Great job on this video! I have never done this, but with your video, I feel confident that I could do it by following your instructions! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!!!
You are very welcome, Martha! Thanks for tuning in and for the positive feedback!
I have 3 citrus trees in 26” pots for 10-15 years. Valencia Orange and Eureka lemon had even been in the ground, but were not doing well so I dug them up. I can control water, fertilizer, & pruning. Fantastic. 🧡💛💚 PS they started out in small pots and gradually got repotted. 🤗
Very informative step by step video. Lots of great information. Much appreciated!
Thanks for tuning in Jay!
I love Kathy’s videos!!!!! Have learned so much from her!
Awesome to hear, Julianne! Glad you are loving the videos we have been putting together!
Let me add a tip next time. Put it in the pot while it's in the container. Still sell it. Get the soil tamped down everything where you want it in the pot. With the plant centered then take it out as flower pot loose from the roots. Drop it in the hole
Thank you! Learned so much!
One thing I'm wondering about- the leaf miner info- would cutting off the affected leaf stop the nasty little things?
Great info. Thanks a lot..I wish you guys have some classes to teach people like us...
Growing citrus is like having a business :)
ok great info cause i just ordered a meyer lemon citrus tree yesterday on the 10th
Great informative video! Thanks 😊
Thanks Patti! Glad you found it helpful! :)
Thanks for explaining why steps are being done. Just bought 4 plants from big box store was going to pot in 10 gal pots, now it will be 4 gal. Original pots only gallon.
A neighbor gave me an orange tree with thick beautiful roots., that was in her front yard. It has more than 2 doz of green fruits and flowers. It was dug with care, I used a big pot like the one you showed. Adding 3 sticks of citrus food. Hopefully, it will survive, it seems to be doing OK. This was 2 weeks ago, and only some of the flowers that already had green fruit have fallen off the tree. It is about 4' high.
Always great info!
Love it, thanks for watching and giving us feedback, Naomie!

Very informative Thank You! Can I use the insect spray to avoid leaf curl on my plumeria leaves?
That was really helpful - thank you! I've heard that you can grow lemon trees indoors. Is that true?
Yes, get a Dwarf lemon tree. Use Organic soil, and grow lights. Or, put plant by a very sunny (6-8 hours of sun) widow.
how wonderful
Thank you for tuning in!
I want the plastic table you're using. What's it called and where do I buy one?
It's a double-decker wagon/shopping cart for customers to use at our store.
How how large is the pot you’re using?
So my Green Thumb semi-dwarf Wash. navel is about 4 years old in a big terra cotta pot in my yard. It has made 1 orange. The blossoms drop like crazy. I water when the soil is dry and the wind is high to the bottom runoff. What can I put in that pot now as the fruit is setting to revitalize it? Thanks! I just put EB Stone citrus fertilizer in.
I have the same problem with a lemon tree.
How much of the iron would you apply when it was time…and when would that be?
Wish I can find E B stone here in Texas
How To Plant A Citrus Tree In A Pot So It Bears Tons Of Fruit (Complete Guide)
Yep, that's what the video is called :)
I live in Wisconsin so I have to bring my citrus plant indoors for the winter. Over the winter the plant looses most of the leaves. Is this normal? And I can't get fruit.
move to california lol
I have planted few verities in the pot.
One of them has already developed fruit
So it is recommended to apply fertilizer to young fruit trees?
Osmocote is good
Worm casting and fish fertilizer
does citrus take a few years to produce fruit though?
Hey...😉
Is there a transcript for reference re info?
There isn't a written transcript, unfortunately, but the video will be available on our UA-cam channel at anytime you may need it for your convenience!
