hello, I just bought this soundbar and trying to understand if I should connect via optical or hdmi only. I currently connected via hdmi arc and it seems to be working. Would I get anything extra if I connect the optical cable as well? Thank you

The USB port id only for updating firmware / software, it cannot be used to connect a USB stick containing music or video.

Thank you for your videos. What Soundbar would be recommended for the Sony x90j TV. Beam and subwoofer. I like strong bass but it cannot rumble and be dominant. the maximum budget is 500e. I was thinking about the ht-g700. Thanks for the help.
