    You had the best sounding test. Funny thing is everyone else's review sounded like a typical lav mic. I think it's because they don't know how to properly adjust gain till you find the best sound. Thanks Joseph!

    Thanks for the review. Looks like an interesting product. Shame they priced it quite high. I think if it was 150-180 it would have been a good option over dji and zoom. At 250 in UK, makes more sense to pay the extra 50 for dji or zoom.... well at least until comparison videos come out.

    Thanks for the review. I've watched lots of them. I'm ready to order, but might wait for a sale. I hope blank or custom button covers are offered. I don't like paying $179 for a product, then having to advertise for it. I plan to buy a $10 coldshoe adapter so I can face the receiver both ways on my camera. I shouldn't need to do that.

    You showed using recording software, but not the camera app. None of the videos about this product show how easy it is to use with the iPhone video app. It would have been nice to see video recorded with real time audio (not synced later). Nice review though, thanks!

    With $50 off promo it’s $199.99 ($249.99) but I was hoping that it would be retail $199.99 and I think that would be a good pricing to add competition to holly land mic and movo mic and godox mic.

    Hi thank you for the great video☺️
    I'm looking for a solid wireless microphone, mainly for UA-cam vlogs and Instagram reels. My plan was to actually purchase the DJI Mic, but now I got a coupon from my company for a website which would allow me to purchase the anker m650 for only 30 dollars.
    Unfortunately this website doesn't offer the DJI Mic. My question is, is the sound quality that different between this 2 mics and would it be recommended to get the Anker m650 for cheap or invest the 300 dollars in the dji mic?

    • @JosephKim
      @JosephKim  10 місяців тому

      I have not tried dji, so I can't say for certain, but M650 did sound pretty good to me. Even if dji sound is really really good, not sure if it would be more than $250 worth difference 🤔

    I've tried to connect it to my ASUS Rog Strix with windows 10 but the computer AnkerWorks device doesn't recognize it. Neither the smartphone app that doesn't support the AnkerWork M650. I don't get it. Is it a regional feature? Only to US? Not Europe?

      To note, testing a mic over a desk changes the characteristics of the mic picking up, can make it sound more muffled as it boosts lower mid frequencies. Would be good to hear another test away from the desk to confirm

    • @tyngjim
      @tyngjim Рік тому +2

      Sounded good to me. When you do a live mic switch mid-recording, you’re likely to notice the changes between them. Sounded like it had extra gain on lower-end frequencies, with flatter mids and highs, which would explain the muffled sound compared to his first mic. I’ll bet this can all be adjusted in post if needed.
