I have always said that if you believe in anything, believe in love. Believe that unconditional love of self and others is transformative. When we live as love itself, self-forgetting at its most complete, we free ourselves of the burden of tending to an individual self, in order to access a transpersonal self-one that is all-inclusive, leaves no person or thing outside of its purview. ‘Resting as love’ or ‘recognizing the oneness’ is not going to solve your deepest wounds.
It’s doing the exact opposite. These wounds are now going to be seen as part of the illusion of a separate self.
So with nonduality the mind found a very clever way to suppress them for good.
