I would not say great, but he looks ok, not my cup of tea, but who am I to make that assertion anyway. However, you are right, people have an obession with looking 20something and let's face it, you will not look 18 at 45 no matter what. I have seen people age very well, but no, 50 is not the new 20.
He did say he wants to stay looking the same for a longer period of time compared to what he would normally but I guess he also wants to look a few years younger
Yknow what would reduce my stress and aging? Having the money that this guy spends on doctors and anti-aging procedures in a week. Boom - I’d be 25 again!
Even though he looks like someone middle aged. According to math, he will live until he is 200+. He also published all his stuff online, so you can also do it too if you have the money to even do it. Which is why I think he is really cool for doing this.
All of this anti-aging buzz being spewed from the ultra rich lately has had a reverse psychology effect on me, I used to be terrified of getting older and now that I see how creepy and depressing it looks to prevent it I’m actually looking forward to embracing my older body
The ultra rich do not want to die, because it feels good to flex on your inferiors. Once they lose their money, if they could lose their money, they'll expediate matters fast fast.
Because it's primarily about testing physical signs of biological aging, not just "looking younger". If that was the case he could just get a ton of plastic surgery like most celebrities do There's a difference between longevity science and cosmetic anti-aging
@@Abby-ug4xc It’s also about cosmetic beauty, he said he wanted to not only feel but look 18 again. He literally compares himself to his 18 year old son. Even with all he’s doing he can’t achieve that because no matter what you’re still going to age forward. I’m not shaming him or anything but realistically it’s impossible to turn the clock back on yourself.
@@ItsBanesa Like I said, it's not the primary objective. Removing sun damage is part of reversing cellular damage to the skin (damage is what ageing is). Of course he compares himself to his 18 y/o son. That's the closest you can get to a biologically identical control subject. But he also acknowledges he's not getting the youthful volume/baby fat back in his face naturally. He has turned the clock back, based on cellular markers of ageing. No he's not going to reverse 30 years of damage just through diet and exercise, but he's demonstrated that you CAN age (accumulate cellular damage) slower if you take care of your health. I do think age reversal will be possible in a couple decades though. They've done it to human cells in petri dishes already
If someone asked me, not knowing what he's putting himself through, I honestly would have said 51 or 52. Everyone I know 45 and older looks like they're still in their late 20s to early 30s. This poor guy is aging himself faster by stressing out about aging. He would probably look much younger just allowing himself to live.

(not saying he HAS a trauma or something happened to him when young, but i could see how smth like tht could be a reason for his obsession)
with the gooey slime food and drinks he has, he genuinely gives off alien energy. i can’t imagine living a life without fully formed food that isn’t blended to look like vomit
All I can think of, and I really don't like that I'm thinking of this, but all I can think of is how long it probably takes him to wipe after going 💩. All he's eating is globs of goo. No way is there a clean end to those meals 😅
A few years ago when I was 22, I dated a guy who was 49 who was even more extreme than this dude. He worked in a medical lab testing anti aging drugs. He was 6'4" and weighed like 160lbs, his goal was to be losing more weight. He had a blog and kept a spreadsheet of his treatments and progress. It was really really sad to watch someone both be self obsessed and self loathing to both extremes. Deffo had severe unchecked anorexia twisting into something even worse. Anti aging medical intervention is dysmorphic.
The crazy thing is no 'real man' would want to look 20 something. Its a massive advantage to look more mature as a man providing its a healthy mature look.
Because it's not about looks. If it was about looks he'd just spend the $2mil on plastic surgery How are people still not getting this I don't understand
Not everybody looks for peace. Marie Curie was ibsessed and radiation killed her, but she pushed science forward. Just because you are not passionate doesn't mean others shouldn't be dtriving.
I don't think he's forcing his children, since the daughter isn't doing it. Kids wanna try what parents do, and it's okay if they wanna try some of it. Do hope they realise there's more to life tho.
Teaching kids healthy eating is a positive thing. But he is treating himself as a human experiment. i don't know if he is still married or not. But I hope the Mother is wary of making sure the kids don't develop any extreme eating disorders trying to mimick Dad.
Not trying to defend him but when other parents force kids into existence/ lifestyle in this case that's supported and encouraged. Why is this different?
This is actually sad and disturbing. Our society is so obsessed with youth and adolesce. I'm turning 24 soon and its embarrassing to say but I am feeling so anxious about getting older. Especially as a woman it's like "ideal" is to look like a teenager basically. Which is so f-ed up. I am scared that I will turn into this man if this fear of getting older continues..😔
I was scared of aging from ages 18 to 23. I'm turning 24 this month and this is the first year as an adult and it's actually happy to be getting older😂 I feel more like myself than I have before I don't deal with bs like I used to and I'm much more connected to myself. I'm glad I had this understanding I don't really know what specifically triggered it 1 day I just woke up and I'm like damn I'm glad to almost be 24
Imagine having enough money to eat at the finest restaurants in town everyday for the rest of your life and instead choosing to have a pound of baby poo for every meal
Damn ikr? Like don’t worry so much about physically looking young, enjoy yourself Because I feel like he can’t be happy living like this, just try to be healthy most of the time and live your life to the fullest
Honestly a millionaire just putting himself in a routine, at his own expense, giving us an objective longitudinal data with applicable implications doesn't sound too bad. At least he is contributing to research.
i actually pity him. he has so much and he's so damn unhappy. trying to force his kids into this ridiculous lifestyle and turning it into a competition with his son is just pathetic. he really needs a wake up call
I agree. Whole point of his life is to look young, and that is impossible. I know 45 year old poor men who do nothing and look better than him. So, he is basically torturing himself and doesn't enjoy life for nothing.
@@biljam972 reminds me of that 50 y.o singaporean guy, dude got his routine but nowhere this insane. E.g. nutritious food, exercise, proper sleep schedule, reduce stress.
I’m starving all the time, but I’ve never been happier 👀 How much time has this guy dedicated to “anti-aging?” when it doesn’t seem like he’s actually happy?
@@CordeliaWagner honestly he doesn't really seem all that happy to me. He's constantly chasing something he knows he will never acquire. He spends all his time and money trying to run away from the inevitable end. I bet it gives him terrible anxiety. Plus he has an eating disorder, which I don't know if you've ever had one of those but I can tell you from first-hand experience that they don't help you be happy.
He strikes me as a guy with an eating disorder and is in denial about how happy it makes him, as it tends to be with eating disorders. There's a eating disorder that is obsessed about being as healthy as possible, vegans often fall into this category. "Orthorexic". Having an eating disorder is basically just a coping mechanism that has turned into an obsession, the person feels like they are in control by restricting themselves of certain food etc. Letting a coping mechanism become your entire life is not true happiness it's a cry for help. Many people with unadressed mental health issues tend to fall victim to some sort of eating disorder. He should probably go and get some help instead. His smile is fake when he says he's happy, he looks tired, he looks pale, his eyes look lifeless... He does not look good at all he looks like a crack addict(doing drugs makes people lose weight). It's honestly scary to me that so many comments say he looks good when I think he looks like a goddamn drug addict! Don't encourage people to self destruct their own bodies by saying they look better for it that's so fucked up! That's like on the level of anorexia-fetishists where people literaly think a girl weighing 20 kg is the ultimate sexy because her bones are showing... This is not too far off from that IMO. People need to stop fetishizing the "zero body fat" shit cuz it's basically just the fitness version of anorexia. "OMG all your veins are showing so fucking hot", it grosses me out so much that people can say that and that's somehow normal. Your body is not suppose to be zero fat that is being unhealthy underweight = anorexia.
he seems to struggle with what's commonly referred to as "orthorexia." it seems that very few people in america have a healthy relationship with food, and his extreme diet and exercise is no exception. true health is about moderation and balance. you see the same with body builders. they're not REALLY in it for their health or they wouldn't push their bodies to unhealthy limits and take steroids. they're in it for the aesthetics. we really have a warped view of what health is in america honestly. probably in large part thanks to pervasive diet culture.
@@skrittle555 It's not diet culture, it's our poor quality food that forces us to have to maintain a caloric deficit and constantly feel hungry because our food isn't nutrient dense enough. It's because of our soil and farming practices. We have an abundance of really unhealthy food. Much of our food is banned in other countries.
Well, at 67 I gave up trying to look 19, cause I realized I wanted to actually enjoy what life I have left, and people like him will just look better in their casket than me. Well, maybe not, they have those makeup artists in the funeral homes that do a really good job. 😂
There are a handful of people out there who look fantastic on a vegan diet. Maybe they won the genetic lottery and they are able to convert things they need to be healthy. But most people will not thrive on a plant based diet in the long term.

I've noticed that the more we try hard to look younger the more fast we'll age (physically). I like the concept of aging with dignity which just means simply accepting the fact that our bodies are changing and embrace it. :)
yes even i have seen this with people who obsess with slowing down aging , they seem more old than they actually are...why cant we just accept aging as a natural thing and focus more on ways to reduce inflammation, weaknesses to support much healthier life till the very end..
@@twilightincosmosright? They're stressed over it and also he's obsessed with weight. Being too thin as you get older can actually make you look older.
@@Stuttsis mmm well psychologically talking the stress from obsessing to look younger will affect your physical body by this i mean someone that most of the time is thinking about their "imperfections" or most of the time goes to do things to achieve an almost impossible body goal letting aside other parts of their lives, the people that make many surgical procedures (for aesthetics) don't then to count the fact that it won't stop the aging, the body is not that capable to take so many unnatural changes and with time they may do bad effects on the skin, and then there's the genetic part which is only the fact that we all age in some different ways depending on genetics. With this i'm not trying to say we should not take care of our body's, but taking beauty and youth to an extreme is the dangerous part of it, so the harder someone may try to have that "perfection" or "always young" body, more probably they are making things that will have side effects on their body and their mental health. Sorry for the bad english.
Ironically, he'd look younger if he didn't work out as much and let his face fill out. The hollowed look of his face counteracts his "18 year old body" and he averages out to still looking 40ish. A very healthy 40 but 40 nonetheless.
@@skyegroome223 yes…Johnny Depp has broad, apple-like cheek bones and a rounded face shape. Such face shapes tend to stay youthful looking. Audrey Hepburn is the same…broad, apple-like cheekbones and broad forehead, she still looked ‘cute’ in her late 30s. Miranda Kerr is another one, she’s in her 40s and still has that cute look. Those are pedomorphic facial features…children have broader, more rounded faces.
In my mid-twenties I briefly dated a guy like this (just not as wealthy). He claimed he was 32 but when I met him in person I got the impression that he was probably in his 50s. Even though he lied I gave him a chance for a little while. He was very obsessed with being as healthy as possible; each morning he drank this purple sludge concoction with all these powders and supplements (although he at least admitted that it did NOT taste good). To me it was kind of sad, it seemed like he was doing it because he was terrified of death. He even bragged that he had tested the length of his telomeres and that they compared to someone who was decades younger. It would have been all well and good if he just kept it to himself, but unfortunately he would judge other people for not seeing things in the same way, even talking crap about his female colleagues who were plus-sized. What a jerk! At least this guy seems non-judgmental and he'll probably be the basis for some future scientific discovery or other.

He does look happier than when he was younger. The thing is that people are happy when they're pursuing what they feel is right in their heart, and it looks like this is what it is for him. The thing itself isn't meant to be a blueprint for everyone else because everyone has different drives and desires. I think it's great that he's contributing to science in this way, and being of a similar age to him I can appreciate that he probably feels a lot better than me every day. I don't feel the way he feels about ageing but I could definitely take better care of myself, without giving up all the small pleasures in life.
I have a colleague who is in his mid 40s, does nothing special to his body and looks younger than this dude 😂 Being hungry all the times releases stress hormones and those age you. He is energized from all the cortisol his body is releasing because his body thinks he’s starving.
As someone naturally baby faced and constantly being told I look a decade younger, I started to panic at the few wrinkles I was developing. After seeing this though... I think I'm doing ok. I'd like to just be fit enough to not *feel* old at this point.
I'm concerned about how his obsession will affect his children. He doesn't seem like he's actually enjoying his life, but if it really makes him happy, I can't knock it. The best thing you can do for pain is not become obese. It will place tremendous stress on your joints and organs. Conversely, don’t develop an eating disorder. Eating a whole foods diet with quality animal proteins and organic fruits and vegetables, in healthy portions, and getting a moderate amount of physical activity, is the best and most sustainable way to age slowly.
Work out and don't stop, most types of pain that accumulate in late life are actually due to decades of inactivity piling up. I'm vegan and from a nutricious point of view that diet is very unsufficient. Yes it is fine to eat many vegetables, but you need to eat carbs and proteins. You need to eat cereals, legumes, seeds, nuts, and things derived from that like tofu, seitan, etc are very good sources of protein and important vitamins. The vegans that restrict eating in a vegan diet are not eating healthy. Being vegan is totally healthy if you dont restrict any nutrient from your diet. No doubt he is constantly hungry! Ok, I'm vegan, but I wouldn't eat any of the stuff he's having here. I haaaaaaate that kind of restrictive ultra ''healthy'' veganism, it makes it seems extremely inaccessible. I have IBS and oral allergy syndrome (I can't eat most raw fruits and veggies) so I do have a lot of restrictions... Still, I've been vegan for almost 8 years now, I swear it's not that hard once you know what you're doing! i think it's time to discuss why americans say being healthy means to go everyday at gym, or being extremely fit or even have an exhausting control of what you eat when you don't have a disease that justifies it. Use all your hours in the same activity, never could be healthy, it's an obsession, a trauma.
It sounds like you don't understand the reasons why some people go to the gym. It's not an obsession, it's a routine, and a good one at that. Not only is it stress relieving, it is also a good way to stay physically fit, and a good way to interact with friends. Diets are a bit over the top sometimes, I agree. But if you are obese, you're at a higher risk for a wide variety of diseases, and literally physically disadvantaged. Two thirds of adult Americans are considered overweight, and half of that third (1/3) are actually obese. So you can see why many Americans go on these outrageous diets. Some people genuinely enjoy the gym. Working out is considered a hobby, so don't call people crazed or traumatized for visiting the gym.
@@theedibleone111 it's sounds like you didn't understand my point. I didn't say "people visiting the gym", I described other situations, more related to this video. Getting bigger or fitter than others isn't equal to being healthier. If you wanna be healthy you need to do some activity. But if you get anxious and depressed cause you skipped 1 day of your routine, or you didn't reach a specific body weight, or you ate 10 calories more than your limit, that's a whole different world.
@@j.e.l.m_ that is so true. If you have to stick to SUCH a tight routine so you can live without feeling guilty, a lot gets lost in mental and emotional freedom. We already get pressed into a crazy work/commute schedule that turns like 10 hrs of our daily lives into always the same structure, and I think following the same routine always in our free time makes me question if the time is actually free. It's worth thinking about. Maybe we can be passionate about health and fitness without resorting to guilt.

@@CordeliaWagner honestly he doesn't really seem all that happy to me. He's constantly chasing something he knows he will never acquire.
Exactly. Still wishing him all the best. Maybe he will change the diet.
Whenever I meet vegan people they usually look gaunt and their skin has a greyish tiny with no face volume. They usually look a little off.
There are a handful of people out there who look fantastic on a vegan diet. Maybe they won the genetic lottery and they are able to convert things they need to be healthy. But most people will not thrive on a plant based diet in the long term.

@@piaberling2078 nah you gotta do the Jordan Peterson only beef diet, that's the only way you stay healthy and youthful.
I'm obviously joking, good for you! :)
Can you explain further? How does we age faster if we try too hard?

It's none of my business what they do with their body anyway.
He does look happier than when he was younger. The thing is that people are happy when they're pursuing what they feel is right in their heart, and it looks like this is what it is for him. The thing itself isn't meant to be a blueprint for everyone else because everyone has different drives and desires. All that money to look like buff uncooked chicken
I would call this dedication if he was putting himself through this to see if it would benefit society as a whole. Reading between the lines, you can see he’s really doing it for himself. Having his two oldest join prevents him from having to confront his overall feelings about this experiment. I hope he comes to his senses soon.
rich people aren't really known for their selflessness. No, not even the "charity" types that paint themselves as saviors, while funding their charities with slave labour and exploitation (cough cough Bill Gates).
I still find what this guy is doing to be interesting though.
Not to mention he's using the best of the best in science and medicines that most of the world can't even afford. It would be significant to know/test treatments that everyday people can actually try.
nope he publishes the date free for all and the recipes and treatmensrt too...

You can't fight drooping and collegen loss, it'll show your age everytime.
Eye and cheek gauntness is a tell tale sign, even if you have no wrinkles and baby smooth skin.
Gum receding, hair loss, lip thinning, larger ears and nose, the way your fat sits, it all shows your age.
My under eye bags and under eye collegen shift/droop is how you can easily tell I'm in my mid 30s.
He looks like a teen from a Netflix show so I guess it kinda works 😂😂
I wonder how he was when he was young. Was he that obsessed of his appearance? Remaining young forever? His body will age regardless of the amount of technology, cream products, or exercise he does to his body. That's life that no tool, beside the biology of the atom cells, has the power to reverse.
No actually he didn't even care about his life , I heard his story , a doctor told that he had a body of an old man , and his health was declining , so he started putting work in taking care of his body
@@atbtegyrh7k7yiik7ti maybe by health but his entire focus in this video is literally about his youthful appearance fading away. Dude insane.
Pretty happy to that know I'll age really well with all this fat on my face lol
The food he eats looks so very depressing
This looks like ED body dysmorphia hell, he literally looks middle aged as he should.
His liquid and mush diet are probably why he needs to do so many pelvic floor exercises.
The guy with so many treatments doesn't look well. He looks like he is in his early 50s.. He definitely does NOT look at 20s or 30s. I don't believe his internal body is of an 18 - or 22 year old, because the YOUTHFULNESS does NOT show on his face. He looks like he is around early 50s.
I'm a medical Anti-Aging specialist, I will be 64 this May, my body and face looks much younger than my age and it's not just my body that looks younger but my face is as well.. My body according to medical tests is of a mid 30s year old person. AND NO PLASTIC SURGERY!
My father is 73 this Jan.. though his skin has wrinkles, he can lift 45 kg.. like nothing.. he has never been to the gym but he likes to walk to the market and use fewer transport aids as possible.. and with typical Bangoli Indian diet he so far has Hba1c of 5. We can't afford wealthy treatments anyway..but still we don't have to go hungry all the times.
He may be much more fit and healthier than the average 45 year old but he still looks like he’s steadily approaching 50…
Which is to be expected when you’re steadily approaching 50 lol
I think this is really interesting. But not to be rude but the hairline really ages him and im surprised he hasnt done it yet. Also eating soft food all the time isnt good he needs to chew hard food for jar strength and teeth as well
Hey, he actually did a hair transplant, so what you’re seeing is actually the result.
To his credit, the dude (as far as I know) has not gone under the knife. Cosmetic surgery--combined with his regime--WOULD probably get him to his appearance goal.
Why would you want to live with that, especially if you have all that money?!
Also - my health has hugely improved over the last 18 months and I don’t get sick (colds or anything) anymore. But this dude is insane.
Im glad u dont get sick/colds/etc anymore since the past 18 months.. same for everyone in my family.. but thats probably mostly due to society in general doing a lot more handwashing and masking, post-pandemic.
@@mistyblue2917I used to get colds and the flu several times a year but with masking in public since 2020, I haven’t gotten sick since then! Never going back lol
There is a 80 something year old black woman who is vegan, and she looks younger than him.
She doesn’t do anything special, just grows her own food and eats raw. Regular exercise and lives a happy life.
That’s so sad, I can’t imagine wasting my life away just stressing out about something so natural
It doesn't have to be super duper healthy, you're already removing a lot of bad stuff like cholesterol and hormones, you really don't need to go overboard with it to be relatively healthy (just take your B12 tho)
He's only 45? He's in great shape, but his skin/face looks 50ish. I wouldn't doubt that he has a great lung capacity, but the "skin of a 25 year old?" Umm... I cleaned my glasses and everything, and I'm not buying it.
😂 yes he looks exactly like 45 or older unless he is 25 year old drug user🤣
it's not skin that makes people look old, it's face bone mass loss that starts at 40s and face fat loss
If I were him, I‘d ask for a refund; he still looks 45 to me.
Oh, oh, I know who he reminds me of: Queen Elizabeth I, the virgin queen.
I truly feel sorry for whoever will be by his side on his death bed because you imagine the realization that that is how he lived so many years of his life.
Dr. Shawn Baker (53) appears healthier and younger than this man who spends $2 million a year to stay young.
He looks EXACTLY his age
It's sad he's trying to go back but his face aged really well ._. He should just be thankful for what he has
i think it's time to discuss why americans say being healthy means to go everyday at gym, or being extremely fit or even have an exhausting control of what you eat when you don't have a disease that justifies it.
Why is he liquifying his vegetables? Well-prepared vegetables are delicious. No need to turn it into pureed slop.
That's actually sad, It seems to me like this guy might have some sort of OCD (not joking, I have OCD myself, it just seems like it) It is definitely a really strict way to live life, I feel bad for his son and his daughter when she gets older
His eating disorder is called orthorexia
I was thinking the same. Plus he definitely has an eating disorder.
If he spent that money on a little farm, worked on it, ate the results, and had a glass of wine...
He'd live longer.
But to be completely honest, the experiment is interesting and scary at the same time. There are already so many measurements to anti-age people but I‘ve not seen someone actually trying a fullbody routine. The goal is to be immortal and he could give give a template for others to do so. Not that I support the idea of that but it’s interesting if something so unreal would actually be possible.
He should do all of this in zero gravity,I think gravity plays a big role in the ageing process, idk...
you caught me off gaurd with that "they'll never let a 14 looking 18 year old in the club" line. Almost did a spittake
