Yup. And soon, very soon, hiker guy's grief will be replaced with happy exhaustion...keeping a kitten busy is a huge JOB for about a year. Better to adopt two cats to play with each other some of the time, so the human can rest a little sometimes, LOL!
My cat got out once and I hadn't seen him for at least 2 months. One day I was watching tv and had my window open for fresh air. Suddenly I hear a faint meow... I was in disbelief thinking "no way its him". I go to look outside and sure enough there he is. Omg I was so happy to see him healthy and of course alive.
@@robino12344 Cats can be surprisingly good at surviving on their own, especialy if they are used to going outside. As long as you don't live in a rural area with large predators that might get them, and as long as they don't get hit by a car (which is probably the number one reason most disappear in populated areas), they generally do a pretty good job at surviving on rats and birds. This is why cats have been devastating to local fauna in some places, to the point of driving many bird species to extinction.
My wife & I found a half frozen kitten in the snow in the city, brought her home & warmed her up. She was very sick & we kept her warm, full of food & lots of love. She grew into this beautiful cat that absolutely loved our other two male cats. They've passed now, but lived very long, happy & healthy lives💖.
See, people are always saying how rotten humans are, and then along comes someone like you who really cares about our fellow creatures. I was falling for the evil lie that the world would be better off without humans, but many years ago, I realized that much of the horrible behavior comes from a brokenness of the soul. I'm not saying that people who don't have faith can't live decent lives and be kind beings, but my faith in our Creator and Savior has caused me to have a LOT more peace and understanding. Thanks for caring about the smallest and most vulnerable amongst us.
You do know it's his cat right? Not a wild or feral cat he just randomly found on the way lol he set it up to make himself look good. The dodo is a 90% fake rescue channel. From leaving dogs in a tar to breaking their legs just for content.
I can´t believe his old family lost hope after just four days and got another cat. I´d have mourned him much longer. But happy that he´s with a good man now.
When you have a very small child heartbroken child, you’ll do anything to heal their heart fast. It isn’t about what the parents wanted, it was about making their youngest little girl happy and stop crying. It worked out for everybody in the end and that’s what matters.
@@TheKatarinaGiselle But wouldn't they take the lost kitten back too?? I guess there might be extenuating circumstances that would prevent having 2 cats, but IDK, I'd take both.
The cat as like: "I was gone for 4 days and you already replaced me? No room for 2 cats in your home? That's it, I'm going to stay with this nice guy who found me."
I guess the family just wanted a 'toy' to play with. They lost one, they immediately bought a new toy. LOL and then they talk about how much they 'missed' their cat.
Cats show affection just like dogs do they can be trained, mine picked me out of several different people and will not leave me alone when I get home from work gives hugs and even wakes me up in the morning with an extremely wet nose purring the entire time to the point of squeaking
Mines similar only it wakes you when it wants eg 2 in the morn .and the purr is more like a growl. Then once hes been fed he ignores you til he wants somthing .....
@@francishatton6683 mine also same ...both of them will wake up at 3 am of nite & push me up for food . But they help me to realise that true love prevails .
Isn’t that just heaven😻♥️😇 I love when my fur babies play me music with their little music box inside them, the purrrr calms me… I always rest my head on their belly and close my eyes and just listen to them purring.
I can't imagine how terrified that poor kitten must've been out in the snow by himself, especially during the storm. It's amazing Hytch survived days of cold with nothing to eat and little water (snow would have lowered his body temperature so he can't have eaten much snow or he'd have had hypothermia). You can hear he was very hoarse, as a result of him crying for help for days and not getting enough water. It was a miracle he survived. They're obviously meant to be together.

I was told I had 6 months to live when I was 29. I wasn't expected to be able to walk after the cancer was removed. I walked or biked everywhere and people thought I was weird. I can't walk very much or very far anymore. I woke up to my family being told I was now quadriplegic. It took a lot to walk again and it is like walking a tightrope with a lot of faith but every step is priceless. Screw cancer. 💝🌈 I salute those that are still fighting 💪and those who have passed on too soon🕊 🌈💝 👣🐾Keep stepping🐾👣
So sorry for your tragic life event at only 29 yrs old, but you had the determination to live and walk again. I realize how the profoundly your disabilities have affected and restricted your life. I hope you do have interests and people that give your joy, purpose and meaning in life. Your sharing of a personal pain reminds us " more able people" we should be grateful while being more compassionate to those who suffer. I have a miniscule issue compared to your problem. I can no longer hike, walk several miles or stand in long lines due to a fall in a ditch at night that resulted in chronic nerve damage in the ankle of my foot and limited flexion. I have a deeper understanding and compassion for people with disabilities. Keep well in mind and spirit. Blessings to you.
@@Karen-dk1ec hello Karen. Thank you for your kind message. It is very much appreciated tonight. I used to love to hike too. Hopefully you can find another interesting way to get out. It is great there are so many options out there and sometimes a little creativity helps. Friends definitely help. I feel that when pain is taking from you there is nothing mini about that. I would go back and tell my less pain self to talk to a therapist and more importantly make sure to see a doctor about it. If something feels wrong tell them. My cancer, that began just below my neck, started with pain in my hip and lower back. I just needed the right test among erroneous prognoses. I wanted to give up. I would not be here if I did. It scares me how easy it would have been. Things like fibromyalgia have better outcomes when treated early. Well, hot tubs help. Hot water bottles or pads help too like those thermacare pads. Well Karen have a wonderful day.🌈 🕊
I'll be praying for you, God has a huge plan in place for you, you may not know it, but reading your story and how you are overcoming this gives me more faith in God. Take care of yourself and God bless you!!!
You can get yourself cured of cancer with ormus. Make a HHO gas generator for your HHP flame outlet. Nanocoat one copper plate with the flame, slowly and gently. If you have silver, nanocoat it as well. Else, zinc plate will do. Filled a tank with distilled water. Place two plates in it. Connect them with nanocoated copper wires as well. Finally, bubble the distilled water with high purity high concentration ozone from two of the sides perpendicular to the plates. Ormus will form at the center and corrosion of the plates will occur. There is way too much suppressed science since the beginning. I will talk about free energy if you want as well.
Cats have a way at finding their person. 12 years ago when I was only 7 years old my older sister left a man who wasn't good to her or to his own cat, she left him and not only that but she took his cat, he didn't even care. Since day 1 I did everything I could to help him get better. He was sick, had wounds all over him from stress licking, but most of all he had a a fear of men. I didn't blame him for having that fear. It took one vet visit to find out what was making him so sick, he had a food allergy to Meow mix. Over time he got better, his wounds healed after realizing that he was safe now, with knowing that he was safe his fear of men away. However that's was just part of the past. My parents didn't want him, they threatened to take him to the shelter and leave him there. Me being 7 years old and having watched countless episodes of animal rescue shows on animal planet I knew that he wasn't gonna get out of there alive. So I fought my parents to let me keep him. In the end I won, but I didn't only win a cat I won a friend and Snare, my cat, got to keep his life. Over the next few years Snare lived an amazing life. He had a much better life then he had with his old owner. I was proud at the work I had done, I saved him and had gained a best friend and one heck of a fur-baby. 12/23/2020 the day before Christmas at the old age of 14 years old I had to say goodbye to him. Me remembering how bad he looked in the past is a price I had to pay in order to save him, I was just a child who should have never seen an animal in such bad condition, but I would do it again if it means saving another life.
@@barbaragarner9192 that is true, even if a price had to be paid in order to save him, me still remembering how bad he looked even after all of the years. I know the 3 days may seem a bit harsh and overly quick but given how upset the young must have been combined with living out in God's country I can't say I blame them. Lots of animals out there that would have no problem snatching up at kitten for a meal.
That's a great guy with a massive heart. I hope his friend is beating that monster. He needs a truly "pawsitive" ending to his story, and Hytch, or whatever he ended up being, is the first part of that. So glad he found him! And many thanks to the family who understood his bond and let him keep the kitten. I know they'd got another for their youngster, but it still takes a big heart to give away what you love (and two cats isn't like having two great Danes!)
Unserstood the bond? Absurd. They waited THREE DAYS and immediately replaced their "family member", though I don't think they considered the kitten such as. What kind of message is this? If your loved one got lost, don't fret, and especially don't put too much effort to find it, don't wait and hope that it will eventually come home again, just forget it, and get a new one! The little child was so distressed (meaning beyond upset) they bought her a new 🐈 cat. Children need help getting over the passing they love; sometimes they are inconsolable. Their new kitten was the choice they made for her as her parents, who knew their child. Their call. They gave Hytch to someone whom the kitten chose. The kitten lost in the storm - did you actually see 👀 the snow and frozen road? Would you think that kitten would have survived the storm and 3 days out in that kind of wet 🤔 and cold? That little fur person looks like a Siberian or possible Norwegian Forest Cat, so better able to survive in the cold than most. So grateful that gorgeous baby was found in time and taken to a loving home🥰
Or the much, much more statistically probable ‘domestic longhair’. It does a serious disservice to feline welfare to attribute any cute cat to a ‘breed du jour’. Mutts, moggies, grab-bag kitties are healthier and in no short supply. Also, if it was an expensive breed, the family would have taken it back…
It is more possible, but as someone who is a purebred Siberian (only because if parents allergies is why he's from a breeder) the kitten does resemble my cat a bit in the build. The kitten may be mix breed, or the owners just really didn't like the kitten they got (somehow)
@@snapdragnz Surreee that was just a typo. Admit it - you're a purebred Siberian cat that has learned to type. You cats are secretly plotting world domination, you can't hide it any longer. We know.
Faith in humanity slightly restored. Not only did he rescue this little kitten, but he went through the trouble of finding his owners. It's so sweet that the original family let Hytch go to a loving home but keep in touch. They really did what's best for him and will surely love and treat their new kitten well too. I love it, when people have the best interests of other living beings in mind and are willing to make sacrifices.

Suddenly she showed at our door, but was terrified of everything (including us). It took me many months (over a year) to get her to where she'd start getting in my lap again, but she eventually did start acting like her pre-vanish self again. Sadly, she passed a couple of years or so after she came back. We missed her and were so thrilled and excited when she showed up. I can't understand the possession thinking, I am firm about our kitties being part of our family and they are. My old man kitty Sunshine and our youngest, Emmett (means Truth) are very close to me - I dread the day my boy passes (hope it's going to be years away) - he is always giving me head butts and nose rubs, and Emmett? My sister had let her cat out onto our porch which some of the fence were broken due to a storm in 2019, and didn't know the cat got out if there until midnight when I heading for bed I went all around the house looking for the cat and didn't see him and found out that he wasn't let in either so check the porch and he was not there. He was on the porch since like 9pm and then it took my siblings, parents and I two hours to find him. Glad that he was sleeping on another porch thats two houses down.
That happened to me once at a rest area when I was moving to another state. Kitty slipped out of the door unnoticed and I got back and felt this horrible empty feeling. I looked and looked and was already starting to cry and as I headed back to the car there was this black tail hanging from the front tire of the car. RELIEF!!! He was in the wheel well waiting for me.
Luckily my cats are scared of going outside and even if they did, I’m not too worried since my dog is used to being around cats and she was younger than my 3 cats (4 after nearly a month ago of getting a new one). But even despite that, I always make sure the doors are shut good and are locked. There was one instance where my oldest cat somehow got outside and we didn’t notice until when we picked up that she didn’t immediately ran over to her food. But luckily she was underneath the car and we got her back in and we always kept an eye on her (or put her in one of our rooms when we bring groceries in). What makes this worse is my town is known for having stray dogs roaming and how few owners around her are negligent which is why I’m very wary of my pet’s safety.
My god that cats disgustingly cute, and good for him taking in that adorable little guy and giving him a home. Guess there are good people in the world

Right? He should have never tried to give the cat back to the original owners in the first place. They left the poor thing outside in WAY below freezing weather knowing a huge snowstorm was rolling in. That cat was a toy for their kids to them, not a living creature to be cared for. The fact that they immediately replaced the missing cat like you would a broken toy only further emphasizes how little they care about the well being of their animals. It's really sad some other kitten had to take Hytch's place, I'm sure the previous owners learned absolutely nothing from losing their first cat.
Sadly out in country sides coyotes often get cats and smaller dogs. my family loses cats very often to coyotes. if they don't turn up usually in a few days then that's the mentality

They gave Hytch to someone whom the kitten chose. The kitten lost in the storm - did you actually see 👀 the snow and frozen road? Would you think that kitten would have survived the storm and 3 days out in that kind of wet 🤔 and cold? Did you see the same clip I did?

That is Very true. I have had Animals all my Life. Mainly Kitties but a Few pups. We have a Shitzu named king. He is Amazing. Plus we have 3 Kitties
Bless this selfless man for being at the right place at the right time to save this precious kitten from the snow storm 🐈❤️🐼
Amen!!!🙏😇🙏
I can't get enough of these rescued cat stories -- it raises my spirit about life and the glory of what human kindness and altruism can be.
For sure a spirit raiser, as 98-99% hate cats.
Felines are my #1. I hope to have one again one day.
Good thing he came by. Two good friends, designed by fate.
Happy for them both.
He's BEAUTIFUL. Between his obvious good health and his instant attachment to the first person he saw, one could tell he'd had a home. I'm so glad he found his way back to a home and to lots of love! It was meant to be!!
Yeah kind of makes u think maybe he has a home just being used for yt views
Everlasting,
As a matter of fact, even feral born cats can attach to a human like that.
And he may not have made himself known to a human with bad energy.
A divine encounter for sure. Glad you two found each other. 🐈⬛🤍
I was never a cat person and then my (ex)wife wanted one when we had a 4 year old black lab. Saphira turned into the coolest cat I ever knew. RIP to both Katie & Saphira, you were great pets!
Shame you lost the pets but at least the wife is gone. 😉
So glad you opened your heart to cats. They can be super cool if you spend time with them.
Hytch is such a precious big baby boy I hope he’s doing well along with his daddy.
awwww he found you and you saved him I can't think of anything more positive than that I belive that it happened for a reason
The man talking
The cat: just take me already it's bloody cold here
Was thinking this. The cat had wet/frozen fur and was trying to get inside his collar for warmth and I was thinking, "Stop filming with both hands and just hold him in one arm/tuck him in your clothes!" Love the story though.
Lol
So things went off without a…Hytch?
…You’ll never take me alive.
Things went off WITH a Hytch!
😂 love it!
😂 lol!
it's because he found hytch on a hyke.
Bumbum,tsch 🥁
What a beautiful kitty!❤ They are lucky to find each other❤ Also I like how the kitty meows every time after he finished one sentence, kitty is so expressive and energetic!🥰
You two were meant for each other, and you will always be glad of it 🐅🙏
Such a beautiful cat - so deserving of a real forever home and family.
Kitty quickly decided to adopt you as his rescuer. Seeing him on your neck is saying it all. Then the family felt he'd have a good home with you so there you are.
"if I named him I'll get attached to him"
I relate to this man by a lot
Hytch is a fun name, but K-10 would have been so great too because it's very close to KIT-TEN :)
Heh, what a great idea for his name, I love it!
It could be a nickname! :)
LOL before I found your comment, and just before pressing reply...I wrote
I would have named him K-10...but thinking about it it does sound like...Kitten. lol
Hytch = first name
K-10 = last name
In India, ketan is a name for a boy, sounds very similar to k-10
Even before you named the cat you already knew you were attached! Congratulations on your new baby
Hi
David Ryan is a scammer profile, please don't give them any information about yourself..
It's a miracle.u rescued that baby kitten. God bless u
Thanks for being his rescuer. If I was the family that lost him, I wouldn't have let you take my picture though. I guess they didn't realize just how wrong they did by the cat and the lessons they were teaching the kids. They felt no shame in it so don't even realize how wrong it was. Sad. I hope they do better by their new cat. And your boy has the home he deserves. He sure didn't want to let you out of his sight when you found each other!
cauz girls hated kitties, thats prob y that family abandoned the kitten
Yeah going by the expressions on the kids faces they weren’t that thrilled to have found him. Glad he found a better home.
They didnt do anything wrong. They let this nice man keep the cat.
Bad owners and even worse parents.May they read the comments.Shameful.
The kitten was asking for help, her crying made me anxious.. I've had cat since I was a young kid, so kinda "speak" their language.
Glad the man helped, so grateful.. thank you with all my heart. You make this world a much beautiful place. 🙏
Then you have my cat who makes the most pathetic noises because she wants attention 🙄 has done so since she was a kitten
Mr moe survived the frigging cold by melting the snow with cuteness overload
Survived all that time to see her family again, then got home to find they had a new kitten and she was given away to a stranger OMG SO *CUTE**
This literally just happened to me two months ago in Los Angeles, it was a really wet morning which is already rare ! there was a faint a little voice from a bush off the highway … now I’ve had a kitten for 2 1/2 months LOL came at a great time too so amen to this video! 🙏🏼🥰
U n the kitty are blessed with some shared love. What name did u give your kitty?
@@jld4870 definitely are :) his name should be lucky 🍀 however my daughter calls him Turkey 🦃 and my son calls him skitter 🤦♂️
@@JFredric I’m sure the kitty comes to any loving arms or good grub. Lucky lil kitty to have so many loving arms. Enjoy!!
0:11 The cat sounds like a Damaged ocelot in Minecraft 😂
What are the odds that this kitten and Max ran into each other.
Lucky for Hytch. And a little sad that his family so soon replaced him.
But Hytch is in much better hands now.
that little dude held on for so long. the sheer will of wanting to survive is inspiring in it of itself, and the fact that its an adorable little kitten like him is awesome.
Cats usually have a way to get into your heart when you are missing someone or something! This one sounds really chatty so enjoy these new happy times as you are a compassionate person❣️
yep, they're mysterious beings
He's will be the bestest friend and therapist for you when you're down or had bad day, thanks for taking him and hope both of u stay healthy
thanks you for saving this beautiful baby ❤️❤️
What a gentle soul, and what a sweet and beautiful creature, they fit well together ❤ 💖 😊
You had heartache, but now you're a dad! ❤ Cats come into our lives when we need them most! ❤
Awww I’m so glad you found him,he deserves a loving life😻🥰,I’m happy he lives a happy, loving life,he is absolutely beautiful🐶🐱🐻🦊🐯
Hytch is a boy.
"Saving one animal won't change the world, but it will change the world for that one animal." ❤️🐶🦊❤️
Wow, the former owners really didn’t waste much time replacing him. My cat has been gone for four months and I can’t imagine getting another one. They’re living beings, not gap fillers.
My cat also 10 weeks im so heartbroken. I'm praying he's with someone good if hes still out there.
Their daughter was distraught, so they got her another kitten. Why blame them? If they’d have found the lost kitten, they’d then have two kittens.
@@Ceerads Terrible lesson to teach a child. Also, they didnt find the lost kitten (did they even look) They could have two kittens still, but they werent interested in kitty 1 after she was "easily replaced". Its easy to replace something you have no attachment to.
@@chinchy111 rotten cold hearted person you are saying such a thing about an innocent child. Shame on you.
Nicola I think it's easy for them because the family are not fully attached to the kitten yet. It's just a month or two. However, they should have taken the kitten back because cats are usually better off in pairs. They can entertain and wear each other out.
What a beautiful cat! I am so glad you were able to keep him.
Seeing how quickly the owners replaced their kitten seems he's definitely gone to a better home.
It seems cold, but they had a young child, and those are pretty fickle with their things, so I understand why they got a new kitten so quickly
@@joltdarkjolteon4125
Yes, they did it to distract her from her loss. ❤️
@@deborahrouse5644 yeah but why not take him back, as if it's just a household item that's been replaced.. "Nah, don't need it, got a new one"
Seems like a miserable pet ownership.
Unlesssss.. Max had showed signs of attachment and the family felt that and have him keep the kitten - hopefully that's the case and everyone wins 😌
@@someone2506 maybe they just didnt want two cats
@@joltdarkjolteon4125 then raise the kid better ffs
The way he first met the cat in snow, it's beautiful
Oh my goodness…that little kitty is just too precious and I’m sooo glad you rescued him and you have each other! He will be forever indebted and I pray you all have many years together!
Ive grown up with cat's had at least 1 at all points in my life, and i loved them all. I miss my first tho. Found him climbing on the back screen door, as a little jet black kitten. No mom or siblings in sight, and think she was hideing under the porch. She was the best and so smart. She got io enjoy the farm and inside. She would sit in the window to see me get on and off the bus, watch TV with us at night, take care of me when i was sick, and just the best mama. She lived a very long life and spots of her jet black fur turned grey before the end.
What an adorable story. The kitten was so lucky and so was the guy.
"there is no control. just roll with the punches" - so much truth and such a good heart in one guy. thanks for saving the poor baby!
"Where u start is not necessarily where u end" say it again Brother Amen. Great story.🙏❤️
I'm so glad you kept him!
He CHOSE you.
And he came into your life right as you needed a fuzzy friend the most.
Long, beautiful life to both of you.
Love the way that little kitty followed right at finder's feet when he tired of riding his shoulders/neck. One sweet, smart, charming, kitty. Good thing he already had a thick coat for that minus 20 degree cold! These two were clearly made for each other.
This kitten is so smart, that he doesn't fall off as he is walking.
That’s normal in cats
All cats are really good at that.
That's not intelligence 🤣🤣
that has nothing to do with smarts, it has more to do with balance
What a beautiful boy!! Good that such a pretty kitty got such a lovely home in the end! And isn’t it wonderful that animals can come into your life right when you need them? It’s truly special💖
Poor baby…adorable little creature…….So cute….
I would have put him in my jacket instantly. That was the "I'm hungry and cold" meow.
This guy is a wonderful human being and has a great voice.Aww there’s a kitty on his shoulder
Wow, only 3 days and he was replaced already 🙁
I'm still searching for my missing cat until today, hoping she might come home or I can find her.. And she's been missing for more than 6 years 😢
(Edited) Good thing he was found by the man, otherwise he could freeze to death 😩
Now he's in a good hand.. Stay healthy, Hytch 😊
My sister's cat went missing about a year ago. She misses him so much. Very sad. But I hope that someone found him and gave him a home.
@derptube nobody asked you to be a douchebag either.
Sadly out in country sides coyotes often get cats and smaller dogs. my family loses cats very often to coyotes. if they don't turn up usually in a few days then that's the mentality
@derptube we all wanted him to say it, though
Beautiful and heart warming!!!❤😻
I’m not a cat person, but all animals deserve a loving home. Thank Heavens this man found him! ❤️
No one is until they get a kitty 😆 then its irreversible
@@VampireSock unfortunately I am allergic to cats.
Aww she’s so precious
I now see is
Thanks for finding the cats family! It seems to often be a missing part in stories where someone finds a cat. Whit that said, that kitten were there for you! 😻 Two souls that needed each other at the same time.❣️
What a miracle he survived 4 days outside in the freezing cold and found a good person to take care of him. Great story!
He looks so much like my cat Chico!!! I adopted him after a person found him living under a car for weeks. I had just lost my cat Bruna for cancer at 18 years old and was heartbroken. He came into my life in such a hard moment and made it better. I always tell him I would rescue him a million times again if I had to.
[cue “awwwwwwwwwww” noises]
**YOU GOT THAT RIGHT, MY FRIEND!!
Not only is he such an adorably cute kitten but it is heartwarming to know that not only has he now got a new forever home but that he has got 2 families who love him just as equally meaning that he will be doubly spoilt thru out his life xxxx
the first family replaced him after 3 days...
