad Reed letting us know that he was heading to Idaho to do some riding and that we should meet up. We couldn't pass up exploring some backcountry single track with CR22.

This was cool to see Chad Reed our riding on the trails I grew up on.
It was a good time for sure. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing! :-)
Thanks for watching!
Love the insight coming from Chad. I’ve often wondered if professional riders can still enjoy the day in the woods throw a leg over the bike after they’ve been paid to do it for so long. I’m glad that he still finds joy in just going out for a Sunday ride. Chad Reed has always been a great ambassador for the sport and I really enjoyed this. Now, to go check out Mountain Motorsports!
Thank you for watching and commenting. Glad you enjoyed it!
I’ve ridden some of the trails reedy would of rode as a kid growing up in Cessnock some of the best in NSW
We need to head that way one of these days. Thanks for watching!
Hell ya, that's my back yard!
It's a good backyard! ;) Thanks for watching.

If only I had a dollar for every time a track guy says they want to take it easy. Woods riding is a whole other world of skill. Just like the track is a whole other world for me or others. So many guys find it hard to admit it... Once a racer always a racer!
We were really pleasantly surprised by Chad on this trip. He really just went with the flow and didn't even try to be the fastest guy or show off. He even struggled a little in a few sections but his bike skills are of course excellent and learned very quickly. He just had a good time and there wasn't any rush.
@@UPSHIFT_ONLINE Thats awsome. 👍😊
Sick!! Would love to see more riding footage. But who’s gonna be the first KTM/husky guy to tell Chad that he should be in a 350 and 450s suck for trails?!? 😉. Just quoting Lots of dudes with channels on UA-cam, not my words.
Hahaha... well, something tells us he has the skills to make anything work well.
@@UPSHIFT_ONLINE awesome. That was kind of my point (besides the fact that so many say it’s always too much power and worthless). Glad you got it
I have a feeling his "sunday ride pace" is faster than mine
No question he has skills and can go fast, but technical trails will reign in some of that and he was just enjoying the ride. Speed wasn't really a factor that day. Super fun!
Kurri tracks chad? Good place to grow up
Mate 👍🏼
We have heard good things... need to make a trip.
What area in Idaho is this in?
Out there somewhere...
Swan Valley, just east of Idaho Falls
Chad should do a GNCC
That would be pretty cool.
@@UPSHIFT_ONLINE sure he will be very fast
300 tpi is better for that type of ride
Different strokes for different folks!
@@UPSHIFT_ONLINE i always prefer 4 strokes but 2 are fun
