See this is how a small apartment should be in NYC. Instead they have a studio apartment with basically everything in one space the kitchen, the bedroom, living room and then charge like $2,500 a month. But here it actually feels more liveable since it's all sectioned off into actual lil rooms. One of the better HK apartments I've seen for that price.
The Hong Kong market is absolutely horrible because real estate is the only way rich people can invest. This isn't just a "good" apt, this is a huge rarity for the price
Yeah totally...that "Cubicle Vibe" really helps the expansive feel of such a reasonably priced abode. And that 'Haphazardly Hobbled Together Hotel' look, is giving a major "high‐rise housing‐project from the future" sort of feel. So Minimalist, but with an Avant-Garde, 'lived‐in' "homeyness" that is missed by so much open space for no reason!!! Lol people are nuts man!
I feel like the actual price of the apartment is closer to $4k (US), because that other guy in the vid looked like his roommate. Which, if that’s the case, matches up with NYC and LA prices vs what you get.
Yeah, it's not too bad. Everything looks pretty new. Most of the NYC apartments for $2k are extremely old and need renovations. You also wouldn't get a washing machine in NYC for this price. Are there closets though? I want to know where all his stuff is, it's so empty!
I once went to Hongkong and stayed for six months there the city never sleeps!,the people are so interesting they have this mix culture of chinese and British it really was fun and hell expensive!,I stayed until i finished all my money then left,i miss it though.❤
as a person who was born i HK,thats actually really good,especially for 1-person apartments,its also not that expensive,only 1.5萬,萬= million (yes 1 million = 10,000)
did anyone else notice the guy w the backpack and pink bag was in the same spot setting down the bag twice after the video cut when they first got to the place ?
That is a mostly moist laundry. You should really let it stay with it's window and it's door open mostly everyday everytime or else your clothes are going to get moldy. 😢
You can totally tell he is a only child and loves his Mom but dude you don't have a fork priceless 😅😅 Mom shows up next day with entire truckload of utensils furniture and forks 😅😅😅
Hong Kong has a lot of rich people and celebrities. The housing price for those apartments/ house is insane. If you think the rent for working professional is too high, you may be interested to know how wealthy can the rich in Hong Kong be like. In Nyc or California , you can have a really nice apartment / house at $2-3 million. But in Hong Kong, maybe 10X
Nice! Good living space. Reminds me of my NYCHA apt. galley kitchen, office/dinning area/living room, bed-in sized bedroom, closet/laundry room ideal, and bathroom fits a normal sized butt! Maybe I'm a minimalist after all. I can do "bare bones"! I've lived it! 😂
I used to live in hk I didn’t have to to pay since my other family lets us live in it for free but although houses are expensive stuff are way cheaper there
that’s actually a clean setup
This is actually a decent price in HK
this is terrifying
Very thou, especially u are living alone
@@ekklesiast yea..as a hongkonger I’d say it’s true
Decent price? 😅

Not liking the set up there in Hong Kong 🤷🏻♀️

this laundry room is such a flex in HK
Shoes off is one of the best policies ever in a house. It can keep house clean without dirt on ur shoes all over the place
it's not a policy i dont care if guests wear shoes. who the fk can handle wearing shoes all the time

It actually really big for 15k , my partner pays the same in the same area ( I recognize sai ying pun) and it waaaaay smaller😅
i'm in kln bay and pay 13k. and my room is not even half of his... how come they can rent such a cheap one?
15k with bathtub, in Hong Kong Isand, is it really possible?
@@cyl1833 m’y partner has a mini bath tub in Saiyinpun but it is really small
Wow is it Sai Ying Pun? I thought it is New Territory

SO GLAD HE SAID "SHOES OFFFFFFFFFF"
As someone who lives in HK, I want to say, THIS GUY HAS A LAUNDRY ROOM?!
FR
Uhhh I mean everyone in hk could get a laundry room but it’s just not so common in hk than other places but ngl I don’t have a laundry room lol
Hey there. I’ll be moving to Hong Kong for my studies this year. Any idea about rents in Pokfulam and the vicinity?
I doubt if it is 15k that cheap, especially in HK island
in central or sheung wan, that size... 15k
He personally pays 15K, notice the other dude as well. Maybe that's his roommate, so two people 15k = 30k for that size apartment makes sense.
I once went to Hongkong and stayed for six months there the city never sleeps!,the people are so interesting they have this mix culture of chinese and British it really was fun and hell expensive!,I stayed until i finished all my money then left,i miss it though.❤
Out of all the apartments i saw in this channel , i think this apartment best describes the beachelor apartment
Absolutely gorgeous man 😊

His partner
Someone get this man a fork! Maybe a spoon too.
Get this guy a decent housewarming gift 🥲
Sounds like you want to spoon him
chop sticks too!
I love the blue IKEA bags he uses for laundry, because I do the same exact thing!
i love this!!
Who is he. He is really handsome!
It was quite cheap. When I was there in 2009, I have to pay HKD 20K per month for a smaller room😮
Damn, this is positively huge to tours im used to watching 😂
15,000hkd a month?! That place looks like 120+ sqrft thats a steal in hl already tbh
Prob a 3bdrm with roommate
Perfect!
Edit: For a bachelor 😆
That little bedroom actually looks cozy
Welcome to Hong Kong ❤

It barely has windows. It gives "I live in a box" feel.

That's a NYC 2BR! He's living good 😂😂

I live in hk
Here’s some tip:
You must try the egg waffles and egg tarts!!
egg tarts.. ☺️
same i like egg waffles but not tarts i live in hk
I would say the price is reasonable given it is located at mid levels in HK.
It's huge in hk for 15khkd
Cool
ur gonna get some rly nice house tours
He has a spatula. 🥺
Very nice and clean🎉
He's cute😊
I love the Asian house tours the most
that's a RARE decent-looking place in HK.
This is really nice
It's a cool apartment, just wonder why he made the other room a TV room instead of an office when he has an office setup in the living room.
Probably wanted a more private space since the living room has the main entrance. May be too noisy with neighbors also in living room for watching TV!
Really nice house this man have!
This beautiful looks
You can totally tell he is a only child and loves his Mom but dude you don't have a fork priceless 😅😅 Mom shows up next day with entire truckload of utensils furniture and forks 😅😅😅

So much money for a cupboard
I wish I can see you :( (btw I’m in Hong Kong)
tidy and minimalist

imaging eating cup noodles with a spatula.
this feels insanely expensive considering some places Ive seen for rent in china. like 1/10th the cost
i do live in hong kong.these apartments are very expensive like the smallest house takes like 10000$ hkd a year

I know the tv box, we watch Love Coming Home
Love, love, love it.
It reminds me of my friends house when I’d play when I was littler
He's cute..so is his house..🥰💯🌠
Bro is having the proper bachelor pad experience with the floor-bed and one plate. All he needs is a mat and some dumbbells 😂
Dude I literally live in HK
$2000 to live in this box? I think London is doing aight 😂
For real. I'm taking in a tenant. They will have more of everything for the same price!
Lol funny how everything is relative, that seems like a steal to me for 2k
So you're saying the brits want to colonize more before 1997
I rent my apartments in Boston for a lot more... HK seems to be affordable. But I think salary is a lot lower in Hong Kong
I love this
Cute apartment for a cute guy.
