You might enjoy Nebulous Fleet Command the campaign isn't in there yet but the multiplayer works I've had ton's of fun with it and it's a pretty much the closest thing that exists that's similar to Nexus and cheers for the walkthrough saved me a headscratcher on how to clear a few missions.
Thanks! I've tried the demo of Fleet Command: looks promising, but so far it stuck in the perpetual early access and I heard, that the singleplayer component still wasn't introduced.
@@Scorch0017 I'm not one to defend early access games but it's a 1 person passion project hell the developers wife does most of the VA work and it is a niche title within an incredible niche genre, But in all fairness there's nothing to be lost just waiting for the game to leave early access and see how things pan out the campaign "should" be out sometime in the "near future" I will say the devs done some incredible work managing to get the multiplayer as well balanced as it is there's literally nothing quite like it at the moment and said dev is fairly active posting about his plans and how things are playing out on his channel.....it's easy for me to say it's not stuck in early access hell but from the initial builds before the game hit early access it's fundamentally completely different and a testament to someone taking feedback and more or less re-building everything from the ground up I wish I'd have kept footage but it's if you started with Minecraft and ended up with KSP....not a great comparison in fairness but the sheer amount of work 1 person has put into this is seriously unreal. www.youtube.com/@eridanusindustries9427/videos Oh and the modding community is really awesome too I've personally been working on trying to port over the human ships from Nexus but I'm limited by tech woes at the moment :) and cheers for the reply always appreciated.
Thanks again! In this playthrough I finally devised a failproof tactic for the penultimate mission, since it was the only one left, which could still give me trouble.
Didnt know that the precision lasers can be this good. Tried them by putting a couple on the destroyers, but the enemy always repaired the systems. Later the gunboats really helped out with ships systems, but now it turns out, I just didnt use enough lasers.
Yeah, the thing with lasers in this game is that you need to fully commit either into them or energy cannons. Too bad heavy lasers have such poor accuracy, so they are effective only against battleships and Vardrag ships.
Love this, it has been ages since i played ! Are some of these cutscenes only in hard mode or related to medals/how you play? I feel like some of these are unfamiliar.
Also, this mission is a fucking nightmare, I did it in a completely different way from the video hiding behind asteroids since I was instantly spotted every time I tried to use the radiation spots to hide in.
This is one of my favorite games and campaigns ever and I'd love to play it again especially at 1440P, any recommendations to get it running well because I'm having problems with it.
Enemy ships have their stats buffed by 50% on Professional, while player ships and allies receive the same treatment on Beginner difficulty. On Experinced the stats are unchanged.
I PLAY ON PROFESSIONAL LEVEL AND ITS UNPLAYABLE I CANT FINISH MECHANOID MISSION DIFFICULTY LEVEL IS OVER 9000 NOT LIKE IN YOUR VIDEOS , GAME IS BUGGED AND BROKEN SADLY ;/ I CANT KILL SINGLE DEVICE EVEN WITH PROPER WEAPONS ;/
Angelwing is the tankiest ship, you should always use her as a bait to draw most enemy fire. Unlike the rest of your fleet, she can regenerate hull damage and even devices out of the grey zone. Give her combat drives, two support fusion generators, best energy cells and keep SpaceTech ECM always equipped, it is the core of your defense. Sometimes, when you change stances, ship can turn ECM off by itself, you should watch for that, because as long, as ECM keeps working, most enemy fire will completely miss Angelwing, even heavy lasers. Heavy lasers are really innacсurate against anything smaller, than battleship. Only the light lasers are dangerous, since they have around 90% accuracy. In Mechanoid mission there are two or three Gorg tactical destroyers, you should take care of them first and disable their light lasers ASAP.
@@Scorch0017 ok i try it and its impossible to do anything they killing me in 30 sec even when i doin everythign what u said , i heared its some kind of bug with level scaling ;/
It's always good to see this game
The Raptors are kinda hilarious. "Yes! Flap flap skinny human worm birds! Boom! Ha! Ha!"
Superb lets play tks for this
Thanks for the feedback. I've tried to showcase the most failproof ways to beat this game on Professional difficulty, which I found.

I will say the devs done some incredible work managing to get the multiplayer as well balanced as it is there's literally nothing quite like it at the moment and said dev is fairly active posting about his plans and how things are playing out on his channel.....it's easy for me to say it's not stuck in early access hell but from the initial builds before the game hit early access it's fundamentally completely different and a testament to someone taking feedback and more or less re-building everything from the ground up I wish I'd have kept footage but it's if you started with Minecraft and ended up with KSP....not a great comparison in fairness but the sheer amount of work 1 person has put into this is seriously unreal.

I wish they made a squeal. I'd pay top dollar for it
They tried several years ago. There was a kickstarter, but it failed.
1:36:09 You could have called back the commando manually. RIP guys.
Is it not possible to save the Hawking on hard mode?
It has been a few years but I think I have done it.
@@jamegumb7298, no, only on easier difficulties.

The story cutscenes are always the same.
@@Scorch0017Thanks for clarifying. :)
I'm trying to do this sneaking Mission now and for some reason I don't have the timer like you do

I saw someone reporting that the timer vanishes with certain UI scaling options enabled.

I don't have any problem with this game. Check the corresponding page on pcgamingwiki.
