Three acres of grass is a couple of hours of mowing with a 42” mower, once a week. Mo doesn’t strike me as a guy who wants to be a yard slave. Hanna, maybe.
Yeah the crap construction houses in Texas where building codes are non-existent and pipes burst after 2 days of 30° weather. Not -30° F mind you but +30° 😂😂
3 acre house...then build tiny homes AirB&B with a bike cleaning station and pump track, it would be a big project but nows the time to do it! That place is blowing up and I'm sure you would have absolutely no problem keeping them filled!
#4. newer construction, decent garage, less yard so less upkeep. Decent sized bedrooms. I'm all about small lots after having big ones. 3hours per week for just mowing and weedeating really eats at your time.
Even compared to Austin, those prices all seem affordable. More than ever, the time is right for a mountain bike/travel/house hunter show. HGTV where are you at?
Heck yes I would. Real estate prices still aren't ridiculous. Don't discount Bella Vista or Rogers either. Talk to Rich Drew. He lives in the Downtown area.
Mo-money, This video idea is perfect timing. I live in SoCal but I'm retiring in a couple of years and there is no way I can afford to live in California once I retire. I've been looking around the different states to see what might work for me. That said, I loved the 2nd home. I think it was 1845 SF with a good size back yard priced at $270K. The upgraded kitchen and master bath did it for me. I don't need 3 acres of land like the 3rd house...too much work at my age. Retirement to me means little to no work and lots of play, and by play I mean riding my bike. Bob T.
@@moandhannahtravel I really hadn't looked at Arkansas yet but my son and my friends and I are planning a trip to Bentonville next April. I'm glad you did this video because now I'm definitely interested. thanks again. Bob T.
I'm in the same situation as your Robert. I had already been looking at Bentonville and this video came up on my notifications. We are also looking at Northern Alabama area, as the cost of living is very low there, with super low property tax rates. Bentonville is going to be more expensive, but it might be worth it.
I mean, the 3 acre lot has a ton of character and is gorgeous, but it's about double the price of all the other houses. I would peg Mo and Hannah as wanting to live in a smaller home to give them more time to ride and travel with less upkeep. Best of luck!
Damn it's amazing what you can get in other parts of the country. Could sell my house here in San Diego and pay cash for a house there. So tempting but as screwed up as Cali is, born and raised here and just can't leave. But if I would, Benti definitely on the short list of possibilities. Would love house 3 but way too much upkeep, I'd take house 2 all the way.
Sad face. I wish you had ventured out to Bella Vista. Many of the homes there, you can just ride out the back door right onto the trails, and once the insterstate construction is complete in October, you can ride the 115 miles in Bella Vista, and connect to the 40 in Slaughter Pen and Coler without ever getting off the bike!! The challenge is...inventory. They go up for sale, and sell the same day for over asking price. But...compared to other places in the country, the homes are very reasonably priced. They go for considerably less than those near downtown Bentonville. But...there is more to do in Bentonville, so convenience costs a bit of a premium. Schools...are top notch.
Not gonna lie,I only watched because of you guys and B-ville. There are dedicated realty channels out there for this kinda video. That said, NOT the 3rd house! Too much to maintain. Why would you wantvto build a pump track (or any trails really) when there are already so many a stones throw away in B-ville. Not the 4th because of the weird yard and small weird room off the kitchen. So probably the first cause it was the cheapest of the 2 I didn't have any real issues with. I'd totally AirB&B out one or both of the spare bedrooms to help pay the mortgage!
My good friends just sold their condo in OC and bought a house in Farmington 10 min from Bentonville thw house is 3 times the size of their old condo. I am the God Father for both of their kids and plan to visit next year and I will bring my bike to check out all the trails. Hope you guys are having a blast out there, see you when you guys get back
That's to much of unnecessary luxury , you need a small house with a garden to grow you own food .. besides , from where you get that amount of money ? And that bunker , its a tornado area or what ??
It would be cool to see more of these in mtb spots. Knoxville, Asheville, etc…we also want to buy a house with some property outside of California so would be great to get a tour at all your stops. ✌️
2nd house all the way! I kinda agree with Hannah for the 3rd house with huge land. lots of maintenance on that house. I hope you have enough saddle time after riding your mower. 😆 good luck M &H!! take care.
Welcome to the area! I'm in Cave Springs just south of Bentonville, enjoyed the Eureka video, I was there last weekend! If y'all need anything from a local perspective don't be shy! Have a great time guys!
I guess that depends on your budget. Knowing that both of you would still travel a lot. I would go with #2. Less msintenance, cheaper and mush less to worry. Phew!!!

Wooohooo!!! Thank you!!!
Sellers market right now. I would stay in the van until the bubble pops.
It's never going to pop. This is it
Yup, the land. Try to do this in each town. It helps everyone get a feel for the vibe in different markets.
We will try to keep it up!!!
Three acres of grass is a couple of hours of mowing with a 42” mower, once a week. Mo doesn’t strike me as a guy who wants to be a yard slave. Hanna, maybe.
I would think that most of that land would be converted into something such as a pump track, etc...
Awesome! While van life is cool at some point you have to put down roots. I really do look forward to seeing yall grow as a badass family!
The only kids we see in our future right now are new bikes!!! hahahah
It would be #3 for me, I refuse to live in these newer subdivisions with houses stacked right on top of each other.
We love 3 too!!
Wow that’s crazy super affordable, housing is so expensive in pnw.
You guys can buy the 2nd house and I'll come stay in the coat closet! haha
hahahahah!!!
From a California perspective those prices seem good I guess, but from my Texas mindset, they seem expensive for what you get.
Texas has always had some the lowest home prices in the country particularly for a large metro like Dallas or Houston...Austin perhaps not.
Yeah the crap construction houses in Texas where building codes are non-existent and pipes burst after 2 days of 30° weather. Not -30° F mind you but +30° 😂😂
Hope you got permission from the home owners to show display their property on the internet… I’d be concerned about people casing my house with this.
The house with 3 acres
Just know that buying a home means endless upkeep. I dream of selling it all and full timing! 😂

Am thinking that you would take the White House with land....but way too far from the ocean...you will get homesick.
Even compared to Austin, those prices all seem affordable. More than ever, the time is right for a mountain bike/travel/house hunter show. HGTV where are you at?
If I was to move from TN, I would move to Bentonville (or area).

Definitely! The 2nd home is big enough and just enough size of a yard! Come visit soon and I'll show you some houses ;)

$205,000...*DIES IN CALIFORNIAN*
We met you guys yesterday at the bike fest. Thanks for being so friendly and approachable. We would love to have you guys become Arkansans!
Thank you so much!!! ☺️
Definitely the 3 acre!!
3rd house all the way, but for most people (me included) 4th is most realistic.
good choices!
It was pretty sweet bumping into you guys today. Keep being awesome. 😁👍
That was awesome!! Hope to run into you guys again! Maybe we’ll find ourselves in Michigan one of these days!
@@moandhannahtravel 🤞😁
House 3, but realistically House 1.
Dudes... location, location, location. House number 4. You could Shroen Train six times before the coffee brews.
Wow so cheap for houses there! Prices have gone nuts in NZ since covid, the 1st cheap one would be over 500k usd where I live.
WOW!!
wow!
#5 !!?? 😎They all could be a good a option! 🔝🚴🚴♀️🔝📽️✌️😁.........🔝🏠??🤑
hahahahah!
My budget is $500000-550000, about 2500sq. What kind of house can I buy? What about the new house?
Wow prices have gotten so much higher and there's very limited availability now especially in Bentonville proper
No WAYYYY!!!!!!!!!! We would practically be neighbors! Lol. That would be awesome!
#3 would be a dream house for us!

Smart idea doing air bnb! I'd do the same if I don't have kids.
I am an agent in San Luis Obispo California. Come here to show you cool trails and awesome houses 😎
I appreciate the effort that went into this style video! And thank you guys for this type of video!
Totally on the 3 acres! That was nice!
We were looking up in Bella Vista. All the homes up there are right next to trail systems that run through the developments

I need to get the fuck out of Cali! I can’t even get a 500 sq. foot condo for less than 400k
That's to much of unnecessary luxury , you need a small house with a garden to grow you own food .. besides , from where you get that amount of money ? And that bunker , its a tornado area or what ??
The bunker is for tornados!!
Of course house #3. Duh. Offer $460,000
It would be cool to see more of these in mtb spots. Knoxville, Asheville, etc…we also want to buy a house with some property outside of California so would be great to get a tour at all your stops. ✌️

With the prices in California I would be moving out Arkansas would be great place to live.
Indeed! I have clients from different states moving to Arkansas :)
Definitely #2
I like the third one different kind of video I like it keep up the good work guys
2nd house all the way! I kinda agree with Hannah for the 3rd house with huge land. lots of maintenance on that house. I hope you have enough saddle time after riding your mower. 😆

I just left Bentonville Saturday LoL. Awesome trip.
It’s rad here!!!
Apparently - houses in Bentonville are basically free.
Especially compared to Socal! LOL
@@moandhannahtravel Toronto - for the win.
This is different than usual but still love this good job.

What's up with Hannah's left eye??
I am recovering from bells palsey! I’ve mentioned it in the other videos :):)
Also I’m not sure why but that day was particularly bad.. it’s gotten a lot better!
