BMW MOA Getaway at Los Osos, CA with a visit to Parkfield, San Andreas Fault, Bitterwater

There is no shortage of options for your visit to Los Osos. A short ride in any direction will provide you with a variety of sights and activities. If you are looking to explore, check out the nearby cities of San Luis Obispo or Pismo Beach. If you have a desire to connect with nature, Morro Bay State Park and the Morro Bay Estuary await your arrival. If you’re looking for something unusual, visit the Monarch Butterfly Preserve or the Elephant Seals.
On Saturday we took highway 58 to Bitterwater Road, headed north toward highway 46. Then took Cholame Road to a little town called Parkfield with a very interesting San Andreas Fault sign. There is a wonderful café there called Parkfield Café with an incredible menu. We then continued north on Parkfield Grade Road, got our bikes dirty and dusty and had some majestic views on top of the mountain. Headed back down via 198 and Peachtree road to Paso Robles and back to Sea Pines Resort for a great dinner and raffle.The following video captured the highlights of the trip.

Thanks man. Lots of footage was not usable as the camera shifted and was pointing to my crotch with all the washboards and ruts on that dirt stretch. Wish we had a better lighting at dinner but we got a couple of good moments out of it. I was actually pretty impressed by the media mod of the GoPro. Captured the voice flawlessly.
