We Ditch the Caravan for CAPE YORK 2021 | Bloomfield Track | Elliot Falls

- WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER VIDEO!
In this one we hit Cape York.
We start at Cape Tribulation and take the Bloomfield track to Cooktown.
We spend a couple of days there then start heading up the PDR to the Jardine River Ferry.
Our favorite camp along the way was Jardine River National Park where we got to swim in the fresh, pristine, croc free waters at Fruitbat Falls, Eliot Falls and Twin Falls.

Elm beach is great, I just walked out into the bush and dropped our alcohol before entering the restricted area, just went back there and picked it up on the way back out. Worth the visit
We actually thought of doing this 😂 thought it might not be there when we came back though haha

Eliot Falls was awesome. Stayed there in 2011. No bookings back then, we got in early. loving the videos.

Should have gone to elim beach guys. It is one of the best spots on the Cape, do it on the return trip😀
Yeah wish we could have but as you saw we had too much alcohol on us ☹️
@@CaravanAdventureAus yep smells like a big scam to me, whilst we did abide by the law, who would take 2 cartons of beer all that way then sell to the locals, 85 bucks a ctn up the cape, laws are ridiculous, they could easily double the quota and not have any ill effects hey.

Cant wait to see you get to the tip, pity it was too wet to do the tele track. Fruit bat falls is one place we want to go but it was good to see the twin falls, Which one would you recommend?

We would recommend Twin Falls. But both are just a 10 minute drive from each other so do the both if you have time.
If you book early you can camp Eliot Falls (Jardine National Park). This camp is walking distance to Twin Falls and Eliot Falls. 👍🏽

We left the caravan in Mossman at Creeks Edge Park. You can find them if you google search the name. They sometimes are able to store caravans but you’ll just have to ask 👍🏽

Hey Anthony we stored ours at a friends place in Mossman. I think Lakeland and Laura do storage on the way up to the cape. Not sure on prices
