Have a '15 HD LTZ. Love it every day. Will go again to this model when they get a new interior. Thk's Joe. Waiting for that Equinox Redline Edition review !!
I love it.😁👍.Very nice truck, its different and its tall.Even if ford or ram got better options,i still prefer chevy. Thanks for the review and happy holidays Raiti.
Sweet truck, definitely growing on me. After all the Ford death wobble problems, and seeing these new GM HD’s out perform the others on testing, these are definitely at the top of the list. Hard to beat that Duramax/10-speed Allison combo.
Cool thing about these Duramax General motors like this Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD is that they use the Allison transmissions the same transmission that they use those in many commercial applications
@Raiti's Rides that thing would make a great work truck though some people would baby it because it is a nice truck. too nice to probably get all beat up and banged up also not having cooled seats in the back is probably a zonk too
Chevy makes great trucks but not a fan of this re design I’ll stick with the Ford Trucks. My dad owns a 2001 Chevy Suburban still going strong with that massive V8. Prefer the older Silverado and Suburban designs better.
It is the same transmission it is Allison branded I do agree on the brown interior but with the fact that it has to much chrome as well those are my only zonks would rather have it all be body color and I would consider maybe getting one
The gmc sierra is a much better truck with very little difference. They roll off the same line, but the multipro tailgate is optional (effectively standard) on all trims. also the front isnt hideous and the color schemes are much nicer. The one thing they are missing is carbon fiber beds, but production just isnt up to speed on it yet to offer it on 8 foot beds The center console in this truck is designed to hold file folders. *The lack of a sunroof is a plus to many people like myself. I would pay more to NOT have one.* the transmission is allison branded, but it's the EXACT same transmission as in the Ford. Makes no sense to me. The lack of interior diesel clatter is for people who will be putting 50k+ miles a year on these trucks and dont want to spend 70% of their waking time listening to that duramax. Also once again the steering is very light because the truck is so heavy and meant to tow heavy load, so it helps keep strain off the driver for long drives. You are looking at this truck from a consumer/enthusiasts perspective, but trucks are still work tools first, although luxury trucks do blur the lines. You may want to find a 2500wt or custom to review to let people see more down to earth priced trucks btw The 1500 also has a turbodiesel. Hell it's the only inline 6 in all half tons (for now) The 1500 and HD's are due for an emergency interior redesign in 2021, to go along with the launch of the delayed (for this reason) full size SUV.
First off, the front of the 2500 is ass ugly. Most people agree on that. The rest of the outside looks great. Second, I can fully explain the shoddy interior design, the infotainment setup, etc. I was reading an article (I believe it was on GM Authority) and apparently GM sent out surveys to thousands of current GM truck owners. I'm not sure what the exact questions were, but GM determined that the current owners had input on how the interior should be. Apparently current owners loved the simplistic interior, infotainment system, etc. Couple that with the fact that GM just likes being cheap and using all the old parts in the bin, and this is what you've got. I've got zero problem with the interior on, let's say a Silverado Trail Boss 1500, but when you get into LTZ through the High Country trims, I'd definitely buy another brand.
You normally do good reviews. You were really weak on the new specs. Kinda like you really were not to excited about doing the review. Keep up the good reviews.
I love the new exterior design for the 2020 model. What happened to that interior? Not only is it hideous it’s also terribly outdated!! Come on chevy $60,000+ for this truck and the interior looks like that? Total let down!! Great video though, thank you🙏🏼 !
Blame government and union leaders more greedy for slice of the pie from corporation why cars cost more to build today, net profit margins fallen for corporation decades, it turnover from sales that gone up but your expenses triple for corporation decades .General motors losing money decades, people like Kevin hunt advocate are full of shit , that communist need bullet to the head for lying
Let me tell you. I always have a dude in some big GM truck on my tail and driving like they own the road. Speeding and reckless driving. One reason why I hate GM.
All the GM products look the same. No creativity. It’s like they took the design of the Camaro and said let’s generically make all the rest of our vehicles look like this

I'm guessing you haven't heard of the "Chevy shake" They all have their issues.

Thanks for that heads up Ryan.
Ryan Torres nothing like the death wobble super duties. Nothing.
I like the color of this truck! Good job Joe.
Silver is always a great color!
Nice review Joe! One of the hardest working reviewer on UA-cam! Imma have to ZONK you for going too hard! 😁
That is really great of you to say! I appreciate you being on this journey with me!
Love the Big Truck Reviews Joe , and MUSCLE CARS !! Thanks
Thanks Bob! I really appreciate you letting me share this all with you!
If I remember correctly the 10 speed transmission is Allison approved. But not an actual Allison built transmission.
You are 100% correct!
Cool thing about these Duramax General motors like this Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD is that they use the Allison transmissions the same transmission that they use those in many commercial applications
Yep, if the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD had a nick name, it would be Joe. Especially on a Saturday.
You are way to kind my friend!
Joe great job as always !
Thanks Ricky that really means a lot!
They better hire the guy from Ram who designed there interior!!
Same dash they've had for the last 30 years.
@@kdtune33 its ajoke

@@kdtune33 Really?
What’s up with companies calling it “new” but keeping with these old interiors 🤦🏾♂️
It really is frustrating and very disappointing.
Hey man. Check out the Ram interior. I think you’ll Really like what they’ve done
@@RaitisRides There is not one single piece of that interior held over from the previous year.
The Ford F250 is the real work truck!!
like it is and more expensive!

real mans truck
Some would say.
Truck looks badass
I am so glad that you liked this one.
I don't know, Mr. Joe. I think I'll keep the cargo in the interior and a year supply of King Size Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in the bed.
I like the way you think! LOL
I love this car ♡♡
I'm so glad that I brought it to you!
Love the exterior very mean and truck like, can't wait for the interior redesign in a few years.
Great video
Thanks Tommy! I am so glad that I can share it with you!
I’m pretty sure the Tahoe and suburban will be re-designed to look like the Camaro also. GM has no imagination
You are so very right!
Who would like not having alot of Turbo Diesel sound, These truck designers need to realize most truck buyers dnt want quiet trucks, ITS A TRUCK 🤣
I know you feel!

I hear there's an open law suit against GM because of shuddering transmissions(10sp).
That is not a work truck. The wt trim is a work truck
Thanks for that Vincent info.

No auxiliary switches in a work truck what the heck gm

Ford owner for years... The amount of plastic in a $50,000 1/2 ton.... Is NUTTS... Dodge used to have the crappiest interior.. now they have the best.
