Today, we are encouraged to accept others' choices, identities, and lifestyles. It is offensive to call out what we view as sin. Everyone is free to live how they choose, and we are encouraged to not only accept it but to encourage it. However, when it comes to Christianity, those rules dont apply. With that being said, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are not accepted as truth. Witchcraft "works" and produces quick results. Following The Lord can be hard and lonely at times. It may even feel worse or like you are suffering. Some prayers go decades with what looks like no answer or improvement. In today's culture, we expect to not have to wait or work hard or suffer for anything. While sin is almost effortless. Witchcraft is real, and it works. But the bill will always come due. It is better to suffer for doing good. Even as a Christian, I can see why Witchcraft can be tempting because we want what we want so bad. We sometimes fail to look beyond what's right in front of our face. So, Witchcraft can seem like a solution for our issue. But when you consider eternity, you can see no good will come from it. I'm sure I just offended someone.... and this is why Witchcraft is more accepted today. 😔

I think spirituality is more accepted in general. Advances in technology aren’t enough for people. They are seeking and searching for a deeper spiritual experience.

I’ve never dabbled in astrology but for a while I was really hooked on watching a YT influencer she started doing the crystals I found myself wanting to get some too. But I just didn’t something would pull me away.. And I’m so glad I didn’t God has always been in my life sometimes way in the back of my head deep down in my heart. I was raised in a Christian Pentecostal home/church. He was always there. I’m so glad He’s never left my side. I too like to hear her story I’ve heard it before but like someone said before always learning something new. Aleluya! Praise God!

I fell into this lifestyle as well. I was raised a Christian, but went through a huge loss in my life that left me with divorce and becoming a single mom. I struggled with my faith after a while and wanted to feel important and this definitely gave me a false identity, a “quick fix” for my pain I didn’t know how to process. I have a close relative who is deep into all of this and obsesses on wearing green. She is elderly and talks about it every time I see her and almost always wears it and even started wearing this awful looking bright green eye shadow. I know it's spiritual but don't understand what it's all about?
She put us on game! This is much needed to help people understand the subtleties of Satan's devices. I started these common idolatrist practices in my 20s and the Lord delivered me this year from all idolatry because I asked him to. He took the desire for yoga, horoscope, crystal activations, waist beads, alcoholism, weed addiction and all forms of new age occultism from me! Im so much lighter and I truly experience the freedom of the Holy Spirit. I love not being bound by anything. @@tinaturpin8612 Yoga is of Hindu origin. Hinduism is the worship of hundreds of dieties. Yoga art is created out of the worship of these dieties by posturing your body in their likeness. So every pose is a mimic of the idol. I tried to work around this for years...some of those years in ignorance, some in understanding. Once I began to draw close to the Only true and living God, and put down my own ways the Holy Spirit convicted me about the practice. Yoga poses are worship to invite false gods in causing me some of the torment I had to be delivered from. Once I was delivered, the Holy Spirit worked on me patiently to help me find the roots of my issues and sin. Once I understood what practices I did that invited evil into my soul, why would I continue doing it? So I can't continue posturing the temple God made after false gods and call it stretching. There are way too many spiritual implications with new agism. I dont want mixture in my house anymore and Im not giving way for Satan by any means. Trust me he looking for the slightest opening and I will not play his stupid game with my own life. I only want to be pleasing to Yahweh alone and I like being delivered.

Angela makes a great point on how fortune-tellers are actually operating due to an unclean spirit working within them. We see this when Paul casted the unclean spirit out of a fortune-teller in Acts 16:16-18. Great episode!

I’m glad to see her give her testimony. I saw her 3 months ago on UA-cam and I went through the same exactly loop holes. Started with talking to my great grandmother in dreams and got myself deep into witchcraft as well. JESUS CHRIST delivered me through conviction watching her! I am saved! I’m so glad this showed up on my recommended because this is what I’m going through currently. I was so tricked into thinking that I was helping people with my tarot cards and crystals. I thought that I was a “healer” and that I was helping lead people to their “higher self”. I thought that if this is leading us to be so good, then how can this be bad but the devil even tried to trick Jesus with scripture. It’s only been about a week or two that I’ve dropped witch craft so I’m still learning and trying to find my way. I’m so thankful for a loving and forgiving God.

I watched an Occult movie last week and it was the ending that stirred something in me. Stay encouraged and pray for guidance in finding a serious Church. This is another proof of the fact that all of our testimonies are important. Not everyone is meant to have this kind of testimony, no, but the reason 1 person has it is for the sake of another who is going to struggle with this exact thing. The sovereignty of God to allow some of us to struggle with this in order to show the people still within it that we don't have to live that way. We can find salvation in the Creator and not His creation like we seem to try to do. He loves us that much and gives us specific other people to learn about God's love through. I’m glad this was recommended on my UA-cam. I was in almost the same situation, the crystals, tarot cards, astrology, astral projection. All that mess, but when I found out I was pregnant with my first child God immediately showed me I was sinning and I didn’t need to bring that sin into my childs life and it was time for me to come back to Him. Threw it all out. Then when my son was born God showed me so many blessings. Two years later I’m teaching my son about Jesus and getting into reading the Bible 🤍 First time I went to church in 8 or 10 years, I walked in started worshipping, it felt like reacquainting with an old friend. God is SO GOOD
I can confirm you waking up to a sound mind. After I was battling all types of mental illness and porn addiction, Jesus took that stuff away from me overnight, much like her testimony. Jesus is real. He is Lord. All glory be to him.
@ @ Yes I asked him to take it away. It was a process and beyond a struggle for me but eventually, he removed it all in a day. Sometimes you need to get to the root of a problem before you can take care of the problem. If you just remove a branch, it will grow back.

The enemy capitalizes on trauma!!! That’s so true!! That’s why it’s power in addressing the roots of trauma and exposing the damage… that brings awareness to it& hopefully helps heal to the point where it won’t be passed on to the next generation
I love how she describes that her mom instilling bad things wasn’t really intentional it’s just what happens when people don’t have God and do things in their own strength. I try to tell my story without dishonoring my mom, that’s the best way to put it.

@29:25 omg!!! That demonic book "Conversations with God" is exactly what I read which led me deep into the New Age stuff and serious trouble. In hindsight, now I feel like the devil himself came to me to recommend this book to me. Because how I got to even know about the book initially was by this random guy approaching me and telling me that his life changed after reading this book and made him rich basically. It gives me chills now I think about it. It reminds me of the devil tempting Jesus offering all the money and fame. Jesus knew the Word of God and I was a pretentious church goer fake Christian who did not know God and gave in. It almost destroyed my life but Jesus miraculously saved me from the hell just as I was about to give up on Jesus forever. Glory to the gracious Jesus and his love for me 🙌
This is an amazing interview… so many Christians don’t understand crystals and yoga and the other things she talked about as witchcraft…people who have gotten saved from witchcraft or satanism have some really amazing testimonies…
Crystals are just rocks. Our infatuation with them is because they are visually appealing and some are fairly uncommon. There's no mystical spiritual property to them inherently, and any danger associatedwith them comes from the meaning imposed upon them by the individual.for example, gold was used to craft idols, so was wood and many other natural materials, yet they don't have any inherent spiritually dark component in them. So therefore: -Stretching is fine and not spiritual. -Yoga is evil paganism that incorporates stretching -Crystals are in the same category. Opening a natural forming geode doesn't release or attract a demon.
Having crystals for the purpose of what most people get them for like, attracting money and success or love is having false idols. Thats why these people tend to end up having an altar of them. If they are just crystals to you, you wouldnt have them up on a shelf or table, but the practice of it tells people to put it near the sun to "charge" it making them unknowingly create these altars. The enemy tries to deceive people and keep their focus off God, but making them believe that a crystals will bring you blessings that you Normally would pray to god for. @RCinder

My stepmother is a minister and she sells crystal bracelets as a protection or healing. She says Jesus told her too but always dedicate it to him because God is the creator. Whatever we use in the natural world we have to be careful who we pray to or dedicate it yo. Also our intentions. There's nothing wrong with crystal energy but once you start using it for ego or praying to another god... that's where the problem comes in. God Def created them for us to use but ONLY for his glory. Don't miss out on all the resources he's given us. It definitely serves a purpose.
I gave up yoga, reluctantly, when a friend told me about the origins. I had even attended a Christian yoga workshop where we recited scripture while doing yoga poses! Her bringing the scripture about not worshiping God like the pagans solidified that decision for me.
I was just listening to the podcast The Bible Recap about the stories in Genesis where Jacob put up a pillar to honor God but it was a pagan practice, and the next time he erected anything to honor God it was an altar. And I’m remembering how there are so many other examples of that trying to honor God with pagan/demonic practices. God’s definitely trying to tell me something and I’m absolutely listening.
@pisketti soooo, I'm not celebrating Christmas (or Easter) anymore because of this verse! I researched the origins of many of our practices and traditions and decided that bowing to a tree to reach for presents might not be the best idea! Plus the 25th was chosen because it was the day of the rebirth of the sun god.... I'm celebrating the biblical feasts which are actually commanded by God, not just for Jews. It has been a wild 18months with learning more about how we're to worship through God's feasts, not man created ones! Not gonna lie, giving up Christmas is hard.... but Jesus said following him wouldn't be easy!
Then you better not put up a Christmas tree, hang mistletoe, make a birthday cake and blow out the candles, and so much more! Hate to break it to you but our entire culture is steeped in pagan tradition. And thinking demons are literally everywhere is not a healthy way to live life.

I have to push back on "The Four Agreements." It is a short and profound read on how to harness your ego and emotions in such a way that it's more of a psychological read. And God created psychology. I pray for discernment in my studies and for example, one of the agreements is to try to "not take things personally." Very hard for some but the realization is that it's ultimately about the other person. This is truth. Anyone who cuts you down, does something or says something to you or about you is only their perception and you shouldn't let it bring you down. Many times people do that to one another to "level" you down or to level themselves up. I appreciated that book.
I agree. And would add that two of the other "Agreements" are complimentary to, if not reinforcing, God's word. Be impeccable with your word and Do your best. (The 4th is Don't make assumptions). The Four Agreements does not delve into Consciousness, as she said. I agree that it is more of a psychology book and helps in dealing with personal relationships and was quite helpful and freeing for me when I applied it to real life scenarios. I also agree it is important to have discernment.
I believe in a lot of what she said. I didn't particularly like the "Four Agreements" but also her comment on the POWER OF NOW And how we create our own reality. We are made in the image of God, (hence we actually are creators, God has made us to be creative and that's why he gives us dreams, desires, and the ability to imagine our reality, it just needs to be submitted to him)

I usually don’t comment on videos however the part where she explained how her friend was Christian and praying for her while she was into divination/astrology hit home. I’ve had doubts that my prayers aren’t reaching Him and it’s tough because it’s basically a do or die situation (for the unbelieving and believing). I pray for the people who need saving or need to hear that voice - but sometimes God plants us in places to be that vessel of the gospel for these people. For me, if I’ve tried to plant the seed (not force), but just mention Jesus and the gospel, I pray and that’s all I can do for them. Sometimes I wonder if they’ve made their decision already, or if it’s not their time, or that my prayer life isn’t strong. This video really put on my heart to continually pray and just have faith that God can and will do what is best for the people who need saving, even if it means dragging them through the mud to shine the dirt off of them.
I totally understand this. One of the passages that really touched me and encouraged me was: "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one." (Ezekiel 22:30) Like, here was God, judging an ENTIRE nation for their wickedness and getting ready to punish them. But before He would punish them He LOOKED for just ONE person who would pray and intercede for them, and He would have showed mercy. That's just so wild to me! God would've spared an entire nation if just ONE person would've interceded for them. I read that and thought, wow, how much more would He spare only one person if I prayed for them, if He was willing to spare a nation if someone prayed for them.
This is one of the most beautiful testimonies I have ever heard. As a Christian for almost my whole life, so many things I have taken for granted on a daily basis that Jesus gives (peace of mind). All the glory to THE One and Only, Jesus the Christ!
Lecrae I know you've done some great episodes but this one is my favourite for sure! It showcases how slick the enemy can be. We all need to be aware of how he works and how seemingly innocent things that society wants us to accept need to be challenged and origins need to be explained. Angela touched on it briefly but even some church sabbath days is rooted in Paganism and anti-semitism from Constantine the great ultimately changing the Hebrew day of worship. Amazing episode!

i'm in my own journey and i do really relate to her. i'm at the stage where i'm balancing my new ageism with being catholic. i became catholic about eight months ago, and i've been into witchy stuff for most of my life. i'm into crystals, yoga, tarot, astrology, and the moon. i listened to the entire podcast and don't know how to feel. i know what she said about you can either have both feet in light but you cant have one in light and dark but my new ageism has been a part of my life since i was 13 (im now 28). i'd have a hard time letting it go. part of what brought me to the church was realizing that just because things and people can feel good for you doesn't mean they are actually good for you. i read all the books she mentioned and i totally agree with her, it teaches people that they are God and that they can create their own future, and I realized that wasn't true through my own experiences. as a woman in a patriarchal society, witchcraft made me feel empowered and seen. but i know that's the devil's hand at work. i just don't know how to let go of this anger i have towards men and the patriarchy in general. i think the hardest would be for me to let go of my attachment to the moon. to me it symbolizes femininity and intuition, and it aligns with women's menstrual cycles. it helps me feel like i'm not some crazy emotional bitch society might see, but some powerful intuitive wise soul. the Moon has been in there in my darkest hour. the Bible is male-dominated--i dont feel empowered by it. I asked Jesus to show me why women weren't his apostles and why they aren't in the bible so much, but all I get is a picture of Mother Mary and Mary Magadaline at his feet when he's about to die, and I don't get it. It's been a struggle. Please pray for me
I really appreciate your honesty in sharing your struggle with letting go of some of the new age stuff and the appearance that God’s not for women, etc. I’ve experienced and wrestled with those thoughts as well. Two resources that helped me get a fuller truthful picture of God’s view of women and to see how he loves and empowers us, is: Jesus and Women by Kristi McLelland and How Jesus Broke the Rules to set you free by Sharon Jaynes. Sometimes we need guidance and cultural historical context to more accurately interpret the Bible. I’m sure there are more good resources out there, but those are a great start in my opinion. And keep relying on the Holy Spirit as you read the Bible- got to dig deeper but God did amazing things for and through women throughout the Bible and to this day. We have a place at His table.
Hii, I am in the same boat & truly I hear both perspectives of what she’s saying as in witches and Catholicism. I truly feel like what it comes down to is intention. I don’t feel that the witchy crystal stuff is in fact evil unless it’s meant to be used as such but if you believe in with love & light it can also have a positive effect in your life. To have such a “ pick a side” mentality can also lead us astray. I do think you can incorporate god in whatever you do & the higher power will guide you to whatever feels right & brings you the most peace in life. You shouldn’t feel guilty for being open & doing something that’s been helping you rather than following what’s helping others. We’re all on our own journey. Do what works best for you.

This lady has been absolutely a blessing. I thank God she's now on our side as she shines the light 🕯️ on darkness. She gives Christians a better understanding of how people can stray to the dark unknowingly, which is needed for helping others. Her testimony helped save me out of the new age. I was deep in the new age for 15 years, and my experience was very similar to hers. I started with a curiosity of astrology, and before I knew it, I was reading natal charts. I got deeper into the new age and believed reincarnation. I also believed I was a Sirian Starseed here to help raise the vibration of humanity smh. I got into ancient Egyptian spirituality, numerology, tarot, etc... In the new age, there are many truths, endless paths, and endless practices smh. So thankful Jesus saved me out of the "love and light" movement 🙏🏾
The part that really got me was the statement “there is no mother” and when we quote scripture it’s also important to consider what version of the Bible are we referring to. From going thru a very similar process & constantly finding new information and thought forms to consider, I can tell like me, this person is still learning and growing. And like me, one of the parts of this growing process is feeling like in order to be accepted as Christian for example means that I have to completely reject one expression of religion or spirituality to fit into the constructs of a form of Christianity that also has a troubling past since being altered and religious doctrine edited. So I see the manipulative religious dogma in this conversation that’s just as concerning as the concerns expressed about other religious or spiritual systems. So it’s just replacing one experience with another one that’s equally laced with its own set of problems. King James for starters, the celebration of pagan holidays which are not Christian dates even, the editing of the calendar, the rejection and removal of certain books or editions of the Bible, the editing of our worshiping date… I am still learning and the more I learn the more I stick my foot in my mouth because everything is so distorted that it’s easy to go from one indoctrination to another with the intention of being loyal to one set of ideology and the more I see the corruption in everything, the harder it gets to being loyal to any set of ideology knowing that the one I believe in which is what Christianity stood for originally, is not the Christianity of our modern times. And that goes back to the subscribing of “there is no mother.”

This was not my first time hearing a testimony of someone delivered from witchcraft and the dark arts, so I thought I was pretty well informed about the big things. But this is the first time I’ve heard Yoga explained this clearly. It is encouraged by so many medical providers and therapists and has so many real physical benefits. I’ve been practicing yoga for several years now and always had my antennas up about “bowing to yourself”, and the sun salutation. I knew it was Hindu in origin, but had no idea that it was a spiritual practice and a prayer. This hit me like a Mack truck; I know this is the conviction of the Holy Spirit. My mind is blown on so many levels. Now I must rebuke the enemy and all manifestations of his power in my life as a result of opening this door to him. Thank you Lecrae for letting the Lord use you and Angela as a tool to set the captives free! This was fire 🔥!
I love the breakdown of her speaking on zodiac signs. Because NONE of it was meant for what it is now. I love her breakdown and explanation. I used to be HEAVY into astrology, and it literally had me in a path of following closer to the devil. Even though I was going to church, and sending out prayers, I would still believe my sign, and not want to deal with certain people, because of their signs, when it took me awhile to realize WE´RE ALL FLAWED.
I do yoga and it helps me relax and I also meditate. I will also do this with my daughters. We do it to relax, get rid of our stress, anxiety, ect. We never ever think of anything evil and I think it's ridiculous that some people do. It's especially good for my youngest daughter because she's autistic and it really works for her behavioral issues as well. I just don't see what you guys see.
And Jesus loves you just as much as he does these people who somehow think doing yoga is the pathway to hades I think these people need to read Matthew 7: 1-3. @ according to the podcast - we do alternate practices- which in western history we demonize other practices historically- so yoga = demonic work? Like why?! So relatable, growing up without knowing God and religion I was heavily influenced by spirituality during my teens after high school. This was fantastic chat. I resonated. I have a beautiful freind i grew up with and she would read the cards and all into being very in touch. Sadly after the last 10 year's the demons have taken her soul. She no longer believes God and talks against God, mother nature, govts etc she is up late every night with voices talking to her and she says they are trying to kill her. She had been medicated up but refuses to take medication now. Please pray for her to be well again. I miss her and pray to God she seeks him again to save her soul
I love this interview. it has helped me realize a few things. from high school, i dabbled with zodiacs and horoscopes but didn't take it religiously (as people do nowadays). into my 20s i came across the enneagram tests and other personality tests. and this interview shined light on how the devil works vs God. the devil will work thru the conduits and give you a complete list of your personality and who you are. a lot of times it'll trick you into giving your insight to your future if you stick with a certain path. I find succor in the thought that God loves us so much and acknowledges where we are in our own lives that he is patient enough to give us line upon line precept upon precept and show us not who we are but what we are capable of. that is where true strength is found. it's trusting that Him as a source will lead us to greater places and enlightenment wherever we may be in life. This is incredible. I came to know Jesus for myself on 9/19 and I love that you are just speaking God’s Word. There is nothing more powerful. I’m married and my husband is not a believer yet and his family and some of my family have started to turn away from me and want nothing to do with me. I cried because I mourn the relationships I had with them but I feel peace and goodness from God and I will continue to pray for them every single day and moment I can. My two oldest kids were raise knowing God from the time I repented when they were 7 and 2 years old. These kids read and memeorized their Bibles, they chose to be baptized. But they mixed in with the world and decided they liked that better. My oldest is into crystals and my second is into witchcraft. My oldest child's boyfriend is not saved. Because Western society is thankfully less of a theocracy than it used to be. Let's keep it that way.
Today, we are encouraged to accept others' choices, identities, and lifestyles. It is offensive to call out what we view as sin. Everyone is free to live how they choose, and we are encouraged to not only accept it but to encourage it. However, when it comes to Christianity, those rules dont apply. With that being said, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are not accepted as truth. Witchcraft "works" and produces quick results. Following The Lord can be hard and lonely at times. It may even feel worse or like you are suffering. Some prayers go decades with what looks like no answer or improvement. In today's culture, we expect to not have to wait or work hard or suffer for anything. While sin is almost effortless. Witchcraft is real, and it works. But the bill will always come due. It is better to suffer for doing good. Even as a Christian, I can see why Witchcraft can be tempting because we want what we want so bad. We sometimes fail to look beyond what's right in front of our face. So, Witchcraft can seem like a solution for our issue. But when you consider eternity, you can see no good will come from it. I'm sure I just offended someone.... and this is why Witchcraft is more accepted today. 😔

I have a close relative who is deep into all of this and obsesses on wearing green. She is elderly and talks about it every time I see her and almost always wears it and even started wearing this awful looking bright green eye shadow. I know it's spiritual but don't understand what it's all about?
She put us on game! This is much needed to help people understand the subtleties of Satan's devices. I started these common idolatrist practices in my 20s and the Lord delivered me this year from all idolatry because I asked him to. He took the desire for yoga, horoscope, crystal activations, waist beads, alcoholism, weed addiction and all forms of new age occultism from me! Im so much lighter and I truly experience the freedom of the Holy Spirit. I love not being bound by anything. @@tinaturpin8612 Yoga is of Hindu origin. Hinduism is the worship of hundreds of dieties. Yoga art is created out of the worship of these dieties by posturing your body in their likeness. So every pose is a mimic of the idol. I tried to work around this for years...some of those years in ignorance, some in understanding. Once I began to draw close to the Only true and living God, and put down my own ways the Holy Spirit convicted me about the practice. Yoga poses are worship to invite false gods in causing me some of the torment I had to be delivered from. Once I was delivered, the Holy Spirit worked on me patiently to help me find the roots of my issues and sin. Once I understood what practices I did that invited evil into my soul, why would I continue doing it? So I can't continue posturing the temple God made after false gods and call it stretching. There are way too many spiritual implications with new agism. I dont want mixture in my house anymore and Im not giving way for Satan by any means. Trust me he looking for the slightest opening and I will not play his stupid game with my own life. I only want to be pleasing to Yahweh alone and I like being delivered.

Angela makes a great point on how fortune-tellers are actually operating due to an unclean spirit working within them. We see this when Paul casted the unclean spirit out of a fortune-teller in Acts 16:16-18.

I’m so glad this showed up on my recommended because this is what I’m going through currently. I was so tricked into thinking that I was helping people with my tarot cards and crystals. I thought that I was a “healer” and that I was helping lead people to their “higher self”. I thought that if this is leading us to be so good, then how can this be bad but the devil even tried to trick Jesus with scripture. It’s only been about a week or two that I’ve dropped witch craft so I’m still learning and trying to find my way. I’m so thankful for a loving and forgiving God.

Constantly pray and ask the Holy spirit to guide yo7, heal you and help you. Read scripture, pray it all goes hand in hand. I recently renounced my involvement in the Occult as well. I watched an Occult movie last week and it was the ending that stirred something in me. Stay encouraged and pray for guidance in finding a serious Church. Unfortunately a lot of Church members are ignorant of spiritual warfare.

This is another proof of the fact that all of our testimonies are important. Not everyone is meant to have this kind of testimony, no, but the reason 1 person has it is for the sake of another who is going to struggle with this exact thing. The sovereignty of God to allow some of us to struggle with this in order to show the people still within it that we don't have to live that way. We can find salvation in the Creator and not His creation like we seem to try to do. He loves us that much and gives us specific other people to learn about God's love through. Thank you for being obedient and sharing this, Angela. You have no idea the amount of people you will help move towards God by telling this story.

I’m glad this was recommended on my UA-cam. I was in almost the same situation, the crystals, tarot cards, astrology, astral projection. All that mess, but when I found out I was pregnant with my first child God immediately showed me I was sinning and I didn’t need to bring that sin into my childs life and it was time for me to come back to Him. Threw it all out. Then when my son was born God showed me so many blessings. Two years later I’m teaching my son about Jesus and getting into reading the Bible 🤍 First time I went to church in 8 or 10 years, I walked in started worshipping, it felt like reacquainting with an old friend. @ @ Yes I asked him to take it away. It was a process and beyond a struggle for me but eventually, he removed it all in a day. Sometimes you need to get to the root of a problem before you can take care of the problem. If you just remove a branch, it will grow back.

The enemy capitalizes on trauma!!! That’s so true!! That’s why it’s power in addressing the roots of trauma and exposing the damage… that brings awareness to it& hopefully helps heal to the point where it won’t be passed on to the next generation

@29:25 omg!!! That demonic book "Conversations with God" is exactly what I read which led me deep into the New Age stuff and serious trouble. In hindsight, now I feel like the devil himself came to me to recommend this book to me. Because how I got to even know about the book initially was by this random guy approaching me and telling me that his life changed after reading this book and made him rich basically. It gives me chills now I think about it. It reminds me of the devil tempting Jesus offering all the money and fame. Jesus knew the Word of God and I was a pretentious church goer fake Christian who did not know God and gave in. It almost destroyed my life but Jesus miraculously saved me from the hell just as I was about to give up on Jesus forever. Glory to the gracious Jesus and his love for me 🙌

This is an amazing interview… so many Christians don’t understand crystals and yoga and the other things she talked about as witchcraft…people who have gotten saved from witchcraft or satanism have some really amazing testimonies…
God made crystals
Crystals are just rocks. Our infatuation with them is because they are visually appealing and some are fairly uncommon. There's no mystical spiritual property to them inherently, and any danger associatedwith them comes from the meaning imposed upon them by the individual.for example, gold was used to craft idols, so was wood and many other natural materials, yet they don't have any inherent spiritually dark component in them.
So therefore:
-Stretching is fine and not spiritual.
-Yoga is evil paganism that incorporates stretching
-Crystals are in the same category.
Opening a natural forming geode doesn't release or attract a demon.
Having crystals for the purpose of what most people get them for like, attracting money and success or love is having false idols. Thats why these people tend to end up having an altar of them. If they are just crystals to you, you wouldnt have them up on a shelf or table, but the practice of it tells people to put it near the sun to "charge" it making them unknowingly create these altars. The enemy tries to deceive people and keep their focus off God, but making them believe that a crystals will bring you blessings that you Normally would pray to god for. @RCinder
I'm finding this red flags. Why is yoga, a practice rooted in Hindu philosophy, being demonised here? Sounds like a bit of xenophobia. She sounds indoctrinated, from one extreme to another. Not a very trustworthy source
My stepmother is a minister and she sells crystal bracelets as a protection or healing. She says Jesus told her too but always dedicate it to him because God is the creator. Whatever we use in the natural world we have to be careful who we pray to or dedicate it yo. Also our intentions. There's nothing wrong with crystal energy but once you start using it for ego or praying to another god... that's where the problem comes in. God Def created them for us to use but ONLY for his glory. Don't miss out on all the resources he's given us. It definitely serves a purpose.
I gave up yoga, reluctantly, when a friend told me about the origins. I had even attended a Christian yoga workshop where we recited scripture while doing yoga poses! Her bringing the scripture about not worshiping God like the pagans solidified that decision for me.
I was just listening to the podcast The Bible Recap about the stories in Genesis where Jacob put up a pillar to honor God but it was a pagan practice, and the next time he erected anything to honor God it was an altar. And I’m remembering how there are so many other examples of that trying to honor God with pagan/demonic practices. God’s definitely trying to tell me something and I’m absolutely listening.
@pisketti soooo, I'm not celebrating Christmas (or Easter) anymore because of this verse! I researched the origins of many of our practices and traditions and decided that bowing to a tree to reach for presents might not be the best idea! Plus the 25th was chosen because it was the day of the rebirth of the sun god.... I'm celebrating the biblical feasts which are actually commanded by God, not just for Jews. It has been a wild 18months with learning more about how we're to worship through God's feasts, not man created ones! Not gonna lie, giving up Christmas is hard.... but Jesus said following him wouldn't be easy!
Then you better not put up a Christmas tree, hang mistletoe, make a birthday cake and blow out the candles, and so much more! Hate to break it to you but our entire culture is steeped in pagan tradition. And thinking demons are literally everywhere is not a healthy way to live life.

I have to push back on "The Four Agreements." It is a short and profound read on how to harness your ego and emotions in such a way that it's more of a psychological read. And God created psychology. I pray for discernment in my studies and for example, one of the agreements is to try to "not take things personally." Very hard for some but the realization is that it's ultimately about the other person. This is truth. Anyone who cuts you down, does something or says something to you or about you is only their perception and you shouldn't let it bring you down. Many times people do that to one another to "level" you down or to level themselves up. I appreciated that book.
I agree. And would add that two of the other "Agreements" are complimentary to, if not reinforcing, God's word. Be impeccable with your word and Do your best. (The 4th is Don't make assumptions). The Four Agreements does not delve into Consciousness, as she said. I agree that it is more of a psychology book and helps in dealing with personal relationships and was quite helpful and freeing for me when I applied it to real life scenarios. I also agree it is important to have discernment.

I believe in a lot of what she said. I didn't particularly like the "Four Agreements" but also her comment on the POWER OF NOW And how we create our own reality. We are made in the image of God, (hence we actually are creators, God has made us to be creative and that's why he gives us dreams, desires, and the ability to imagine our reality, it just needs to be submitted to him)

I usually don’t comment on videos however the part where she explained how her friend was Christian and praying for her while she was into divination/astrology hit home. I’ve had doubts that my prayers aren’t reaching Him and it’s tough because it’s basically a do or die situation (for the unbelieving and believing). I pray for the people who need saving or need to hear that voice - but sometimes God plants us in places to be that vessel of the gospel for these people. For me, if I’ve tried to plant the seed (not force), but just mention Jesus and the gospel, I pray and that’s all I can do for them. Sometimes I wonder if they’ve made their decision already, or if it’s not their time, or that my prayer life isn’t strong. This video really put on my heart to continually pray and just have faith that God can and will do what is best for the people who need saving, even if it means dragging them through the mud to shine the dirt off of them.
I totally understand this. One of the passages that really touched me and encouraged me was:
"So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one." (Ezekiel 22:30)
Like, here was God, judging an ENTIRE nation for their wickedness and getting ready to punish them. But before He would punish them He LOOKED for just ONE person who would pray and intercede for them, and He would have showed mercy. That's just so wild to me! God would've spared an entire nation if just ONE person would've interceded for them.
I read that and thought, wow, how much more would He spare only one person if I prayed for them, if He was willing to spare a nation if someone prayed for them.

Lecrae I know you've done some great episodes but this one is my favourite for sure! It showcases how slick the enemy can be. We all need to be aware of how he works and how seemingly innocent things that society wants us to accept need to be challenged and origins need to be explained. Angela touched on it briefly but even some church sabbath days is rooted in Paganism and anti-semitism from Constantine the great ultimately changing the Hebrew day of worship. Amazing episode!

i'm in my own journey and i do really relate to her.
i'm at the stage where i'm balancing my new ageism with being catholic. i became catholic about eight months ago, and i've been into witchy stuff for most of my life. i'm into crystals, yoga, tarot, astrology, and the moon.
i listened to the entire podcast and don't know how to feel. i know what she said about you can either have both feet in light but you cant have one in light and dark but my new ageism has been a part of my life since i was 13 (im now 28). i'd have a hard time letting it go.
part of what brought me to the church was realizing that just because things and people can feel good for you doesn't mean they are actually good for you.
i read all the books she mentioned and i totally agree with her, it teaches people that they are God and that they can create their own future, and I realized that wasn't true through my own experiences.
as a woman in a patriarchal society, witchcraft made me feel empowered and seen. but i know that's the devil's hand at work. i just don't know how to let go of this anger i have towards men and the patriarchy in general.
i think the hardest would be for me to let go of my attachment to the moon. to me it symbolizes femininity and intuition, and it aligns with women's menstrual cycles. it helps me feel like i'm not some crazy emotional bitch society might see, but some powerful intuitive wise soul. the Moon has been in there in my darkest hour.
the Bible is male-dominated--i dont feel empowered by it. I asked Jesus to show me why women weren't his apostles and why they aren't in the bible so much, but all I get is a picture of Mother Mary and Mary Magadaline at his feet when he's about to die, and I don't get it. It's been a struggle.

About you being catholic. I would suggest following the bible. Catholism puts the church above the bible.
I really appreciate your honesty in sharing your struggle with letting go of some of the new age stuff and the appearance that God’s not for women, etc. I’ve experienced and wrestled with those thoughts as well. Two resources that helped me get a fuller truthful picture of God’s view of women and to see how he loves and empowers us, is: Jesus and Women by Kristi McLelland and How Jesus Broke the Rules to set you free by Sharon Jaynes. Sometimes we need guidance and cultural historical context to more accurately interpret the Bible. I’m sure there are more good resources out there, but those are a great start in my opinion. And keep relying on the Holy Spirit as you read the Bible- got to dig deeper but God did amazing things for and through women throughout the Bible and to this day. We have a place at His table.

Hii, I am in the same boat & truly I hear both perspectives of what she’s saying as in witches and Catholicism. I truly feel like what it comes down to is intention. I don’t feel that the witchy crystal stuff is in fact evil unless it’s meant to be used as such but if you believe in with love & light it can also have a positive effect in your life. To have such a “ pick a side” mentality can also lead us astray. I do think you can incorporate god in whatever you do & the higher power will guide you to whatever feels right & brings you the most peace in life. You shouldn’t feel guilty for being open & doing something that’s been helping you rather than following what’s helping others. We’re all on our own journey. Do what works best for you.

I was meant to hear this today because I grew up in church and have been a Christian for all of my adult life but could never shake off the what ifs in Astrology and zodiac signs and literally said verbatim in a conversation about it last week “theres some truth in it and I don’t know why” and this video just answered that for me

Shortly after that my cravings for alcohol became less and less. And I had 1 set back July of 2022 and have not been drunk since. Then June of 2023 I came off a cocktail of antidepressants.

Her testimony helped save me out of the new age. I was deep in the new age for 15 years, and my experience was very similar to hers. I started with a curiosity of astrology, and before I knew it, I was reading natal charts. I got deeper into the new age and believed reincarnation. I also believed I was a Sirian Starseed here to help raise the vibration of humanity smh. I got into ancient Egyptian spirituality, numerology, tarot, etc... In the new age, there are many truths, endless paths, and endless practices smh. So thankful Jesus saved me out of the "love and light" movement 🙏🏾

The part that really got me was the statement “there is no mother” and when we quote scripture it’s also important to consider what version of the Bible are we referring to. From going thru a very similar process & constantly finding new information and thought forms to consider, I can tell like me, this person is still learning and growing. And like me, one of the parts of this growing process is feeling like in order to be accepted as Christian for example means that I have to completely reject one expression of religion or spirituality to fit into the constructs of a form of Christianity that also has a troubling past since being altered and religious doctrine edited. So I see the manipulative religious dogma in this conversation that’s just as concerning as the concerns expressed about other religious or spiritual systems. So it’s just replacing one experience with another one that’s equally laced with its own set of problems. King James for starters, the celebration of pagan holidays which are not Christian dates even, the editing of the calendar, the rejection and removal of certain books or editions of the Bible, the editing of our worshiping date… I am still learning and the more I learn the more I stick my foot in my mouth because everything is so distorted that it’s easy to go from one indoctrination to another with the intention of being loyal to one set of ideology and the more I see the corruption in everything, the harder it gets to being loyal to any set of ideology knowing that the one I believe in which is what Christianity stood for originally, is not the Christianity of our modern times. And that goes back to the subscribing of “there is no mother.”

Jesus! This podcast has done serious damage to Satan’s kingdom by shining light on a broad array of New Age practices. This was not my first time hearing a testimony of someone delivered from witchcraft and the dark arts, so I thought I was pretty well informed about the big things. But this is the first time I’ve heard Yoga explained this clearly. It is encouraged by so many medical providers and therapists and has so many real physical benefits. I’ve been practicing yoga for several years now and always had my antennas up about “bowing to yourself”, and the sun salutation. I knew it was Hindu in origin, but had no idea that it was a spiritual practice and a prayer. This hit me like a Mack truck; I know this is the conviction of the Holy Spirit. My mind is blown on so many levels. Now I must rebuke the enemy and all manifestations of his power in my life as a result of opening this door to him. Thank you Lecrae for letting the Lord use you and Angela as a tool to set the captives free! This was fire 🔥!

I love the breakdown of her speaking on zodiac signs. Because NONE of it was meant for what it is now. I love her breakdown and explanation. I used to be HEAVY into astrology, and it literally had me in a path of following closer to the devil. Even though I was going to church, and sending out prayers, I would still believe my sign, and not want to deal with certain people, because of their signs, when it took me awhile to realize WE´RE ALL FLAWED.
I do yoga and it helps me relax and I also meditate. I will also do this with my daughters. We do it to relax, get rid of our stress, anxiety, ect. We never ever think of anything evil and I think it's ridiculous that some people do. It's especially good for my youngest daughter because she's autistic and it really works for her behavioral issues as well. I just don't see what you guys see.
And Jesus loves you just as much as he does these people who somehow think doing yoga is the pathway to hades I think these people need to read Matthew 7: 1-3. This is the most narrow minded channel I've ever had served up to me. I have a deeply personal relationship with Jesus and guess what? I've done yoga my whole life. What a strange channel.

@ according to the podcast - we do alternate practices- which in western history we demonize other practices historically- so yoga = demonic work? Like why?! That makes no sense… it clearly shows medical benefits so regardless of religion, heritage and cultural stuff it is actually backed by scientific theory that it helps people more than hurts….. if someone says science isn’t real and that science is demonic because it explores how things work, “Gods” work, like I feel like we’re regressing, we know not what we do so how are you going to scold others because it doesn’t align with gods will… church and state are separate because of this…
Lord hear my prayers. As a single mother. I’m still struggling financially trying to provide the basics for my two sons. Both are are special needs. And now that school is starting I’m overwhelmed. Every month is a struggle not to end up on the streets. Father give me strength, because I’m so tired of struggling. I want to give up but my faith won’t allow it!💕💕😢

Witchcraft is more “accepted” because it’s been drip feed to the world for years in forms that we find entertaining and innocent. The more something is repeated the more it’s adapted as normal because now it’s familiar. There is also a fascination with having power like God, it makes people feel special and elite. I pray that all who are deceived have their eyes opened and they choose to accept Jesus as their savior because he loves them and wants them to live with him for eternity.

So relatable, growing up without knowing God and religion I was heavily influenced by spirituality during my teens after high school. Made my life so bad and I had so much going on which made me feel like I needed to rely on spirituality.
Got to a point where I couldn’t do it anymore and I cried out to Jesus to come into my life and saved me and he did.
Everything in my life has changed completely due to Jesus. He is the truth!!!!!

She was living in the world for 27 years of life, and she got to a point where she lost all hope, and called out to Jesus saying, “Jesus, save me!”

The lesson here, to me is: You can only live in the world/be of the world for a certain amount of time before you realize that you need saving.

This was fantastic chat. I resonated. I have a beautiful freind i grew up with and she would read the cards and all into being very in touch.
Sadly after the last 10 year's the demons have taken her soul. She no longer believes God and talks against God, mother nature, govts etc she is up late every night with voices talking to her and she says they are trying to kill her. She had been medicated up but refuses to take medication now. Please pray for her to be well again. I miss her and pray to God she seeks him again to save her soul
I love this interview. it has helped me realize a few things. from high school, i dabbled with zodiacs and horoscopes but didn't take it religiously (as people do nowadays). into my 20s i came across the enneagram tests and other personality tests. and this interview shined light on how the devil works vs God. the devil will work thru the conduits and give you a complete list of your personality and who you are. a lot of times it'll trick you into giving your insight to your future if you stick with a certain path. I find succor in the thought that God loves us so much and acknowledges where we are in our own lives that he is patient enough to give us line upon line precept upon precept and show us not who we are but what we are capable of. that is where true strength is found. it's trusting that Him as a source will lead us to greater places and enlightenment wherever we may be in life.

This is incredible. I came to know Jesus for myself on 9/19 and I love that you are just speaking God’s Word. There is nothing more powerful. I’m married and my husband is not a believer yet and his family and some of my family have started to turn away from me and want nothing to do with me. I cried because I mourn the relationships I had with them but I feel peace and goodness from God and I will continue to pray for them every single day and moment I can. Yes 🙌 This gave me chills because she literally deadly exact story.. I lost my grandfather and my mother and turned to crystals and tarot and mediums and astrology and referring to myself as a witch… and it got bad quick… thank the Lord he pulled me out before it was too late
Wow, this is so encouraging to hear that you are never too far for Jesus to reach you and pull you back to Him. My two oldest kids were raise knowing God from the time I repented when they were 7 and 2 years old.
These kids read and memeorized their Bibles, they chose to be baptized.
But they mixed in with the world and decided they liked that better. My oldest is into crystals and my second is into witchcraft. My oldest child's boyfriend is not saved.
If anyone would be so kind, please pray for these kids of mine and my younger three stay with God.
The end looks to be so near and I'm worried for them.
