Alliance lost an opportunity to quest in a relaxed matter, this zone was extremely calm and personally, I am nostalgic about it. The dwarf priest gameplay seems to fit very well, and I decided to go along with it, even though some of you will think it's just the same sound experience. Great achievement! :) After they introduced the BGs the fight between Southshore and Tarren Mill ended. But I am sure you know that :) I was ganked near Southshore countless times :)
Back in classic leveling priest I would prep the target with a Holy Fire, that leaves a DoT, then a Smite during it's inbound travel, topped off with a Shadow Word Pain. Pop Bubble and wand until dead, reapplying Shadow Word Pain as needed. Mind Blast as finishing move for runners.
This sort of thing makes me so excited for Classic! I am about worn out on retail at this point... but I'm excited for that old school Vanilla coming back! This zone was one of my favorites!

Would be really nice to have some insights from Blizzard like: how many players are leaving the Retail over Vanilla or how many old players will come back just to play Vanilla. The next BlizzCon will be huge for Vanilla and Diablo (my guess!). Salutations :)
I can't really explain the charm of vanilla TBH and I really doubt it's purely nostalgia that makes me remember but... I can recall killing murlocs on the shore with my warlock like I just logged off, but can't remember a single point in the Suramar questchain on retail. And I did the latter just a few days ago. I don't know what makes vanilla questing so memorable and retail questing so forgettable.
You made a point Richárd :) Maybe it was our first real MMORPG, maybe we were young and had a great impact on us seeing this huge and wonderful world, or simply it was just much better than what we call now Retail. But about 1 year and a half ago, I've stopped playing Legion daily and little by little I've dedicated more time to Vanilla. (I've stopped playing much both of them to make this channel, afterwards). My point is, you are right, even though Vanilla is outdated, imbalanced and incredibly hard sometimes, it made me choose this game over the Retail. Thank you for coming back Richárd, Meisio
Because Suramar wants you to be be a part of something large, making it feel kind of fake... murlocs though are just there and you have to kill them, which is tedious, but it's work and it's believable. We don't save the world every day, but we have to do chores. Vanilla's small scale adventure made the world feel real. Now it's just fake but grand adventure...
Have a point, although I enjoyed the Legion quest lines and story, I'd rather be a smaller hero in a Big world than the Big hero in a small world(flying, portals, etc). We are getting to the point in retail where we are the most powerful beings on Azeroth. Just loose something in that, and becomes less memorable. Time will tell.
Nostalgia and novelty, coupled with a hard (relatively speaking) environment, all add to that feeling we all had towards Vanilla. Feelings we feel are similar; yet articulating them is difficult.
I miss encountering Narillasanz along the banks of the river and near Tarren Mill. I hated when the dragon was moved in one of the new expansions. So many things have changed in the game I used to love. Keep up the great videos and thanks for bringing back the memories!
Back in the days I've never seen him by the way. But when I've film the video and saw him there, I was thinking that must be a mistake. I've searched more on the Internet and then thought "obviously, this was wow vanilla: unbalanced and surprising sometimes :-)"
What I've noticed is that he very fast and he is tough even if you are couple levels more. If I remember correctly, he has an unusual HP for that level, not to mention that he is elite. :)

Beautiful. This is really usefull if you want to relax! Or to compare how the zone looked in Vanilla and now. :) I tried to create a character on Sylvanas/Anduin server and it finally worked! I've got to do some quests and to explore a little of Zandalar! It's real fun in there! Thank you again! :D

Back in 2005 I was questing and grinding as a holy priest. People didn’t know how I did it. Also as a warrior tank. That’s how good I was. Those two classes were the worse to solo with.

He was an intimidating dragon when your toon was only lvl 20. Very slow in flight and often vanished on turns, only to appear around the next bend.
What I've noticed is that he very fast and he is tough even if you are couple levels more. If I remember correctly, he has an unusual HP for that level, not to mention that he is elite. :)
