The Arpeggios make the song refreshing and fun to listen to!!! How much time per day would you recommend working on Arpeggios? You rock man!!! ------------------------------- Right on ;)
i remember seeing you with Nitro at On the Roxx in Dallas many many moons ago....You blew me away then and still deliver absolute shred mastery like no other...thanks for the highest quality music all these years later!
Practice practice practice plus here is a tip for you most of the arpeggios he does are by baring a finger on a certain number of strings and using the other finger to play the top and bottom note while the others remain open.
Plus more practice and practice and practice and practice and practice and practice and practice. Looks super fun to play actually. It kinda reminds me of Satch Boogie there for a little. And more practice.
One of my favourite tracks of yours 🤘🏻 always loved the way you articulate your rhythms, not to mention the leads! THE best in my opinion, awesome performance as usual Michael 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@MichaelAngeloBatioOfficial Do you remember a band some years ago called The B'zz ? Used to be the Boyzz. I used to write music with the keyboard player and he spoke very highly of you. He said he knew you.
I remember listening to the No Boundaries album and being blown away with every track. Each one a masterpiece of guitar playing. They're all still so enjoyable to this day.
I've been a Steve Morse fan since the Dixie Dregs! Still one of my favorite groups. The Finish Line is awesome, and you can hear the influence. It's always amazing how your shredding looks so effortless. On a different note, Texas Toast Guitars (on YT) just built a guitar for the Great Guitar Build Off 2020 that made me think of you the moment I saw it. Three different necks.
I always loved this song. It's great that you explained a few things about it. I always thought there was a bit of "Satch Boogie" in it as well. Thank you!
No way!!! I played the first few seconds of this song just yesterday on my bass while I was just messing around and I was like: "Wait a minute, thats a MAB song. It had that funny little jazzy lick at the beginning. I need to find that song again" And BOOM , here it is. Thank you, Mr. Batio. :D
Man, the accuracy and speed are just insane. These videos are so impressive. Awesome tone, too. As classic Marshall as it gets. Loved the Alvin Lee tribute in the beginning.
when you play jazz, you are one mean fucker....its great that you show people to widen your horizon, so far I only saw you pulling it with such emotion and professionalism. Thx man , you are really talented
WOW you can change your style on a dime and nail it. If not for watching this video and seeing you play the intro I would have never guessed it was MAB!
@@MichaelAngeloBatioOfficial nah i didn't mean that ...it is totally yours mate, i attribute it to you....who else could write something like that! let alone play it live.....same as you said at the beginning of the clip ...thanks for sharing
May the SPEED be with YOU. 🔥 salute the master, salute.. Michael Angelo Batio! I'm missing you wearing the gold gym shirt, in the Doug Marks Metal Method : Speed Kills video... do you still have the shirt? 🤣
It was so good, once more pushing the limits. I hope to learn to listen fast enough to play fast enough. Once you switched to the neck pickup, you left me in the dust.
I remember listening to this song back in 2003 - 2004. I downloaded a lot of MAB songs from Limewire and this was one of those! That lick from 2:19 its so good. Great memories :D
It's crazy how these old episodes of Quantum Leap always had the main character really take on the life of the character.. This was the one where he turned into a guitar player filming a documentary about shredding.
Thanks for stopping by to check out the video! I offer a ton of guitar content on my channel, so be sure to like and subscribe!

Thanks for the continued support! Means a lot.
Sweet comment bringing up the memories and years of love! ❤
Omg. Not one missed note. I’d be happy if I could do one of those arpeggio runs at 1/4 speed with a 50% accuracy.

1:05 lick from Ten Years After - Im Going Home!!
Definitely a tip of the hat to Alvin Lee!
And at 2:50 the lick that I'm not gonna be able to play even after ten years
Every time I watch a MAB video I'm still amazed. Every note is perfect, unlimited speed, sweeps, pull offs, shreds, everything.
Thank you Joel! I appreciate that a lot.
