What's the argument for Alabama? Strength of schedule? South Carolina's is better. A big win vs. Georgia? Ole Miss beat the Dawgs by more. Strength of record? That's just a function of strength of schedule, and frankly any record that includes losses to Oklahoma and Vanderbilt -- including one blowout -- isn't very "strong."
@ A win over a Top 12 Clemson team on the road - which feels like a pretty big piece of a resume, especially this time of year - moved South Carolina up... one spot. A win over 5-6 Auburn at home moved Alabama up... two spots. THE RIG IS IN!

I remember coach Bowden saying if you expand the playoffs to include more teams you’ll still be arguing about the lower spots. Someone will always be left out and feel slighted…looks like he was right!
I think a big reason that Tenn wins dont look that great is because they actually crippled the teams to where they couldnt win more games. Out of 12 games, only 4 opposing QBs finished the game. Vols should be hosting OSU.
The big 10 is underestimating Tennessee. Nobody is afraid to play Ohio State in Columbus after what Michigan and Nebraska did to them at home. I think the Big10 committee is thinking that Tennessee is somehow the weak link of the SEC schools. They are going to run the table meanwhile giving Bama an easy road to the championship. GA & TX have to play for a 3rd time? This needs to get fixed
@ yeah, Beck throws an INT every 2.7 attempts and Ewers every 2.3 attempts. While Beck leads Ewers in INT’s he also leads Ewers in every other passing stat that matters! Just strange you left that part out. But I guess that did not fit your narrative.
Clemson wouldn’t get a bye. Arizona St would get the bye and Clemson would be the 12 seed since they are out of the top 12 and Az St is ranked ahead of them
What’s dumb about this scenerio is you possibly get Oregon playing Ohio St twice and then Penn St a second time. No match up with a different conference until the championship game.
100% they wouldn't be downplaying the relevancy of the SEC Championship if any other team other than TX in. Now the conference championship is meaningless lol
Well its easy as hell to downplay it. The team they are playing (and beat them at home already) just went to 8 overtime’s at home against a 7-5 ACC team who almost beat them with physicality instead of finesse. Don’t give me that “it was a rivalry game” bullshit.
Well Cousins , South Carolina is essentially an rightfully a two loss team and ends the second half of the season’ the hottest teams in the (SEC) ! the committee should rank them as such , I say this under No duress and of my own free will , in coach big O’$ Cajun accent, GeauxTigahs 🥃🥃🥃🥃

oh wow Alabama got in with two losses to 0.500 teams imagine my shock
Shane is drinking a Yeungling Golden Ale. That is a beer from Big 10 footprint.
Why would SC be mad about being behind two teams that beat them
Lol fr
I'm a Tennessee fan so I get it lol. Not really...
This committee will screw UGA the first chance they get. Better win Saturday Dawgs! This is their first round.
I couldn't agree more. We drop one more, Ole Miss or Miami takes our spot.
I think it’s key that SMU is number 8. Means there’s a chance that they get left out if they lose bad.
I think Bama could still get in with a Clemson win, if it’s a blowout.
They will get in regardless.
Don’t give a fuck about the whole state of Alabama
Mizzou loves Cousin Shane!
sec needs to drop the championship game or they should turn it into an sec playoff

You are super smart!

THE RIG IS IN!
@ Let’s go Clemson!
🏈🏈🏈
SC beats #12 Clemson and moves up 1 spot but Alabama beats unranked Auburn and moves up 2 spots? How does that work??

Vols running through everybody !!!! GBO 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊
Texas makes it to the SEC championship in year 1 and now the game is meaningless. How convenient 🤘🏾😂
Lol see ya in Snowy Colombus OH OH OH 🌨
Not afraid of Ohio State 😂
love the show
bama may get boat raced first round or may win it all
Even when Bama is hated or resented they draw the audience. They also bring a huge fan base with a love /hate demand on them!
Don’t give a damn about the whole state of Alabama
I remember coach Bowden saying if you expand the playoffs to include more teams you’ll still be arguing about the lower spots. Someone will always be left out and feel slighted…looks like he was right!
I bet ai could make a good field...
SC only won 2 top 25 teams mizzou and Clem. Bama and Georgia won 3 top 25 wins. Look it up I got a spreadsheet on it
Vandy was ranked at the time. A&M as well
I think a big reason that Tenn wins dont look that great is because they actually crippled the teams to where they couldnt win more games. Out of 12 games, only 4 opposing QBs finished the game. Vols should be hosting OSU.
They would make an argument for Bama if it was only a 4 team playoff. The bias is real

Tenne got screwed
F*** bull shit.
Tennessee should definitely be hosting
Don't be scared. Tennessee can beat both those teams
Putting Alabama in with three losses two of which is against 6 win teams!
Miami over Bama.
I like what cousin Shane says but the longhorns have 0 wins vs top 25
BTW Beck leads the SEC in TD passes (28)
He also leads the SEC in interceptions
@ yeah, Beck throws an INT every 2.7 attempts and Ewers every 2.3 attempts. While Beck leads Ewers in INT’s he also leads Ewers in every other passing stat that matters! Just strange you left that part out. But I guess that did not fit your narrative.
After championship games, Vols will get a home game and move up one spot
That Michigan AD does not want that
They want Texas to play GA again so one will eliminate the other. Two of the highest vegas favorites to win
Georgia would drop
Clemson wouldn’t get a bye. Arizona St would get the bye and Clemson would be the 12 seed since they are out of the top 12 and Az St is ranked ahead of them

Im a Dawg okay, but Lane Whiffen is funny as $hit wid dem retweets...go give em that ..

Ain't got nothing to do with Texas being in the game, pay attention u fucking morons
SC beats #12 Clemson and moves up 1 spot but Alabama beats unranked Auburn and moves up 2 spots? How does that work??
I agree but if SC wanted to make a case for themselves they should have blown out Clemson (like GA did)
Because bama beat SC
@@tankj1346Bama lost to 2 unranked teams. All SC losses were to ranked teams.
Did anyone else lose at home to unranked teams? Besides Ole Miss
Texas has played six of the 7 worst SEC teams on the season! Those numbers are skewed!
If head to head doesn’t matter then there is no reason to play the games.
Nailed the teams, but ND/PSU, OSU/UGA, and UM/UA are all flipped.
Boise. Now that’s a joke. 😂😂😂😂😂
This CFP is the biggest F'n joke.
Its still going to be cool to watch
Bama should not get in.
Period.
I really don't believe Alabama is one of the best 12 teams but South Carolina is.
Agree.
Everyone knows Alabama has no business in the playoffs.
SMU loses they are going to put bama in watch and see
