Good information. MKZ looks great. I bought one of those grandpa type.
@@acornsucks2111 Thank you 👍 Yeah they are nice looking cars
It's what the kid wants a special car it's your money that you're buying him or her 1999 toyota corolla or camry or buick lesebre or honda or Nissan doesn't matter what they do or don't like they're lucky to b getting a car at all. We work hard for what we want and save kids are to spoiled and picky if they want that nice car then they have work and save up money for that car I love your channel bro .I'm saying that our parents was hard working and help us if we got good grades
@@DrscammerRacingrush2 I hear that. I would have been happy with any car. I bought my own first car for like 900$ lol But….. Sometimes parents, as a reward, want to get their kid something that they really like. So why not 🤷♂️
You recommend 2010 to 2012 Lexus ES 350. Are there any good Lexus in ES series? Any recommended Acuras?
I mean pretty much any used Lexus is good. They all have some common problems to watch out, for like any car. The newer ones with the new turbo engine that just got recalled…. We’ll have to wait and see on those. Acura is good. Not as good as Lexus… but still good. I’m just not as big of a fan of them as I am Lexus. Some Acuras I wouldn’t get though. Any used Acura with a turbo engine or the 3.5 v6 with vcm2 (variable cylinder management) I’ll avoid.
@@MJ100k Thank you 🙏
What are your thoughts about a 2004 Toyota Tacoma with 40k miles with a 4 cylinder engine and auto transmission for 10K plus taxes?
@@bella3008 2004 - 2008 Tacoma Frames had major rust issues - some where repaired years ago and some where bought back. So make sure to closely inspect for frame rust.
That being said - people really love these vehicles and they hold their value. Looking at other 2004 Tacoma’s for sale around the US. 10k $ is underpriced for only 40k miles. So I’m thinking it’s probably not in good condition. Or the owner doesn’t know what he has (I doubt it)
So it’s really up to what the buyer wants it for… If it’s a guy who loves Tacomas… and loves to go off road.. and is willing to fix any rust problems… then yeah it’s worth it.
If someone wants it for basic transportation… I’d pass on it. There are better ways to spend 10k if you just want basic transportation.
@@MJ100k I understand, going off road is not my hobby. Just looking for basic transportation. Thank you very much
Are repair parts (and labor) more expensive for a Lexus ES 350 versus Toyota Avalon or in general Lexus versus Toyota?
@@bella3008 In general a Lexus will cost more than a Toyota for part and labor. But less than a typical Luxury car like Benz, BMW and especially Audi.
I have a 2011 ES 350. The power train and other critical systems are all Toyota, nothing exotic, so the parts are not any more than an Avalon or Camry. Any good mechanic can work on it. Smooth, quiet, powerful, it's a great car.
@@johnjones393 It’s a modern day classic 👍💯
Thank you.
what are you trippin on? FIrst car the budget is more like $2500 cmon man be realistic lol

Lol - I hear you, I’ve been there … I might have to make a struggle car edition of this video. 🤔
I used to buy 1500 to 2500 dollar cars in the early 90's. I drove a lot and never had one last for 2 years.
@acornsucks2111 i mean if you don't know how to work on car sure. Ive been failing a $450 jeep grand cherokee i rescued from an insurance auction last December and it's never once given me issues...
@MJ100k lol i wouldn't even call it struggle edition. How does a normal kid just graduating high school and working at taco bell save up 10k? It's just not a realistic number for 90% of first car buyers not getting money from mommy and daddy
Audi a4 b6 1.8t 6 speed manual for $2-3k and spend $2-3k on maintainence immediately. Solid car
@@leonchen89 It’s solid, but needs 2-3k in maintenance as soon as you buy it ? 🤔
@@MJ100k routine stuff like timing belt, PVC valve, coil packs. Can’t blame the car for these.
@@MJ100k you do them once and they are good for 5 years. Enough time for the second car.
@@MJ100k i live in Canada and this is the perfect car for snow belt driving. Can’t get anything else this cheap with AWD.
@@leonchen89 I saw a lot of awd Subarus in Colorado during the winter.
