Hi what about the Versatrack AWD system that was used in cars like the rendezvous ? and other oil that can work other then the versatrack oil that i cannot get where i live ?
Great content as Always.. I love how you breakdown the procedure for the DIYer... Questions: What type of Fluid transfer gun is that and where can I purchase?? What type of Scan tool you used and where can I purschase.. Awesome Commentary Young Man!!!
+Cedrick G Thanks for watching! We carry the extractor pump on our website, but we do not carry that scan tool. Here is a link to the extractor pump: www.1aauto.com/fluid-extractor-syringe-pump-cta-7075/i/1axaa00152
This appears to be the same system as the SRX. is that the case? I just had that code. Rear diff was only slightly low (signs of seeping on diff) so Topped it off. I guess next step is the clutch side fluid check. It's a 2015 SRX4 with only 40K miles, owned since new and dealer maintained by dealer purchased from until recently so a little surprised it threw that code out of nowhere. I am not in a snow state, no towing so it's really never been worked hard. Thanks for the video. It gives me a direction to look before just "taking it in" and being told it needs an entire diff.
My Captiva Automatic AWD has an issue. While turning the steering or making a U-turn at a slow speed, the car shudders as if something is holding the tires. While reversing and turning the steering, it has the tires with vibrations. Moreover, both the rear tires are worn only on the inside. The problem doesn't seem to exist when I remove the drive shaft. I tried to change the drive shaft of a good car, but the problem didn't seem to go away. Please help me. When they put the drive shaft back and disconnect any 1 abs censor and the error pops up on odometer then the problems seems to be vanished. The moments you put the abs cencor back the problem comes back. What might be the issue with my vehicle?
I believe my AWD is not working properly.. I got stuck on some ice with front wheels spinning only.. I drive a dodge journey 2018 gt. Absolutely no warning light for the AWD. My wheels did freeze up one winter ago and I remember faintly that I heard a grind in the back. Probably broke? IDK! Any help would be great.
So my awd system is not engaging in the snow it’s like my car only gets power from the rear the front doesn’t seem to move I own a Infiniti m35x any suggestions?
Any fluid for gen 4 haldex should work. You can get it from febi, VW, Volvo, ravenol.. etc. This system is made by Borg Warner and is nearly the same in many other cars.
Do you have a video for removing the front driveshaft for this type of vehicle? I’m trying to remove the driveshaft so that I can remove the engine cradle which is routed above the driveshaft
If you really were servicing it you would of took off the 14 Allen bolts to clean the inside of all the sludge and clean the pump’s screen that gets close to blocked in 30k miles as the fluid gets sludgy.

Good training vid Andy. Thnx.
Why don’t you drain the clutch fluid before you fill it. Is there no drain plug for the clutch fluid????

I recommend a 2018+ Enclave, Acadia, etc. Clutch fluid change video.

+ATLboi Jaybo We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Same procedure on the Saab with the XWD if i’m not mistaken?
Correct
It was half assed. He should of replaced the filter and cleaned the inners of the sludge and clean the pre filter to the pump.
How to replace oil line
Can you guys do a video on replacing the head lamp connectors on 2003-2008 Dodge Ram’s?
+Tyler Hish We're always cycling through common cars. We'll add this repair to our list! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Now that looks like cars I'm used to seeing. Rust and old and dirty.
You started the car and pushed the gas peddle down 5 times and it was in park. So how does that have any effect on the rear end?
+Gary Anthony Thanks for watching! This will purge out any air that is in the pump.
Why can't I find mechanics that actually know what they're doing near me? Geez!
