    Hi Rachel! I am overcoming CCI! It took me so long to finally realize I can heal. I am going all in. It’s so hard to overcome that belief but seeing you is another insight into how this is possible! What was the biggest factor in helping you release that limiting belief?

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  Рік тому +2

      That’s amazing!! I’m so glad to hear you are working towards healing. ❤️ I think limiting beliefs and core beliefs really can take time to change. It definitely took time for me. At first it was just opening up to the idea of recovery being possible, and then later it developed into fully believing I could heal. Some things that really helped were stepping away from chronic illness support groups/online groups and listening to as many recovery stories as I could. I’m cheering you on!!

    Good to see you are reconnecting with your old life. Must be strange but nice. I think it’s time I start brain training but not sure how…I did meditation and breathing every day for the first few months of being ill. Brought relief in the moment but I continued to deteriorate. Now when I try it, it kinda just makes me feel ill 🤷🏻‍♂️

    So happy for you recovery! Would you say the Prolotherapy combined with lifestyle choices is what has allowed you to become more active?

    Hi Rachael, I am happy you are recovering from your condition. I was wondering if you are taking LDN now.

    Who recommended DNRS? Who made the program? Are they a psychologist or neuroscientist?

    Do you have any negative side effects now aside from more limited range of motion from your fusion? I'm so frustrated. I just lay around all day and I can't do much :( I go to the gym but it's very controlled. Please be careful with the slopes. Even perfectly healthy people get royally f'd up. I don't want to see you hurt severely again.

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  Рік тому +1

      I won’t go into detail here, the fusion still effects me everyday and has made my recovery more complicated. I wish I could go back and change it, but it was part of my story for a reason. Wishing you all the best, and so sorry to hear of your struggles. ❤️
      I agree, I’m definitely not in a rush to go skiing. I just don’t want to close it off as a possibility in the future. 😊

    I’m so happy for you ❤ it’s so inspiring. Would you say DNRS is the biggest shift to your healing ?

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  Рік тому +3

      Thank you so much ❤️ Honestly, I’d say nervous system regulation overall has been the most important aspect of my healing. Lots of things fall under that category (brain retraining, nourishing foods, connection with nature, elevating emotion, letting go of limiting beliefs, etc.) DNRS has been a very helpful tool, but I think the most important part of healing comes from within.

      @@HealingWithRachael did it help your connective tissues at all?

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  Рік тому +1

      @@GhostSubstitute Yes it has. That as well as the carnivore diet and animal-based nutrition. It's been gradual, but my connective tissue is so so much stronger now!

      @@HealingWithRachael Wow. I sometimes see/saw you on FB before. Good to hear you’re doing well.
      I may need surgery sadly (my issue is less instability (mild)) but more a skull base deformity but I’m terrified as my connective tissue is shit. And I worry my neck won’t hold together if I fuse.
