Vacuum and Pneumatic Multi-Tool Gripper/Lifter

Our Ergonomic Partners teams developed and built this two-in-one vacuum and pneumatic tool for gripping and lifting 100-pound buckets and boxes. The tool features a steel and aluminum powder-coated frame that houses components for both systems using a control lever to switch between the vacuum gripper tool or pneumatic gripper tool. The frame includes controls for both systems including a force sensing control handle for up/down movement, gripper hook up/down lever controls, vacuum/pneumatic high-low grip/release controls, vacuum / pneumatic gripper cord management system with quick disconnects, and the detachable tool head with quick release pull pins. The vacuum tool features a 150mm vacuum cup with air-saving pumps and a vacuum indicator gauge. The pneumatic gripper tool features a quick release manifold system, side grip handle, extendable gripper hook, and side securement Linatex rubber-lined grip jaws with a pneumatic grip cylinder. The multi-tool is suspended from a Gorbel Easy Arm and G-Force Smart Hoist using our gripper safety circuit preventing operators from accidentally releasing the buckets or boxes in mid-air.
