Fantastic watch. I wear a 5167 most days - the Aquanauts are such perfect watches for every day wear. If I traveled more a 5164 would be ideal.

Congrats, superb watch, if you travel a lot it will become your biggest companion, and because of the looks and rubber strap nobody will know what you are wearing, only "connoisseurs"...I never take it off when I'm on a trip...

Congrats! Very cool watch.The only thing that bothers me is that the 0 and 2 in the numerals 10 and 12 seems to be at a lower height . Maybe it is just the camera angle. I really like the high quality of your videos to see all the details :)

Thanks for the review! A very good one. One question, if I may. There are a lot of 5164As on the secondary market with prices that reflect the demand. What is the regular MSRP for the 5164A. Some info that I've been able to find is between $28.000 to $30.000,-USD. Is that correct?

What a beauty ... to me it’s even better than the nat.
It's a beautiful watch but I wouldn't go as far as being better than the nautilus.
Congrats, fantastic watch, and thank god you didnt buy the orange second hand version, which looks really cheap. I prefer it way over the Rolex GMT. You can soon open a watch store ! My "black-and-white sportswatch" is an Omega 2254 on a OME black leather stitched strap with OME deployment buckle. It has the same overtones of a high-contrast black-and-white sportswatch, not as luxurious as a 5164 tho... Loves "thin" black/white sportswatches with sexy black strap and deployant ! I prefer the 5164A over the 5711 (too conservative).
So lets sat I have the rose gold version and want a black strap I could change it?
What camera equipment are you using?

Not a fan of their sports range. This one with the grenade sort of finish on the dial looks odd.
@07:17 , second hand at 12 o'clock but minute hand sitting between two minute markers? I didn't expect that at this price.

If you put your Submariner or Daytnona on a rubber or leather strap I think it would weight as much as your 5164A. But very high quality review/video as always !!
Probably .. but Rolex don’t sell any steel watches on rubber / leather so not a fair comparison if I put it on an aftermarket strap if that makes sense! The rose gold YM on the oyster-flex is definitely heavier than the 5164 so is the gold Daytona. Cheers bud 👍🏼

Why do they give the watch in a different box? I always wonedered haha, maybe someone knows :)
Photocopy the part where you add your details for the archive and then send it off and keep original to keep the value of the watch etc
You don’t need to fill up the card u can do it online on the Patek website as well
Photo copy the part and then scum people online by sending them a cheap plastic copy from China

The second time zone hand is indeed too fine/small for lume to be added (even on the border).
I didn't know it was so light. It's ideal for every day use without it ever being uncomfortable.
You discussed there were different strap colours like blue and green. Do you think Patek would ever make this travel time -model with a blue dial for instance?
Hi Lucas! Hmm interesting abt the blue TT. It’s possible like they did with the 5168: www.patek.com/en/collection/aquanaut/5168G-001 but they might increase the size as well making it 42mm. I think the next we will c in a couple of years will be a Perpetual Calendar on the aquanaut.
@@LondonWatchCollector If they increase the size, that would be possible indeed. :) I don't think they can fit a Perpatual Calendar in the case now. But it will be slightly heavier then as well.
