A great scene you created here! Going to have to try using drywall tape under airdry clay like that, seems it would help hold and with keeping it from cracking too. Then the scratch built cart just sends this over the top!
Amazing work! Given me a lot of thoughts and inspiration for my next one. Just one question, when you based everything black, did you paint the grass again and if so what colour/ method did you use? Again, amazing work!
Thank you very much for your kind words!!! I repainted the grass using the following colors: Tamiya Flat Green XF-5 and Tamiya Yellow Green XF-4. First, I painted with the base green color, and then I added highlights with the lighter shade.
Holy Bejebus! Wow! What was the 'clay' material you used? For the most part, you showed us the materials you used, so I might have missed the clay base portion, and the grided material you laid down before the clay - I am not familiar with that material.
thank you very much!!!! It is a simple air-dry clay. The tape I put underneath the clay is special for plasterboards. You can buy it from hardware stores :)
Very nice. However, one thing I've noticed with a lot of these tutorials is that people tend to forget the most important part: planning and composition, what kind of story do we want to tell? To me, a diorama is a scene where you can see that something has happened, will happen or is happening, otherwise its just a vignette (absolutely nothing wrong with that, and I'd say this here is a vignette since there is no story being told). But very nice job here, with a lot of custom work.
Thank you very much! However, I think everyone is aware of World War II, perhaps some excerpts from real footage would help to convey a story behind this diorama. In the future, I will include some excerpts.
I’m not sure how you can say this isn’t telling a story. Of course it is. Two soldiers waiting to take a tank out. What more of a story are you needing? Their names? Rank? Where they were born? Please…. Don’t over think it. Kind of absurd. Just took at your channel. Let’s see something you created with a story. I don’t see anything…..
Very well done! I hope the loader moves more before the bazooka gets fired.
Hahah 😅 thank you very much!!!

I CAN USE YOUR WAY TO MAKE MY OWN DIARAMA
TWO CHINESE ANTI-TANK SOLDIERS WHICH AIMING A JAPANESE TANK BY THE US M9 BAZOOKA DURING THE LATE WW2
It will looks very good 👍👍
Love your work but I can I point out that the soles of their boots are smooth, unworn and very clean!
haha, It's fresh units on the battlefield. 😅😅
Complete nonsens! Do you know what happens if you stand behind a bazooka when they fire? You are medium rare!
