Just bought on used. One of the best guitars Ive played. Tried a Gib$on 335 and the Ibanez had better fit&finish, better playability and better tone. You video helped me to make the decision. Great playing too, mango.
Thanks for doing some actual strumming. So many of these Artcore reviews, the dude just noodles up and down, to the point one would assume that's all they're made for haha. Nice review.
Great presentation, and I wish you the best with this channel. I agree with you that the guitar can do any genre. From smooth jazz to blues, to funk, to high gain metal... it does it all. I have a 2008 AS73T with a Bigsby -type tremolo, also in Transparent Cherry. The setup is impeccable, and the finish can only be called perfect.
...great review! Thank you for demoing the sound of the pickups clean. So many guitar reviewers use distortion, which is fine as an extra, but it's the clean sounds one needs to judge the potential of the guitar.
Very nice guitar. I have three Ibanez semi hollow body guitars and I love the way they sound and play. Even if I could afford a 335, I think I'd stick with the Ibanez guitars. They don't cost a lot, but they are really well made, and underrated by a lot of players.
They really are a great value. When I got this guitar, I had a choice between an Epi Dot, ESP LTD X-Tone PS-1, and this at the same price point. The Ibanez was so much higher quality inside the f-hole, wasn’t as heavy, and seemed to have better tone controls than the other two.
1,000 views, wow! Thanks for watching everyone Edit: I’m trying to figure out how this hit 2,000 views. You guys are great, thanks again. Edit 2: 3,000 views on a review with cruddy sound and questionable playing. Thanks so much UA-cam peeps. Edit 3: I’m thoroughly confused at this point. Thanks for 4,000. Edit 4: Over 5,000 views now. I really do hope this is helpful. Thanks again.
9.4k views and counting.... Well I'd like to thank you for this video and your review. A friend is selling his Ibanez AS73, it's a tobacco Sunburst, and if I like it when I try it, I'm a buying it! Great job with the review.
It looks better than the Epiphone 335. I wish they made a smaller body es 339 version in this price range and with coil splitting. But it looks and sounds great.
At 0:53 you show the alinement of the strings. Mine, for some reason, makes a dogleg as it gies over the bridge. Nit a lit but it is noticeable when I changed strings. Dies nit look like the tailpiece or bridge accidentally moved. Bridge position looks good. Tailpiece looks oriented correctly. Ideas?
When I was in the store shopping for a semi-hollow, I played a Dot and then played this. The fingerboard and controls felt better on this one, more solid and smooth. Perhaps it could be personal preference though- I encourage you to try them both out if you can!
Bought one just like this two weeks ago as Used. Really happy with my purchase. I even bought a brand new case for it. When were these guitars made? You got the Views because folks are curious about this Hidden gem. These guitars are great!
Nice! They’re great. They still make them, just in olive metallic and no longer in the cherry I believe ☹️. I think mine is a 2017; they’ve been around since ‘02 (source: guitarspecs.net/guitar/specs/616/as73_ibanez). Thanks! I hope people are, I’m grateful.

Just got mine today! Blown away by how good it sounds!
Very professional vid! Liked your playing!

Great review, you give a better presentation of the guitar than most known review channels !
Thanks! Most of my style is directly derived from those review channels, but my OCD compels me to be as ridiculously thorough as possible
And if you enjoyed that one I plan on doing more in the future (pedals too)
Great video, very informative and well thought out!
Good detailed review. I picked mine up about 2 months ago in Mint green from a pawn shop for $250 and can't put it down!
I have one of the older models with dot inlays and no Pickguard.. I love it so much I wish mine had those features
Excellent review. Great product and tech info and sound comparison. Well done. Really good.
Thank you so much!
Awesome review man! Considering buying one of these, thanks for your insights!
Thank you! Yeah it’s a pretty good hunk of wood
Good job kid, keep playing keep doing videos you are doing a good job
I have the same guitar but a was made earlier in Japan it is the best 335 copy you can buy so much tone for the buck

Coil splitting would’ve been neat (a single-coil bridge option would be great for country and RnR stuff) but at this price point it’s still great

Nice video! Very informative
Thank you so much! I’ll put more up soon hopefully
Great review thanks!

What song are you playing at 5:07?
That would be “Plug in Baby” by Muse, one of my favorite riffs
Seems this one is way better than an Epiphone dot...?

@@hulamusicofficial4656 I already order the Ibanez ;-) I tried out many semi-hollow and I felt the AS73 a solid instrument.
