ignore the initial audio issues. Audio is fine once Acharya ji begins speaking.

Most current Vedantins overplay the importance of Adwaita Maayavada and Buddhism, since they are more acceptable to the West and neglect or suppress all other Darshanas and Siddhis of Sanatana Dharma. Hindus should revive all Darshanas, Matas and Siddhis, whether Westerners like them or not.

Tantra, Saankhya, Yoga, Vaisheshika, Nyaya, Vishista Adwaita Vedanta and Dwaita Vedanta are Life Affirmative, while Mayavada Vedanta rejects the whole existence as False. Mayavada of Adwaita seems like Hidden Shoonyavada of Buddhism. Ancient Tantric, Vedic and Puranic texts are life affirmative. Mayavada of Adwaita or Denial of the Universe is the biggest philosophical blunder, which led to the weakening of India.

      This is a false misunderstanding.
Advaita Vedanta first of all is an elite practice for a select group of people. Shankaracharya makes this abundantly clear in his prakaraNa granthas. There are strict criteria to be met before you can practice advaita vedanta (the sAdhana chatuShTayam). It is not easy to meet these criteria, and you are an adhikAri only if these criteria are met. In particular, it is a system for renunciates.
As long as these criteria are not met, you are to engage in the world enjoying it, doing your shAstra vihita dharmas. There will come a stage when you will naturally become a mumukShu. That is when you can take up advaita vedAnta sAdhanA full-time.
There is no harm in studying the shAstras though even if you are not an adhikAri. But there will be no prayojana for it, that is all. Also, there is also nothing wrong in enjoying the world, provided that you do so dhArmically. By "mithyA", advaitins don't mean that the world doesn't exist. But that the world is only relatively real, and there is a greater Truth underlying it which sustains it.
