Was surprised to see the croc warning sign at Calliope. Thought they started higher up. Cheers, dd

We have had lots of crocs sighting warnings in Gladstone. Just went fishing yesterday and seen warning posts of sightings of crocks written in paint on our jetties whilst fishing ( which scared me a tad ) so please always be aware xo love your work you guys xo

Happy New Year, Bryce and Chelsea. Try stuffing you pork roast with tin peaches and garlic and put some in the pan. When cooked. Add wine to the pan and put on stove top and make gravey out of it.

Regarding crocs - you used to be able to safely swim in Yeppoon without encountering crocs... but as with everything things change. We are starting to see them more frequently now. A legacy of the flooding over the last couple of decades washing crocs out from the local Crocodile Farm. The crocs seem to have adapted to the slightly cooler conditions here.

We were told occasional cricket sightings west side of Fraser Island. We always treated that as the furtherest south.

Okay, so crocs are found as far south as the Mary River in Maryborough. They get thinner on the ground south of Gladstone/Tannum Sands, but don’t make the mistake of thinking that there’s hardly any crocs so I should be fine. It only takes one crocodile to ruin your day.

Thats good to know! Absolutely right there's a reason they've been around for so long!

11:50 From the people I have spoken to, from Bundaberg - south is safe at present. Prob because the Eastern Australian current is warming up. Both soft and hard corals are starting to grow more southerly direction too.

The first led is warm white, 3000k and the second is cool white 5000k. Also, have a look at 48 led flat pad. If you want and can you can put in two pads.

cut off line is Bundaberg... southern part of the reef. stingers start around Bundy. Can ruin a day in the water. Ive seen tiger sharks in the shore break around there. Crocs is Cairns. Mackay has that steep shore incline so sharks get you there. Crocs on that hike at Hinchinbrook. Bundy you need to start double checking the water for stuff (not crocs) - crocs more townsville cairns - they find em miles off shore. Noosa can get bad jellies but Bundy upwards is the cut off for not getting in the sea without stinger suit and or alone and or dawn dusk coz you might be lunch. Crocs will track you - if you go in the water once - do not go in again. its what i hate about FNQ and NW WA the water looks amazing....some of those beach spots are perfect but you cant swim - james price point - hot AF - cant swim coz a crock will get you. Madness...its like touring a brewery and not being able to sample

Pity you didn't mention Clairview where you had your morning tea break. Its a favourite stop for me, one of only 2 places where the Bruce Highway meets the sea. The other being Cardwell. Clairview is very peaceful and when the tides out you can walk way out from the rest area there.

Been in Yeppoon for 45 years never has anyone been taken and if you swim on the main beaches as well as Kemp and Lammermore you will be fine, but yes they do see them every now and then,

Im a third generation dairy farmer in country Queensland and i own a a large parcel of land (over 80,000 acres) and only a small portion of that is alocated to dairy and a small portion to macadamia trees and lyvhees. The rest is being replanted to its natural state. Where my property os the road isnt evem marked on a map as thats how my grandfather wnted it. Locsl council wanted to put our last name on a road sign and offically add it to street directories. But as it isnt very long and we are the only farm gate on it, its stayed unamed ever since. But over the past 6 or 7 years we have had back packers and young ones in jacked up four wheel drives decked out for camping, decide it is fine for them to enter onto my property through my front gate and camp ovee night without my peemission let alone seeking it. As recently as two months ago i had a group of em from victoria show up late in the afternoon just before milking . there was 4 trucks and each truck had a couple and their dogs. I imediatley asked them to remove themzelvss off my property and pick up after their dogs and i coped a mouthfull of abuse. It wasnt until i returned with my rifle pursuader did they take me seriously. Ive had foreign backpackers do the same theng only thing is they come in after midnight. The last stray was a couple and their friend, the frind had a motorhome and the other people had a big caravan and three axle caravan, the came in and thought it was okay to setup halfeay down my driveway on a flat plain. I told them politley that they were tresspassing and they had to leave imediatley. So ive had to lock my gate and erect signs saying camping overnight on the road or across my driveway was not permitted. I do milking twice a day amd the cattle come in the front gate and up the road. Cars and such just get in the way and i dont need it. As far as si am concerned if people by a motorhome, caravan, camper etc, you should have no worries payinng for a site fee.

How did Chelsea go with her fishing at Notch Point? I'm finding in your vids that you start something in the video or story and don't finish it off. Anyway I am enjoying your videos.

It’s fine to swim in Yeppoon. Never heard of anyone not swimming here because of crocodiles 🙄 There have been occasional sightings of crocodiles moving through - at which time they are out of their territory and not hunting.
