The Big12 will have ASU or Iowa State. Notre Dame is in. Thats leaves the 12th spot up for grabs between Ole Miss, Miami, South Carolina, possibly SMU if they lose the ACC, and slightest possibility of Georgia if they lose the SEC. I could easily make the argument that the best bubble team now is Ole Miss trumping Georgia and South Carolina from its trouncing of both teams. South Carolina is not a great team save for its QB a mini version of Cam Newton but it is on an epic winning streak. Miami is a top scoring offense but overall has been suspect otherwise all season. SMU hasn't faced anyone good IMO and is a possible pretender even losing to the pretender BYU I think most likely a loss to Clemson and they may be out. Ole Miss is the most talented bubble team with a top ranked offense and defense and its only downside is its pathetic robotic coaching. I think a good argument can be made for Ole Miss if Georgia loses the SEC championship game. SEC would not be happy if only 3 teams got in due to a Georgia loss but the ACC may not be happy with only 1 team and if Miami is left out. Root for UNLV, Texas, SMU in the conference championships. Texas easily wins if they play Manning but they won't so Georgia probably win this one again and Ole Miss is left once again praying for a miracle. There is still a slim chance. Stay hopeful, it sure does seem OM has 9 lives this season and its up to its last. Kiffin, if a playoff miracle does happen, please come to your senses and run Bentley and Thomas as the RB tandem and kick the damn fieldgoals.
SMU is in regardless. They are not going to drop them out for losing the ACC title game. They also went 8-0 in conference play. Clemson wins the field is set. It would make their title games meaningless.
