    Everything Wade said was totally about his stint with lebron and you know he's correct coz it got them two chips. Wade started posting up more and playing off-ball cuts to the basket despite being a pretty mean driver himself during the big three era. On the other hand, KD and WB tried to both be alphas and in the end KD left to win somewhere else.

      @@combatwombat594 what happened to that team the year before and who was the best player on that team the next year, don’t think it was any of the guys that “wrecked him” the year before, just saying, it’s clear now why he left just because he picked the best team to join is a slight, that is what all players should do, why be loyal to teams that will literally trade you for a new printer I’m not talking about OKC I’m talking about The whole team/players story, player gets traded all good, Tyrese Halliburton for example, but if a player picks a team he thinks he can win with, they’re automatically a snake, same thing happened to Lebron only he choked his first year and KD was finals MVP his first and did it back to back and if by some miracle he didn’t get injured again it would back to back to back and he would be to me the greatest in my opinion, Lebron gets my nod as of right now, but KD is that guy that’s got next to get GOAT title.

    If Russ would dedicate his time and energy to the defensive end, he’d make this team much better. There is absolutely no reason why Russ is not a lockdown perimeter defender. He’s bigger than most guards, stronger than most guards and way more athletic than most guards. He should be causing hell on the defensive end. Find your little pockets on offense, but take pride in setting the tone and being the captain on the defensive end of the ball. It’s so crazy to me that so many people give this man a pass on the defensive end when in reality, he should be one of the top perimeter defenders in the league based off his god given abilities

    • @Iqnacio.
      @Iqnacio. 2 роки тому +13

      100% agree, to me his problem with defense is, as usual, his quite low basketball iq, so either he thinks he's more useful spending his energy on offense or he can't read the opponents well enough to lock them down... oh, and of course the fact that he's chasing the rebound.

      Other than a few short stints in OKC, he’s always had this problem and it’s downright perplexing. It’s especially crazy how an undersized 6 foot tall, below average athlete [for an NBA player] like CP3 can make 9 All-Defensive teams while Russ has never even made one

    • @georgelaflare
      @georgelaflare 2 роки тому +8

      @@georgelaflare couldn’t agree more. When comparing CP3 and Westbrook you can see the difference in effort on both ends. CP3 is far more active on offence as well seeing as he constantly looks for opportunities while he doesn’t have the ball while Russ literally just stands around. I understand Russ has a major effort problem, but the main reason I it so perplexing is because if you watched Russ since he was drafted, he was always branded as one of the highest energy, hardest working players of all time. Seems more and more like people just assumed that because he constantly runs at full speed in transition while yelling and beating his chest whenever he dunks or something

      The Russ that played with KD is NOT the same as this guy….. you idiots need to stop saying that. Ego is something all superstars get when stardom hits. Young Russ was the best defensive point guard in the league and he also played without the ball and got plays drew up for him. Since I haven’t seen a coach give him any off ball plays…. and he like nearly every superstar doesn’t play D until the playoffs. People need to start questioning why the Lakers offense looks like a bunch of guys playing pick up at Rucker. Literally nothing ever happening outside of a few Pick and rolls, everyone just standing around all game every game. This is why so many people praise Kerr and Pop because they implemented a system befitting of their best players while Vogel just has LeBron James, AD and Russ.

One has to take a backseat and support the other. I started winning more games when I played with lesser skilled players but those players had 'Robin' like qualities, meaning they were supporting me and knowing their roles. They were passive and I was aggressive but it worked out well. In the end you have to know your role, and sometimes THAT ROLE changes depending on the team. Think of what the team needs, sometimes you have to be selfless. There are only a few players in the world that could get away with being selfish and that was Kobe and MJ, but even MJ started learning to trust his team mates better...

    Prob the best advice any of these guys have given. Shaq says playing too fast now hes playing too slow n low energy. Shaq n chuck saying it's not his fault more AD fault, AD goes down, russ still plays bad n doesn't help them win like that, so confidence is shaken. U got to get in where u fit in, play hard like he usually does, defend like he use to, n take pride that most of these PGs shouldn't be out playing him, even if they outscore him, he should still outshine them.

    I mean coming from DWade, who played with LBJ and Shaq, and won chips that way says enough about how he adapted despite being a star player himself.

    Russ has to go in the off-season and hire a shooting coach. Because as he loses his bounce his game is suffering. If Rondo can become a decent shooter so can Russ.

    I don’t think Russ’s athleticism is deteriorating. It’s really just the fact that he doesn’t mesh well with LeBron. It’s happened to several talented players before: Rodney Hood was averaging career highs in Utah until he teamed up with LeBron in Cleveland, Kuz had a great rookie year with LA until LeBron came by, and now that Kuz is on the Wizards what happens? He starts ballin tf out. LeBron is a very difficult player to build chemistry with and the fact that I still hear idiots say “LeBron makes his teammates better” is absolute blasphemy.

      No his athleticism is definitely declining. He's still explosive and more athletic than 80% of the league but he can't get the same amount of lift as he used to (consequences of being 33 with multiple knee surgeries).

    Sounds like the coach isn't adjusting to the players skills set. I had players with limited skills n work rate too yet we went undefeated. Maybe play Russ at 5 n LeBron at PG. AD at PF or SF. Monk at SG. Look at Warriors, they play Draymond at PG.

    Rus a LBJ should play the 3 and 1 respectively. Rus would be a great slasher, he dont need to shoot jump shots

    I feel like there is a magnifying glass on Russ’s play. The Lakers are just not a good team.
