Small typo at the end confusing people. I say that Parasocial takes place EARLIER than Closing Shift. This was a typo in my script and I meant to say LATER. My bad 😊
The good ending makes the stalker less creepy than what you imagine, I mean he is still a creepy dude, but I think being stalked by someone that is being paid to do it is a bit less scary than by a nutjob completely obsessed with you.
In a way...? Knowing it was all a plot helps out because the protagonist was safe all along and the stalker would not harm her in a permanent way, but it still is extremely creepy.
Chilla's Art does an excellent job with atmospherics, and with such low graphics and no vocals, no one character can be fully read or trusted. They really know how to make everyone around you seem like a suspect
Makes sense how her ex boyfriend turned out the way he did. Having his family do all that. To try and get her back? My mother would have buried me for attempting this psychotic shenanigan.
Are they? it's actually one of the few ones that doesn't have just your classic paranormal stuff. There's like 4 of those and they have many more games than that
I watched a walkthrough of this game and I still felt unease and paranoia just as an observer. The creator of this game did an excellent job with the immersion and creating the building sense of dread.
The best part for me is during her dream, we have to run in a short timeframe and at first most of us will lose and the chat appears every time we restart is such a clever way for the developers to get their message across. In real life, we can't restart and have people comment: "oh you're dead ?" "let's start over" "you need to do this". They acknowledge that just bringing real-life issues to game can make people become overexposed to the point of being less aware of how terrified & "unreplayable" those moments can be.
SPOILER from above video: If Parasocial takes place after the Closing Shift, and the same girl can be seen still working in the cafe, then she must have survived the attack (thank goodness!). The fact she still works there though is brave.
SIX years ago i started listening to kpop and even if kpop it's diffrent from streaming, parasocial relationships are so bad It leads to stalking, death threats and many other things. So this game hit really close to a piece of my life
Can honestly fully agree with you. Being a passing fan of kpop since 2015, it’s really troubling watching many fans become so attached to their idols, that simple humans things like dating or marriage are extreme taboos to the point it leads to massive amounts of hate and death threats, usually towards the woman of the relationship. It’s gotten so bad that a female idol and male idol cannot even make eye contact with one another without dating rumors circulating. It’s crazy to see how bad it’s gotten as the age of tte internet has evolved
As soon as I heard Chilla's I was hooked. I mean, I was already hooked because every single one of your uploads is excellent and I enjoy listening to you very much. But you + Chilla's Art games is just perfection.
I WAS WAITING FOR YOU ON THIS I literally saw my sister play this and i LEFT running outta the room knowing you would do a video on it MY PLATE IS READDDYYY
I love that this is literally why you don't download things from random links in chats or comment sections. Vtuber downloads Spyware and then the obvious thing happens is a good synopsis for this game
I was worried this was a i got a stalker and need to explain to my audience whats going on and the the story behind the concept. Lol glad its just another chilla game
I don't quite follow the logic of the guy mourning Hasaku indicating that this is set before Hasaku's death. Doesn't it make more sense that he's mourning Hasaku's death/"disappearance", and that this game is set after?
I actually had to stop watching a streamer play this game at one point because at the time, I thought I was dealing with a stalker (or the beginning of one). Really made me uncomfortable.
I saw and article for top 10 best analog horror games and the Closing Shift was the 10 place and in the description of the game it said that the game is set in the 1990s based on the phone the protagonist is using in the game and that Parasocial is set many years later in present day I don't know the only outher two chillas art games that have a specific time there set in is Jisatsu set in year 1999 since found footage was popular then thanks to Blair witch and Missing Children is set in year 2005 at the beginning of the game protagonist uses a phone that was used in 2005 I Google it up my self usually with theses games they don't really say when there set in what time period but I guess it's up to us to figure out
i don't mind the game but it really feels like the new trendy word. Now everyone is called parasocial, like years ago simp before it became funny then accepted. This game is fantasy, not reality. Almost nobody is like this
it seems like you forgot this game is set in Japan , there are women only train wagons to fight against Chikan and many dark rabbit holes, you should look up the recent Saya HIYAMA fiasco , ye too Many are like this ....

So I guess our protagonist in The Closing Shift was able to get rid of her stalker. They must pay well at that cafe if she wanted to stay there.
but didnt he say parasocial takes place years earlier than the closing shift? at 12:39
That was a typo in the script. My bad
@@GamingHarryYT Ahhh okay. Thanks for the clear up!
I'll stay there 24/per hour if that happened to me 😂😂
@RefRed_King you mean 24 minutes per hour/7 days a month

A person being paid to stalk you will stop after they stop getting paid, when will a person obssessed with you stop?
Bruh Chilla's Art is really good at making creepy games ❤
You have incredibly low standards
Quick too
Chilla's Art does an excellent job with atmospherics, and with such low graphics and no vocals, no one character can be fully read or trusted. They really know how to make everyone around you seem like a suspect
Not to mention they do a great job of giving players the experience of being stalked by creepy people in general
Makes sense how her ex boyfriend turned out the way he did. Having his family do all that. To try and get her back? My mother would have buried me for attempting this psychotic shenanigan.
The thing about Chilla's Art is that most of the games are actually in-real life stuff.
Are they? it's actually one of the few ones that doesn't have just your classic paranormal stuff. There's like 4 of those and they have many more games than that
@@Jhud69 They're talking about with stalkers, like this and The Closing Shift.

Their games are good in creating an ambience and experience to players and viewers as well

Closing shift scared the shit out of me. Never had a stalker but the concept scared me to death
This game had me up until Rikiya convincing both his uncle and his mother to help him stalk and harass his ex girlfriend. What the fuck.
SPOILER from above video:
If Parasocial takes place after the Closing Shift, and the same girl can be seen still working in the cafe, then she must have survived the attack (thank goodness!). The fact she still works there though is brave.

i think it's greatly exagerated by victims wanna be.
It's the trendy witchhunt. Nobody gives a shit about streamers.

Bro keep up the good work. Two videos a week now this is a treat.
New upload from Harry. What a great reason to open bottle of whisky and enjoy the evening. Cheers everyone 😁🥂
The graphics are the most unsettling part of their games. I love it!
I WAS WAITING FOR YOU ON THIS I literally saw my sister play this and i LEFT running outta the room knowing you would do a video on it
MY PLATE IS READDDYYY
I love chilla's art's backstory of games. The fact they're all connected through their characters and such adds up to that.
Nice work Gaming Harry ❤😊
Cory needs to play this bro its perfect for him
What a lovely neighborhood to live, nothing but psychopats or stalkers or serial killers.
Nice video man
The Closing Shift girl is built different! You couldn’t pay me enough to keep working at that coffee shop. 😂
I love that this is literally why you don't download things from random links in chats or comment sections. Vtuber downloads Spyware and then the obvious thing happens is a good synopsis for this game
Yooooo, new vid!!
Was a subscriber from 10 k onwards, damn the channel blew up, good for harry 😅
Woah…very timely was looking for this
Let's go
It's good that this one has a good ending...
One of my favorite game they made ☺️
I literally just finished playing this game😂
you should do the fear and hunger lore if u havent already !
Oh awesome! Didn't know Chilla made a new game
Man, Japan really likes their stalker characters.
I don’t know if you covered it or not but I would love to see a explanation on fatal frame crimson butterfly
I was worried this was a i got a stalker and need to explain to my audience whats going on and the the story behind the concept. Lol glad its just another chilla game
The plot reminds me a bit of the Oshi No Ko!
it's a dumb anime fantasy about non existent problems. This kind of stalking is one in a bezillion.
“The D.E.N.N.I.S System” The Game
Parasocial with umm...obsessive tendencies.....wait that's called erotomanic
Every character in this game run so fast
sheeeeesh we eating good
another excellent vid.
it cool same place with diferend story
Wait i need my Popcorn!! 🍿
Best wishes
This entire game could have been prevented if nina downloaded the game on a virtual machine
The creepy guy rummage through Nina's trash.

@@GamingHarryYT Minor spelling mistake go brrrrrr.
Bro these stalking games stay freaking me out
So... Any chance of a video on Karaoke any time soon👀👀👀
I thought there was more to the ending. What about learning her Asuka was the programmer for the game at the end?
This was a trip
I actually had to stop watching a streamer play this game at one point because at the time, I thought I was dealing with a stalker (or the beginning of one). Really made me uncomfortable.
Chillas games are all basically “what it’s like to be a woman” sim
I like how our parasocial relationship is proceeding. Just kidding.
Can you do aka monto
God these games are so creepy
Can you do the karoke
in summary, YOU ARE SCREWED NO MATTER WHAT.
Turn on the camera 🎵🎵🎶
Could you do labyrinthine? There's little to no explanation of the story
Don't look behind you...
Lol that’s so irritating Cuh just ran into the elevator each time like WHAT?
So this story starts because lady practically downloaded a Malware
no she dumped her ex.
Why are games like these requires a gaming pc to run anyway
Way too spooky
Jinnytty 💀💀💀
do you wanna roleplay this irl Harry? 😏

This game did a great job of making everyone you spoke to act and seem suspicious.
What was the name of that guy that offed himself because Bjork started dating a black dude without asking him first?
FIRST OF ALL WHY WOULD SHE PLAY THAT CREEPY ASS GAME WIHT LIGHTS OFF
Note if you run into the name again in the future. Asuka is usually pronounced "aa-skuh"
Not creepy just a typical streamer and onlyfans girl fan interaction 😔
Why does that not make it creepy?
i don't mind the game but it really feels like the new trendy word. Now everyone is called parasocial, like years ago simp before it became funny then accepted.
This game is fantasy, not reality. Almost nobody is like this
Happens a lot more than you’d think. But you clearly don’t care, so why would you pay attention?

Wait, so in the Connections To Closing Shift segment.
If Parasocial does take place AFTER Closing Shift, then the female worker was alive.
Can you play more of chillas art games harry? Would love to see you cover their old games as well
